Oct 2019: I don't see why park avenue has such bad reviews. I have been living here for 2 yrs and I have never seen a bug problem in my apt. The staff here has always been very friendly and the grounds are always taking care of. If I ever had a problem inside my apt maintenance fixed it in a very timely manner. The dumpster areas are also very clean and well kept.The only problem here is some of the people with dogs do not clean up after them and park avenue supplies the doggie bags! So if you want a nice quiet community to live in check out this place. Review from Google

Oct 2019: Most of these reviews come for people who have no reason living here anyway, this is a great quiet place to live. The bad reviews are coming from the people who get their car repoed, people who dont pay their Bill's, people who dont want to keep their place clean!!! The ones who want to have pest control in your apartment every week,we live in Florida, your gonna have bugs regardless of how clean you are. Review from Google

Aug 2019: Okay, so Iâ€™ve only lived here for a little over a week but I wanted to share my experience so far since there are so many negative reviews here. Upon move in everything was in tip top shape and if it wasnâ€™t they sent maintenance out immediately to fix it. The staff has been super nice and accommodating. My apartment was so clean that I thought the carpets were new! I havenâ€™t had any issues with bugs and Massey came out and sprayed the apartment on move in day so our apartment has continued to be bug free with the exception of flies that have flown in while our doors were open. (Our fault, and theyâ€™ve quickly died inside.) The staff in the office have been super nice and helpful with this whole process and we are extremely grateful for that. There is no curbside trash or recycling here but the dumpster is a short walk away from nearly anywhere in the complex. Jul 2019: If i could give this place zero stars I would. When I moved in here I had no issues and was okay with my living space (dated and some minor issues when i moved in). Then comes move out day and everything was fine until 30 days later when im supposed to receive my deposit check they want to find a way to keep it. I moved out May 31st, the day I was suppose to send them my written notice I was working a double and my job you can not have your phones out whatsoever or you can be fired. Literally the next day i had sent an email regarding why i didnt send it the next day and I got the okay from two employees saying being a day late was okay. Now i just received a paper in the mail saying their keeping my deposit I called them and the employees couldnt be any ruder and repetitive on things that werent even answering my questions. Christine even refused to give me any managment numbers and her attitude needs to be put in check Review from Google

The squeaky noise of your neighbor walking upstairs can really drive you INSAINE. I asked the manager (Javiar) to do something (both in email and in person). he told me my neighbor upstairs is moving out and after he is gone, he would call the roofing guys and see if it can be fix "but it's an old building". New neighbor moved and and he didn't even try. Now at 2 A.M I have to wake up from the noise. My anxiety have gotten Soooo much for since I moved here. Basically I could say you should only live here if you don't have any other options, because it's not going to be easy and nobody gives a damn what you are going through "the building are just OLD." Jun 2019: Management will do things to your apartment or around your apartment without any notice. Then when you ask them if a notice was sent out they Will Lie. The management sucks and does not care about their residents problems or concerns. Worst apartments ever!!! Review from Google

Jun 2019: If you're anything like me, customer service is the utmost important factor when signing a lease or purchasing anything in fact. Once you sign that lease the staff began to show who that really are. Park Avenue Luxury Apartments is by far the worst experience I have encountered in Tampa. Park Avenue has POOR customer service, from the corporate office, whom did not return any of the three emails nor the multiple calls and voicemail I've sent/ left. The staff in the leasing are disrespectful for no reason, go find another job if you're unhappy with your position. Let me add there is absolutely nothing "luxury" about this apartment I promise you! They put a few black appliances in units then call it luxury but the structure of this apartment is so old and worn down, they just paint over it to fool their tenants. This past December my apartment flooded (1st floor) from two different locations in the unit and the water came from the upstair unit and from the next door Review from Google

