Nov 2018: I lived here for a year and loved it! The staff is amazing!. Nikki is the best! Anytime I had an issue or needed anything she was always willing to help. They updated the pool and deck while I was there and it was the best place to bring friends and hang out. Great apartments and awesome staff! Review from Google Nov 2018: As a business owner I automatically look for the spirit of excellence and professionalism. I need to know I'm secure and surrounded by the best as a woman with children. Ms. Morales gave the ultimate walk through and made my process easy-she followed up and even gave detailed attention to my kids as we went through the paperwork. I'm very thank to see her doing great this - I wouldn't be surprised if she is the undercover owner this place! People still care in 2018! Review from Google Oct 2018: One of the best places I have had the pleasure of living at for two years. Plenty of good amenities to keep your family active from a fitness center, tennis court, basketball court, and a pool. We are also near Waterford Lakes where you can go shopping, eat at restaurants/bars, or go to the movies. The staff that work here are fantastic! One staff member in particular Jamilia Jones welcomes you with a smile and is very attentive to what you need. She is passionate about this community and wants everyone to feel safe in their home. She is one of the best assistant property managers I've had the pleasure to meet. They also fix anything broken in your apartment in a timely manner. It is a diverse crowd that lives here, which makes it a more unique place to live! Review from Google Sep 2018: If you are looking for a safe, friendly, and beautiful place to live look no further Highpoint Club is that place. The best part of living here is the leasing office staff. Anytime I go in there to ask for something or to just grab a coffee the manager Nikki G is always friendly and helpful. It’s nice to know the property manager cares. Spoke to her about the front gate and now it’s working! five stars for my favorite place to live since I have moved to Orlando. Review from Google Jul 2018: Realistically, this should be a 4.5 star rating. This is a great, quite community. It's well manicured in terms of landscaping and very clean. The gym could use some additions, like a free weight bench and/or squat rack, but is decent. Not fit for a serious lifter. The pool/dock area was just redone and is beautiful (nice grills, patio furniture, etc.) Overall, no complaints and have enjoyed my time here even under various management companies (resident for 2+ years). Review from Google Jun 2018: This place is a joke ever since the new management took over. No one is ever in the office, they don’t answer the phones, or return the voicemails that you leave.
The very few times that someone is in the office, they are very rude.
They also send rude emails and text messages to the whole community, no professionalism at all.
They are also super quick to post a fee to your account. Is your trash bag too heavy for the trash people to pick up? You get a fee.
Lived here two years and never had a problem until now. Review from Google Jun 2018: Applying and leasing an apartment at Highpoint Club was very simple and easy thanks to Jamilia Jones. She made the whole process stress free and my roommate and I love our new apartment! All the features are brand new and stainless steel. So far I am very happy here. Review from Google Jun 2018: We've been here going on our fourth year now and we've never had a bad experience with this place. Our neighbors have come and gone, some good, some bad but overall the people here are all pleasant. The staff has been more than courteous to us, maintenance has always been super on time and friendly and the management has gone out of their way to help resolve anything we ask of them. Not everyone can understand the manner in which some people speak so to some, a few of the staff members may seem rude but they're not, that's quite literally the way they speak or it's their faces and expressions. I'm not saying they always have good days but as an overall experience this place is awesome. As to the bug problem others have experienced, we've personally seen a total of 3 large roaches and five small ones in the years we've been here (and yes, I'm t Review from Google May 2018: I wish I could give this place zero stars. Let’s start off with how bad management is, don’t bother calling because you will not be able to contact anyone. The walls in the apartment are thin and flimsy especially if you live on the first floor, it’s like you live in a zoo...you can hear every step made above, every argument, everything! Extremely overpriced for what it is. Grounds are kept nice, but be ready to be woken up at 7 am by the leaf blowers and grass trimmers. Awful experience here, I would take your money elsewhere. Review from Google May 2018: I have no issues living here. The amenities and apartment are all nice expect for my neighbors.
29H (college kids I suppose) they run up and down the stairs at all times of the night, have parties with loud music and I have a new born and I have recently undergone surgery so I’m under heavy medication. They are loud and disrespectful. I’ve been complaining about them since they moved in and now it’s almost a year. I complained to the office non-stop but they keep saying I need more proof and they can’t help me. I’ve even gon as far as approaching them myself and calling the police. I loved living here but now I just can’t wait till my lease is up so I can get away!!! Review from Google Apr 2018: I've lived here for almost a year and some things have been great but I'm happy to be moving to a nicer community with a more reputable/professional company.
Pros: Flooring is nice, I've had no issues with noise from neighbors, storage is awesome for small apartment, maintenance is decent/fast and it's great living close to 408.
Cons:
1. They market themselves as a gated community, but the gate has been broken 99% of the time. This was a major issue a few months ago when multiple cars had their tires stolen.
2. The office tried to push online payments, but a confirmation number apparently doesn't guarantee that your payment went through. You won't find out until days later (because it says it takes a few days to appear on bank statement) if it ended up not going through for whatever reason and then you'll be hit with a $150+ late fee tha Review from Google Apr 2018: Administration of the property is poor and inconsistent. Lived here for 4 years, and have seen many issues regarding payment issues, notices to residents, etc. There is no need or want to retain current residents, when the property can get new residents at a higher monthly base rent. Renewing at this property is highly unlikely.
