Aug 2015: I have lived here for two years. The maintenance staff is prompt, professional, and friendly especially Coltrane super sweet guy. The office staff is wonderful as well. I moved here because it was all that was available due to the time of year and its 5 miles away from UNC Campus. I have stayed because it is a very nice place to be. It is close to shopping, bus lines, Anderson park, UNC hospital, and nice neighbors. I would recommend Ridgewood apartments for sure.

Not only she manage the property, she does maintenance repairs as well! Great personality.....really recommend Ridgewood! Great price, great location, very quiet! I feel safe here. Have not seen no bugs since move to this place!

Sep 2014: I'm a graduate student at UNC who moved to Ridgewood about 2 months ago. The apartments are old and look like they were built over 20 years ago. Although, I like the fact any maintenance issues I have in my apartment get fixed the same day and the staff are all very friendly. When I first moved in I did experience a small roach problem and after addressing it to the staff and following their steps I have managed to keep them away. The property quiet, the location is very convenient, and for the price it's not all that bad!

Sep 2014: The roaches in this complex are overwhelming, along with a host of other flies and mysterious insects that I have encountered since living here for less than 6 months. I encountered a slew of maintenance issues when I first arrived and it seems like every other day something else breaks down or needs tending to. I would not waste my time or money on these small, outdated, bug infested apartments. I wish I would have been forewarned before I got trapped here.
