Sep 2018: I was in La Jolla #9 and the landlady, Marie Hansen, made my time there a living HELL. All the appliances were broken when I moved in, and when I asked for repairs she blamed it on me even though there was clear evidence it wasn’t working loooong before I moved in. When I tried to talk to her about it, she yelled at me and hung up on me: “I am very upset with you right now!!†After that, there was a mouse problem, which she didn’t seem to care at all about. Encouraged me to call my home teachers. Then out of NOWHERE, she decides to go all Nazi and treat me and my roommates like her maid service with these awful, awful cleaning checks. (When I moved in she said there wouldn’t be official cleaning checks and the place was left a dump). Sep 2018: Disgusting. Management at La Jolla lets the garbage overflow consistently. If anything is left out, it just stays there. Someone dropped cat litter and it is still there, months later underneath the rest of that garbage. If the photos aren't enough, come stop by and experience the smells of what La Jolla has to offer.