There are a number of other properties in the immediate area (2-5 minute drive) that offer more living space, up to date amenities, and an organized, respectful management staff at lower, more affordable rates. If you are a student or young couple, look elsewhere; the management team stacks on fees relentlessly. High Point Club is nothing short of of an apartment complex scamming those in need of housing Review from Google Mar 2018: thank you jamilia for showing us this new appartment its been great so far my kids enjoyng it also thanks again michael negron 11025 pondview dr apt e Review from Google Mar 2018: I have not moved in as yet but this goes to the customer service of Jamilia Jones. She is awesome!!! She was very patient and helpful throughout my application process. Review from Google Mar 2018: Gracias to leasing agent Jamilia Jones. She made mi international move very easy. So nice apartments! Thank you! Review from Google Feb 2018: So, we keep ourselves pretty lay low with neighbors and management drama with things going wrong in this place but after 8 months living in this complex and making payments on time monthly, they decided to make everybody pay through an electronic payment system which clearly states they're NOT resposible for any glitch their system may experience but it's the "standard" now. Of course on our first try even with a confirmation number the transaction somehow didn't go through and NO QUESTIONS ASKED....next thing you know they are charging $150 late fee, when you go to the office, they have a STACK of letters, possibly the same SCAM for everyone!! Let's see what kind of scam we're presented with when our lease is up!!!! Review from Google Jan 2018: this place sucks maintenance is super nosey. ever since they got new staff and new maintenance this place has really sucked. the old staff was much more accommodating and nicer. maintenance was very nice and now they're all new and very rude. never expect a smile from them, i get stared down every time i walk in and out of my apartment which is great. yeah its cheap but its a trend to live in a top unit and have a dog barking 24 hours out of the day its like no one lives with them. anytime I'm outside no matter what time i hear the same dogs barking. they focus on petty issues and dont deal with the real ones. some parts of the neighborhood I've never seen maintenance in and they always linger in the same area totally wouldn't be an issue if i wasn't getting dirty looks from some of them. please go put some new landscape instead of observe the Review from Google Dec 2017: I was going to try to rent here and the office staff was rude. After all I still thought about because of the location and Thank god I just notice the reviews now. Reviews mean everything. Look like if I live here there’s nothing but problems. Roaches , rude staff, try to rip off as much when you move out and charge you!! No thank you i rather live in a box than dealing with this mess . Get it together and maybe your reviews will start going up. I experience as a prospect the rudeness so I can’t even imagine being a tenant . Review from Google Sep 2017: (Update, September 19, 2017) BEWARE: DO NOT LIVE HERE! Thieves wanting to steal tires have easy access to this complex! I am moving out as soon as my lease ends. Management-groups (both Robbins and ZRS) are terrible, gate is broken 24/7. Ghetto people have easy access to the complex. People that don't even live in the property use the pool, BBQ areas, hell, they even come to fish in the lake, and even use the gym at times. They turn off all lights in the pool & dock area after 7PM (which makes it easier for theft) so do not buy into their website images which show a beautiful pool and dock-side with lights everywhere. People drive in and out of the property like if it was the E Colonial, I have been close to getting hit several times. Last week I got cut off by the mailbox.
I attached some images to show the reality of this complex and how ir Review from Google Sep 2017: The complex itself has a nice look to it and is well kept by the maintenance team, but the management group is without doubt the worst. I had a problem with one of my payments and they still made me pay $200 because I was late two days of rent. I explained to them what happened but they did not seem to care at all. Called my bank this morning and now there are two payments going on (which means I just paid an entire month of rent in advanced), management team is incompetent and has not given me any solution. I am leaving this place as soon as my lease ends. Review from Google Aug 2017: I lived here for 3 years. The first year, my apartment became infested with roaches because my upstairs neighbors were hoarders. It took 8 months of complaining to management before they took my complaint seriously. Management changed and it seemed to get a bit better. When we moved out Dec 2016, we got a bill for $252 in damages which we paid as soon as it was received. We demanded the receipt which the office stated they did not know how to create. I'm glad we did because this week, we received a letter in the mail that says we still owe the money and that it had been sent to collections. We have tried to reach out to highpoint management multiple times but have not received a call back. I do not recommend this apartment complex. It looks well maintained and tranquil on the outside but management has no idea how to do their jobs effectiv Review from Google Aug 2017: High point club was decent place to live with nice amenities and terrible management and book keeping.
I lived at highpoint club for 2 and half years. My apartment was pretty nice and the maintenance staff was helpful and timely, but the office staff was very incompetent. One time I was out of town for a week on business and they gave one day notice that they were paving the parking lot and all cars had to be moved or they would be towed. My car got towed because I was out of town and I talked to the office staff and they told me they would waive the charges because my situation but I kept getting notices that I had to pay it. Every time they claimed they would take care of it but this happened three times. When I moved out they said I owed some money for some damaged blinds, which I paid within the 30 day time frame. This was back in J Review from Google Jul 2017: Currently live here, I guess the property was just bought and they have new management. Front office seems nice and the maintenance guy was fast to fix a problem I had. Continue to really enjoy living here! May 2017: The property is so poorly maintained. I've seen several windows that have mold growing on the outside of them. There's not a day where I walk outside and the property doesn't smell like marijuana. The gate is always broken and takes several months to repair. don't get me wrong, the leasing staff are a group of great people. We've never had an issue with maintenance either. They were very quick when we had an issue. The only issues I have are with the upkeeping of the property. It's very dirty and a good amount of the tenants are college students who are loud and disrespectful late at night (3-4am) screaming in the parking lot and during the week.
Review from 5/24/17 on Google Apr 2017: I lived here for a year and a half and had a pretty good experience. The manager wiped out her old staff and the new staff has horrible customer service and the manager as well as her staff has little to no people skills. It's unfortunate that their way with handling residents who paid rent on time always has to be so poor and unkind. The apartments have seasonal bugs, every summer and some maintenance requests will be ignored for the entirety of your stay.It would be much better if they had a manager and staff that knew how to talk to people.
