Nov 2014: The parking policy at Seahawk Square Apartments blatantly contradicts the notion that a lessee should have free use and enjoyment of their property. While such use and enjoyment should be relegated to quiet activities that do not disturb other tenants, having visitors should not qualify as a preventable offense.
Unfortunately the parking policy which has been chosen for Seahawk Square allows for tow-truck companies to surveillance the parking lot frequently, and encourages them to linger and lie-in-wait for apartment visitors to make the unfortunate mistake of leaving their car unattended. Not only that but the company contracted is a company whose price to have a vehicle released is steep compared to their competitors'. Review from 11/15/14 on Apartment Ratings
Sep 2007: My girlfriend and I moved in here about two months ago, and haven't had any serious problems yet. The place was incredibly dirty when we first moved in, so there was some extensive cleaning needed...but other than that, all of the appliances work and the neighbors seem friendly enough.
It's not the most quiet complex by any means, and there's often people blasting music at ungodly hours of the night...but I've never seen any trouble started, so no complaints there.
The units are small, but they're perfectly comfortable for two people in a one bedroom. Layout is nice and open, and the appliances all do their job well.

Feb 2007: My boyfriend and I have a year lease at SHS right now. I like the apartment we're living in, our apartment is privately owned, so the appliances are nice and there's wood flooring. The apartment is very very small though and with two people it does feel cramped. We're paying $495 which is cheap, but I don't feel that safe here. A cop sits outside alot on the weekends which is supposed to make us feel more secure I suppose, but it just makes me question why he's there in the first place. My landlord was fantastic getting things fixed, she even had to install a new AC unit which i'm sure was very expensive, but there were a TON of roaches here when i first moved in in August, which I never really got used to. Parking is good except when the neighbors decide to get into loud fist fights outside.
