Mar 2015: Horrible horrible place to live. They only care about your cash and once you've signed the lease they've got you by the balls and treat you like crap. Quick to hit you with any fee they can. Attempted a very invasive project of remodeling out cabinets while we're still living here, demanded we have everything out by a certain date or we'd be hit with a $100 dollar fine a piece. ($400 total...for not moving some dishes) On that date the people never came. And they kept saying they were going to come the next day or the next day or next week and to be ready with everything out of the cabinets.
Review from 3/30/15 on Apartment Ratings Mar 2015: I don't even know where to begin. I pay $540 a month for the most disgusting, atrocious, piece of crap apartment I have ever lived in. The walls look like old hotel room walls with 5 layers of chipping paint on them. The floor jams are an off-white color from all the wear and tear. The carpet is just... absolutely sickening. EVERYTHING BREAKS. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. I cannot tell you how many times I've had to request maintenance to come FIX THINGS. The closet door came off the tracks, the fan came out of the wall in the bathroom, the cabinets on my dress broke off, the shower head and sink head BOTH HAVE TERRIBLE WATER PRESSURE and they are also rusted and grimy.
Review from 3/23/15 on Apartment Ratings Apr 2014: I loved living at the Commons! It was really convenient for me having to just walk down one street to get to all of my classes. The staff was always friendly whenever I was in the office. I've heard parking could be an issue for some, but I had spot right in front of my apt. I do wish we could have pets, but it's a fully furnished apartment so I understand why we can't. Overall, I really enjoyed my time living here and would recommend it for anyone looking for an apartment really close to campus for a really good price.Review from 04/01/14 on Apartment Ratings Nov 2013: I would recommend a college student to live at The Commons because the price is reasonable, it's an easy walk to campus, and the staff are easy to communicate with. There are a lot of parties mainly on the weekend, but sometimes during the week. I think that is expected of college students living anywhere this close to campus. We do have some run down appliances, but we get maintenance quickly after sending in our request-usually the same day or within the next few days. I recommend buying a parking spot because it's a guaranteed parking place, and you can tow anyone who parks in your spot. The dryer does take a long time to dry clothes, but it's not an inconvenience. Overall I love living at The Commons, and I renewed my lease for next year. Review on 11/12/13 on Apartment Ratings
