Apr 2018: I've been living here for almost 1 year and 4 months now. It is a very nice complex and the staffs are friendly and helpful. They've just upgraded the laundry facility. Almost having no problem inside my apartment unit. However, keeping bicycles under the stairs is not very safe. My bicycle almost got stolen since someone had been trying to cut the cable lock that I put on the bicycle, but I managed to move my bicycle inside my apartment before they could steal it. Maybe because the walk in gate is always broken so anyone can come in into the complex. Review from Google
Mar 2018: I applied to Broadstone Ranch in person on 1/21 without a SSN because I've been very cautious with sensitive information since I work in IT and there have been many breaches recently. I went into the front office immediately after, asking if that was okay. They said it was probably fine. I called them 8 days later inquiring about the status of my application for them to tell me they've done nothing yet and now need my SSN for the background check. This is understandable that they need this information but this is something they should've reached out to me far before I reached out to them. After a whole fiasco of unfreezing/re-freezing my accounts with different credit giants, They finally are able to move forward on February 5th, a day before I was expected to move in. Mar 2018: Usually they are prompt with fixing things. However the past year, the apartment has been going downhill. Probably because of the recent management change. The laundromat in the complex has been closed for upgrades for 10 days now. They sent out a email but haven't update the residents. I also feel extremely unsafe because the gates are often stuck and broken.(Not always) Leaving the complex vulnerable at night to predators or burglars. I would not recommend this apartment complex. Consider doing more research, you are paying an extra $200 - $300 a month just for the location alone. There's nothing luxury about this apartment complex, however the front office staff and maintenance crew is extremely friendly and helpful. Just one example of how crappy management has become recently is when my refrigerator broke. I told management about it and it took over two weeks to get it replaced. Aug 2017: DO NOT RENT HERE!!! IT IS NOT SAFE!!! All week, the tires on the cars here have been stolen. It's scary to drive down to the exit gate and seeing a different couple of cars every day on cinder blocks, hoping that the next one isn't yours. And now they're breaking into cars! My roommate's car just got broken into!! It won't be long until they start breaking into apartments. Unfortunately it's hard to tell if these thieves live here or not since the gates are always broken, and the apartment complex has done nothing about it still. Either way, IT IS NOT SAFE TO LIVE HERE. IF YOU ARE A STUDENT, YOU WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE BETTER LUCK AT MAVERICK CREEK VILLAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF 1604. I lived at Maverick Creek for a year before moving here, and I can definitely say that I miss Maverick Creek and always felt safe there. My small one bedroom apartment is so clean with great AC, decent water pressure, powerful ceiling fans, newer appliances, and great lighting. I had to call maintenance many times in the first year because my toilet kept breaking, but they were always there the day after I submitted the request, and very respectful. The fitness center and pool are closed too often for repairs, but that's really my only complaint. Nice place to live!

The assistant manger is rude and the other person in office is nice but not helpful.
Fairly nice apartment but roach infested and very very very noisy neighbors. After several complaints nothing has been done. I wouldn't recommend to a serious UTSA student or working person with sense!
Also very rude dog owners - leave poop on grounds but maintenance is very quick to clean and that's ashame they have to clean up after someone else's dog. Cannot wait to leave this place.

It's such a nice, cozy, apartment for one person. The newly remodeled kitchens are beautiful, my bathroom is pretty big, and the overall aesthetic of the apartment is really nice. The staff is super quick at responding to orders. My only complaint thus far is the cleanliness of the property, and the fact that my smoke detectors keep going off at random! I've complained about this to them twice before, and specifically stated each time that the batteries do not need to be replaced, yet each time they replaced the batteries.

If you are looking for a typical student housing (obnoxious parties, sexual harassment, loud cars) this is NOT the place for you.
If you are looking for a respectful and decent housing (apartment appreciation parties, good neighbors, decent parking) this IS the place for you.
Incredible forest making you feel like you are on the edge of civilization. Pool is very peaceful and nice. Great charcoal grills. Beautiful patio deck for your get togethers.
Office is very helpful, they will even call you before you are charged a late fee on your rent.
Maintenance is cordial and timely.
Grounds are kept clean and tidy.
Highly recommend.

I love how they create a sense of community with the events put on through out the year. The pool parties are epic and I love the new fire pit that keeps the community together through the winter.. All we need now is a hot tub! I always recommend Broadstone to friends, two have already moved in and are more than happy with their experience.