Oct 2018: Management office is not very good at communication. My upstairs neighbors are so loud that they shake my apartment and keep me up at night. I've been forced to use headphones at home 24/7 because I can't fall asleep at night. I had to chase management down for 2 months to try and get them to just agree to inspect (!!!) the flooring. They didn't tell me when it was "fixed" (I don't believe they did anything because the problem seemed to get worse...) and I've been trying to get them to move apartments for me - I am willing to move, the problem is so bad with the neighbors - and the PM has not called me back once. Sep 2018: It really hurts to see so many bad reviews about our wonderful community. We(the staff of Park Avenue Apartments) work hard to maintain the property and we do care especially since some of us live here on the property. Unfortunately, many of these reviews are false or fabrications from former and even some current residents who are disgruntled because they were either told "NO" about something or left their apartments in an unsanitary condition. Sep 2018: This complex is quit old, and however outside looks fine inside is leaking pipe and more problems which is the reason why someone commented the mold and healthy issue. The best is that if you live downstairs you could smoke free tobacco and fragnance from upstairs. Why? Because you are connected by AC drain pipe and only god know what the gap is. Jun 2018: I usually do not leave reviews-good or bad- but this is the exception. When I first moved here two years ago, things were great. Rent very affordable, quiet and enough stores around to keep me happy. But the past year, management has gotten worse, they don't clean outside much at all, drainage problems so anytime it rains just a little the entire complex is flooded. Not to mention most recently, their termite problem that they knew about but neglected to inform any of its residents! My lease is paid through August but there is no way in hell I am staying here that long. Review from Google

Jun 2018: The worst apartment till date. If you like the company of insects and roaches you are welcome here. The place is trash and paradise for insect lovers. There is no security gate , anybody can walk right in. I am serious, If you decide on coming here you are putting your health at serious risk. Will soon upload pictures and everything. May 2018: I could have given this complex 3 star, but because I found some other much better places in the area so that 2 star was quite reasonable. The pool and the gym were small and not so well kept. The rent and living expense were not as affordable as some other apartments, while the something like kitchen, washer, and dryer were all small and old. However, the location was the biggest plus for this place. It was pretty comfortable as there were many stores and market like Starbucks and Publix within walking distance. The school bus stopped right at the gate. Review from Google

May 2018: Have lived here for the past 3 yrs. First year not bad. 2nd and 3rd, getting increasingly annoying. I'm paying for a 3 bdrm for no reason. I have my daughter her husband and babies sleeping in the living room because every time it rains , the water goes into their bdrm. Now there is a smell of mold. I can not have my grandsons sleeping in that rm. If I wanted a 2 bdrm I could get that much cheaper than this ridiculously expensive apt. They increase the rent every year, for what? They don't do anything. Residents move in and in less than 6 months they move out. I did not want to give any stars, they do not deserve the one. Review from Google

Mar 2018: I donâ€™t understand why this apartment complex has such bad reviews. Iâ€™ve been living here for almost a year and have nothing but positive things to say. The management has been incredibly helpful. On the rare occasion that I call maintenance, theyâ€™ve come literally hours later. It is super affordable. Iâ€™m a student at USF and was worried about partying and loud music. I barely hear my neighbors. I love this complex and I would resign my lease if I wasnâ€™t relocating. Review from Google

Feb 2018: Staying for 11 months now- Pros- 1) Location-5 stars,Publix at walking distance(3 mins walk),Qdoba(3 mins walk),MOSI,Chik-fil-a,Perkins,USPS store,mobile store,CVS,walgreens everything 5 mins distance apart. 2)Maintenance- 5 stars(I made many service requests & each time they make a visit to fix stuff within 1-2 days(i guess everymonth i put some request)),only once they didnt had a particular tubelight so it took 4-5 days. 3)Rent is way cheap than other apartments 4) Everyday i see a guard on moving duty after 8pm 5)Events- they did Christmas,some game night,Halloween celebrations 6)Parking-ample space,no restrictions on space markations 7)Water is included in rent Cons:1)Not gated Review from Google
