Oct 2019: Good apartment for good price. Love the location, close to the lightrail and catching the campus connector buses for classes. The only complaints I would have is the appliances are not super updated but work okay, and I live on the first floor and can hear walking upstairs above me frequently. Overall I like it and would recommend it if you want somewhere budget friendly and easy access to campus!! Review from Google Jul 2019: The community is kind and the rooms are convenient for sharing. Situated at a convenient location for the students. Review from Google May 2019: Easily the worst place to live on campus. Far away from all classes, dated appliances, and absolutely the worst internet connection ever. They said they would fix the connection speed about 4 times over the semester but it got progressively worse. At the end of the year I could barely connect to any network. Overall very bad experience. Review from Google May 2019: Easily the worst place to live on campus. Far away from all classes, dated appliances, and absolutely the worst internet connection ever. Don’t come here Review from Google Jul 2018: Lived here for 2 years on the non-university side, and the people in the office were so helpful and friendly! Review from Google Feb 2018: University Village is the best apartment I have lived at. The management team is exceptionally professional and understanding. Maintenance was prompt on every request. The community of people are very kind. I really especially appreciate the management team for being willing to work with you on any issues that may arise. Moving is easy here with the bins and elevators which I appreciate. There’s an abundance of amenities for your needs! I would highly recommend living here. Review from Google Feb 2018: If you don't find joy in sleeping and can tolerate the bass dropping music that penetrates the paper thin walls in this living area, then this is the place for you. Review from Google Dec 2017: Rent is way too high for what they offer and supervisor provides incorrect information and is not alway available when she should be.
The appliances in the apartment are dated and break down very often.
WiFi is terrible and only works well, 60% of the time. Review from Google Oct 2017: I have lived in University Village apartment for a year and this was the best apartment ever in UMN campus!
The management team always remember your requests and needs and they are always responsive! Plus, they are so kind and thoughtful!
I didn't want to leave them!
Unfurnished/ furnished option with extra charge, all utilities were included, the unit was very spacious (room, walk-in closet, living room, kitchen, and bathroom) water pressure was awesome and it was nice location since it was about 3-minute walk to Stadium Village light rail platform. And there are several bus stops nearby ( 1 to 3 minutes walk)
Review from 10/2/17 on Google Aug 2017: Great management with good understanding of our plight. Stayed with my husband and baby.. The few maintenance issues we had were fixed promptly by the nice maintenance staff.. Overall will recommend it anyone.
Review from 8/3/17 on Google Jun 2017: My original review was so long Google told me to edit, that's how upset I am with this place! Overall the apartments are fine, and the rent WAS relatively fair. But if you're thinking of renting from here don't expect even a modicum of customer service. The rooms are nice within the apartment itself, but the appliances are dated. We often had trouble with our toilet, dishwasher, sink, and washing machine leaking. Often the maintenance cew would come in ans help us (friendly and nice people) but it would take multiple trips for them to successfully stop leaking. We used our own tools to fix things ourselves when they didn't show up and/or didn't fix the issue the first time around. Plumbing issues were freqent annoyances.
Furthermore, nobody ever works in the office at the designated times. They'll notify you when they're closing the office ear Review from Google May 2017: Dont apply here. Office/ management will not help you at all if you're trying to get out of a lease. $70/month for parking isn't that bad except housing is unfurnished. I have been trying to have someone take over my lease since January (I moved out then, still paying) and the staff will give zero resources to help you. Everything has to be done yourself. doesn't sound bad but they won't even mention your apartment available if someone asks. Same with the parking. It should be no hassle at all, but they want your money.
Review from 5/23/17 on Google Apr 2017: I live on the West side. The best maintenance staff. They are so friendly and fix everything on time. It feels like home here.
Review from 4/29/17 on Google Sep 2016: The best place around the campus. The stuff are awesome. The office members are supportive and they always exist to help. More than satisfied. Review from 9/13/16 on Google
