Nov 2019: I am so very pleased with these apartments and what I saw!!! Giovanna was the person who helped me (I hope i spelled that right).. she took me to view their model unit and it was beautiful, great decor, very beautiful apartment. I was in love! I will definitely be coming back and somerset is definitely #1 on my list. I hope she’s there when I come back! Also honorable mention to assistant manager Giovanna for her professionalism. The outlay of the apartments may not look impressive but the inside view was quite impressive. For those who like it quiet then you’re going to have to deal with the ongoing traffic from the interstate. But otherwise the apartments appeared ok. There is a pool onsite BUT it’s not in use and hasn’t been in a while. This amenity would be nice IF they took time to get it up to par. There is a pond directly behind the leasing office with swans where fishing is allowed; and a soccer park. Oh and it is also pet friendly with a fee and of course certain breed restrictions. Nov 2018: I've lived in Somerset Apartments for 1year now I have a 2bdrm 1bth its very nice and cozy and spacious i love the interior and the fact that they have been renovating the outer area. The staff is helpful and sweet the office woman are great and very understanding. Instead, we go outside and see all the lights turn on automatically, STILL NO CAMERAS. Not even 3 days ago, his brother's Moped got stolen. A MOPED, something that requires 3 people to carry. They NEED to STOP BEING CHEAP and think about people's Property, Peace, and Safety!! Even one of their Maintanence Men had his phone stolen while on the job. I feel like this place is for a sit down, but don't STAY. Until this place starts caring about people, all that you will see are cops always coming over for things being reported stolen. Leave NOTHING unchained/outside. #SorryNOTSorry

Tatiana has been very professional, friendly & courteous throughout the whole process. I actually owed a previous landlord & Tatiana worked with me in getting my application approved. When I theory for maintenance they come, when I have concerns they adresd they. But the few repairs they have done without notifying the tenants has been a problem. A few we have been notified but I recieve an email about when repairs would began and I was woken up a day before with noise of repairs I wasn't informed about. My power went out 3 days in a row sure to repairs and recieve notice 10 mins before only 1 out of the 3 that took place. Consideration to let us know a day before so we can prepare for it. I transferred into my new unit at the beginning of November (been here for about 2 weeks) and my toilet has stopped working three times. The toilet overflows and water comes out of the tub and gets all over the floor. Then the maintenance men take all day to come check it out. I can’t use my bathroom for the whole day being that here is only one (where else am I supposed to use the bathroom?). The staff is not very responsive when it comes to fixing things around your house. There are roaches. Even though I’ve been here for two weeks I have seen them a few times. And even at my old unit there were roaches everywhere. They are supposed to come and spray but they are right back by the end of the week. Review from 4/28/17 on GoogleOct 2016: If I could rate this place zero starS then I would , When I first originally moved in it was on a Friday , I guess the ROACHES moved in with me also. the next day I called to the front office to complain about it "Oh we will have someone come out and spray" at the time my son was going on the age of 2. I couldn't even leave his food out to cool down with out coming back and seeing 4-5 roaches laying in the bowl. The air conditioner DOES NOT work at all, NEVER HAVE& NEVER WILL they always come and fix it and break down two days later. my Son has Asthma so that was always a problem being so hot in my apartment. PLUMBING F****ING SUCKS HERE .

Review from 5/9/16 on GoogleFeb 2016: I was going to give this place 4 star but then the manager showed up and ruined everything. I moved to Charlotte NC from El Paso TX.. Yes, a 23 hour drive. I had called Somerset to see if I could reserve an apartment which she replied "you can only reserve in person" which was fine I understand. She did put my name on the apartment which was great. I show up and give her all the paperwork she asked for including money orders for deposit and fees. She says she will run my credit and let me know. She calls 3 days later and says everything checks out and we are just waiting for the apartment to be cleaned. Ok, again no problem.
