Jan 2019: I visited this place to see the availability for one bedroom apartment. The office was closed that time. I talked with one of the residents and visited his room. I found the rents are costly in proportion with the facility they provide. USF is very nearby and there is a USF shuttle STOP in front of University Square. Review from Google

Oct 2017: New, management alot of people have moved due to rent increase, old staff playing with tenets rent, leaving balances that not owed, paperwork cant seem to get straight, laundry room machines work sometimes, and what they decided is it Although you have rent receipts that say otherwise. Apr 2017: Where should I start? I lived here for 2.5 years, up until a month ago. Worst decision of my adult life. There is a single maintenance person, whose sole purpose is to inform each tenant that their broken part or appliance has been ordered - and then forget about it. They tried to charge me hundreds of dollars upon move-out to replace the 1970s-vintage stove that was already broken when I moved in. There was a used needle in the grass in front of my apartment last year for two weeks. As other reviewers have mentioned, the on-site management changes every few months. One time it was because the manager was accused of stealing rent funds. I experienced a severe infestation of flying termites that they couldn't properly treat the first time, so I had to deal with it twice. Oct 2016: DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS PLACE. I would give zero stars if possible. Since living here I have had all major appliances replaced after having major issues with each, major insect infestations including termites and fleas, the electrical wiring of the apartment is trash, and the cable had to be reinstalled outside of the apartment. There have been 4 different managers within a 6 month period. My apartment has now had a flooding issue for 3 months, where there is standing water in the front half of the apartment. Now the apartment is beginning to smell like mold. Every time you talk to a manager they just say they are going to fix everything and it never happens.

Feb 2016: I'm a college student living at University Square Apartments and I absolutely love it. The staff make you feel like family. The maintenance man is amazing, and always happy to help with maintenance needs or even just general help. The community is quiet, yet friendly. The area of the apartment is very close to the grocery store, mall and USF. The staff so kindly helped me hang up pictures in my apartment when I moved in. Many times, the maintenance man noticed me taking out my trash and took it out for me. The property manager, Susan is just the sweetest thing and is so easy to talk to and so willing to help out with any problems.
