May 2019: Interesting apartment layout. Great for college kids. Lots of room. Well maintained. Review from GoogleMar 2019: Extremely small bedrooms, no amenities, $50 a month parking, and outrageous rent. Would not suggest this place to anyone. Also you will have to sell your soul to the devil, Aspen Ridge Management, to live here. They will consistently create false charges on your account, not repair the apartment, and treat you as trash. Review from Google
Oct 2018: 1. Positives:
a. Close enough to walk to campus
c. Private Laundry
d. Very prompt about responding to my maintenance requests (and Jose the maintenance man is kind and effective)
e. Recently painted stairs
f. Option for covered private parking
g. Private room and spacious living room
h. Updated carpet and black leather couches
i. Few cleaning checks
j. Large step-in shower and 2-person shared bathroom
2. Negatives:
a. Someone cut my bike lock and stole my bike: no cameras. BE AWARE OF THEFT. I have several friends who have had people go through their unlocked vehicles or broken into their locked vehicle. Old Academy is a target for theft.
b. Must go to Aspen Ridge management office for keys, checking in and out, etc. When I first arrived, it wasn’t very clear where I should go to sign in and pick up things. It is mega expensive to live here but the open room is my favorite because it is large and you can host bigger parties and not worry about room as much. Management is poor but I feel like it always is. Review from GoogleNov 2017: Decent sized private rooms and big living rooms. Kitchens have very little cabinet space. Our unit was filthy when we all moved in. This place is expensive but by far the worst part about Old Academy is dealing with Aspen Ridge Management. Aspen Ridge will suck every dime and nickel out of you possible. There are fees for everything. They charge $7 per person per month just to split your utility bill. Parking is $35 a month if you want a spot. don't even bother cleaning for cleaning checks because they will fail you so they can charge you more fees. Save your money and sanity and live somewhere else.

Jul 2017: Fun environment and generally a wonderful group of people here. However Aspen Ridge who manages this complex can be difficult to work with and there are often hidden fees.
Review from 7/24/17 on GoogleFeb 2017: Do not live here! They are raising the rent by $30-40. My shower is poorly designed so that the water does not drain properly. Unless you clean your shower on a daily basis, mold begins to grow in about 3-4 days. I emailed the maintenance in November, December, and January to fix the problem, but they didn't seem to care and have not fixed the problem. The living room window leaks a lot of water when it rains and even though I have complained many times they still have not fixed it. Lots of noisy neighbors playing drums. It is close to campus and you have a washer and dryer. Those are the only nice things. Review from GoogleJul 2016: Old academy is a solid place to live! The rooms are a good size but the walls are a little on the thin side ( I am easily woken up in the morning by chatter). My favorite thing about old academy is the large center living space that attaches to the kitchen. It's a great space for having people over. Review from Google
