Dec 2016: Seemed okay at first. Kitchen needs updating badly, the puke gray cabinets are god awful. But what is making us move is the lack of care from the property manager. We complained about one of our neighbors who would have her boyfriend living with her and he'd take up a visitor space. This bothered us only because parking is very hard to get if your a visitor, your visitor is technically only allowed to be here 14 times in a year and to live here you need a background check which he did not since he clearly had no resident sticker on his car or keys. We told the property manager who informed us that this is something she knew about for a long time yet did nothing about.

Dec 2016: i lived there for 4 years. i loved that it had hardwood floors, washer/dryer in the unit, pet friendly, and screened in balcony. my neighbors through out the years were quiet, i never had any problems. the office was always very helpful and things were fixed in a timely manner. i never had any bug problems.
Towards the end of my lease, parking became a HUGE issue! If you do not have a sticker on your car or are not parked in a visitor's spot YOU WILL BE TOWED!!! And, there are usually not enough visitor spots to go around. Something to keep in mind if you have guests.

May 2016: Horrible place - worst administration ever. Infested with roaches and they accept anyone making you concern with your safety. I lived there 6 months and I am out. The neighbor is a party pot head and they never attended the complains, I ended up being the one leaving. Please save your money and time and don't ever rent here. Parking is horrible. A few visitor spots about 20 for the whole complex and the tow every night about 10 pm during the week and 1 am on weekends.

Dec 2015: My daughter has been living here for close to a year and it is a great, safe development that is conveniently located to USF and 75. Also, the staff has been very helpful and has gone above beyond on more than one occasion. Thumbs up!!

Sep 2015: This place is horrible. The place is not up to date and alot of the pipes are old. When called to fix something they say they fix it but nothing is really fixed. Also when moving out they were given our new address and numbers and they never contacted us if anything way wrong. TlBe careful when moving out...make sure you get them to sign that everything is alright...because they will not tell you till it is late.

Sep 2015: Only lived in this place for a few weeks and have already had to call code enforcement regarding the roach infestation problem. They came to spray and only sprayed the kitchen!! Our trash is even kept outside and taken out every day. Code enforcement has done an inspection and opened a case on them. The office staff is just like the review you have seen. Some seem helpful and some .......
If it could be done all over again this would not be a choice at all!!! Renter beware. According to the city of Tampa this was not the first time code enforcement has been called There is or was a case opened on them before.

My number one biggest problem with this apartment complex besides having a bunch of unruly kids running around the pool is the fact that my dog has repeatedly gotten fleas since living here. She had NEVER had a single pest problem until we moved here. My guess is that she has gotten them from the 10 or so stray cats that everyone in my building thinks its okay to feed.

Apr 2015: Having been in the military for the past 10 years, I have lived all over the world, and aside from Europe, I would have to say that Hidden Palms Apartments are by far one of the greatest places I have ever lived. From the amazing pool and hot tub to the wonderful apartments itself down to even the staff itself, simply amazing.
I like the fact that even though it's in a college area, you don't have to deal with the craziness of out of control, college students. Being a single father and a man of structure, I felt secure in the screening process that is done with every applicant, lets me know that my child can walk around with no worries. At first I was concerned because no security Guard on property, but after living here, it's clear to see it's simply not needed.
Review from 4/22/2015 on Apartment RatingsApr 2015: I have lived at Hidden Palms for over two years, after I sold my home and needed to find a place close to the USF campus. Moving from a 2,000sq.ft. home to a 700sq.ft. apartment was quite the adjustment. Here are my thoughts.
Location: Hard to beat. I can walk or bike to my office on campus in 20 minutes or less. 75 and 275 are about 5 miles away. Target, Publix, Petsmart...all within an easy drive.
Maintenance: Really fabulous. My maintenance issues have always been resolved very quickly, usually within 24-48 hours for non-emergency situations.
