Apr 2018: Zach is the best leasing agent I have ever worked with! Highly recommend!! He made the experience SO enjoyable. Review from Google Apr 2018: I have not had a positive experience at the Venue at Dinkytown. I have lived here since august 2017, and plan on moving out as soon as my lease is up. I am a first year medical student at the U. My dishwasher has been out for 2 months (its monthly utilities price is pre-factored into the rent, which I am told I cannot get a refund for) and despite the maintenance crew visiting my apartment several times (usually a week after I put in the request) it is still not working. The building is pretty unhygienic/unclean - the back stairwell always has some vomit and or trash on the carpet (gets cleaned maybe once every few months), and I once found blood smears on the wall outside my apartment. The back stairwell railings are frequently broken off, and the ends have nails sticking out. I also have a long-distance boyfriend of four years, he stayed wit Review from Google Apr 2018: Charging both of my kids $100 more per month next year than their current published rates. My kids were on top of things and signed early. They then lowered their pricing for new residents, but not for my kids. Review from Google Mar 2018: Very nice apartment, in middle of twin cities. Great amenities Review from Google Mar 2018: I would recommend this property to a friend. Management is nice, quick, and reliable. Great neighborhood. Mar 2018: Great location near the light rail and wide variety of restaurants. Private bedroom and bathroom for a great price. The in-unit washer and dryer is VERY convenient. The kitchen is spacious and furniture is in good condition. The service staff is fast and does a good job. Review from Google Mar 2018: Convenient location if you study at UMN. The building got its own little gym, 24/7 pharmacy (I use it as a convenience store). It is called "Station" for a reason, since it is located right next to the East Bank light rail station.
Reasonable rent cost, particularly considering the location of the building. Timely swift, responsive and effective maintenance services. No rodents or insects. The building is being kept immaculate. The staff is friendly and responsive to your inquires regarding the building experience. Review from Google Mar 2018: The Arrow was formerly known as Prime Place and now they are trying to dump the bad publicity with a name change. don't be fooled though, they are still just as bad. Take everything they say with the biggest grain of salt possible. When they started reneging on leases in august last year at the absolute last moment everything they told us had been a lie. Every week they would send out emails filled to the brim with lies about the progress of the apartment. Also the thing that worse is they really aren't that better price-wise for what you end up getting. The apartment was rushed to completion so its low quality and everything is very small. The price tag may be okay now but once they establish themselves and get suckers to lease with them, you can bet that rent will start bumping up until its similar to places like Sol Haus or U Commons. Save Review from Google Mar 2018: I’m super excited to live here next fall. The tour was awesome we were able to see a ton of different floor plans. The lease was very easy to fill out and Blake made all of our accommodations come true! It is close to campus, updated appliance and friendly staff! Review from Google Mar 2018: Solhaus Tower deleted their reviews for this property. Beware! Review from Google Mar 2018: I’ve both worked and lived at The Station on Washington and I can’t say how great of a community it is! All staff members are extremely kind, cheerful, and eager to help answer any question or resolve any problem that arises. As a student, the community itself as well as its location couldn’t be better- the building is safe, clean, and even has a great workout room! In addition, being close to campus and the metro saves me so much time- I love it here! Review from Google Feb 2018: I found the arrow on google and that's why I wanted to write a review over here.I am extremely happy I moved in to the apartment.. This is a perfect solution for international students who do not want to buy any furniture but still want to have a really nice place. All the furniture is included and most of the work orders are done withing hours. I have lived in the arrow for 1 year and I would still be here if it wasn't because my academic program is over. The staff is great and really helpful Review from Google Jan 2018: The two bedroom apartment is incredible! It's nice having a washer/dryer and great space in the bathrooms for a closet. The workout room was a bonus with a variety of equipment with the perfect view to outside. The location is very convenient with a short walk to campus and restaurants. The windows let the perfect amount of natural light in allowing us to relax and enjoy the day. I was VERY impressed with the management and staff. They are attentive to our needs and very accommodating! I would recommend The Arrow apartments to anyone looking for a single or double room! Review from Google Jan 2018: University Commons is a great place! I have lived here for a year and a half now. Great location (close to school & light rail in less than 5 min walk), affordable price (utility fees are very reasonable as well. I only paid about an average of $5), fully furnished with gym facilities, and really nice staffs. Depending on the room you are assigned, it can be slightly noisy at night because of the highway but that also makes your way back home feel safer. No need to walk through a small dodgy roads on your way from school. And compared to other places like Dinky Town, it is definitely quiet and safe. The maintenance staffs are also very nice and respond relatively quick to your orders (compared to some other places I lived in). I'd certainly recommend to others looking for a place in a walking distance from school, fully furnished, with a reaso Review from Google Jan 2018: This is a great place to live. It is the perfect location- it is close enough to campus and transportation but the slight distance makes it very quiet which is always very nice. The staff is extremely helpful and is very attentive. The gym is convenient and the free printing and other amenities that the apartment has to offer are incredible. I would highly recommend living here. Review from Google Jan 2018: Well-maintained amenities, great student life and atmosphere. Work orders are attended to within a timely manner and the front desk has great hours. Study room is slightly on the smaller end but it provides free printing services (paper not included) which is super convenient and makes all the difference.
One thing that would make the University Commons experience much better would maybe be the addition of a bus stop nearer the area. Review from Google Jan 2018: University Commons is a great place to live if you're a student at any of the surrounding schools! The location is wonderful, being right next to Hwy 94 and the Metro Green Line for transportation, a short walk from campus, and a bunch of food options within close proximity! The management is very helpful and want the best for each resident, I haven't had any issues with them or maintenance. The quality of the apartment is really good for the price I am paying, and everyone is so friendly! definitely recommend. Review from Google Jan 2018: I’ve lived here for almost a year now and have signed to live here again next year. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and love all the events they plan for us including resident bingo and holiday events! We also have had a great experience with the maintenance staff helping us out with any issues promptly! I also love the gym here compared with other apartments in the area because it is bigger and cleaner. Lastly the front desk staff is always so friendly and willing to answer any questions! 😊 Review from Google Jan 2018: My boyfriend and I live at 22 on the River and moved in last August. We are SO happy with the apartment, especially the location and its quality of living. It's located right off the Mississippi River (the views during fall are spectacular!) and is within walking distance to Saint Paul. While it's so close to both twin cities, it's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown, which I love! I also love how dog-friendly it is--no size or breed restrictions; many of the tenants are dog owners. While we don't yet own a dog, we are excited to get one knowing how dog friendly it is here.
The only downsides I have with 22 on the River are the high rent and parking. The parking garage as well as the parking lot next to the building are both full and there are waiting lists to get in...bummer! Rent is so high, but you get what you pay for. Review from Google Jan 2018: Great Staff, Great Service and Great Location!
Regardless of where you're going in the Twin Cities you're never too far away. Nice units and great amenities yield comfortable quality living. Review from Google Jan 2018: Junction Flats and it’s manager, Corey, are superb. Location, amenities, and floor plans can’t be beat. Add in the 5-Star service from the staff and it’s the clear winner in North Loop. Review from Google Jan 2018: Spacious apartments, great view of the city.
Located a little close to the freeway, but there's one of those sound barrier walls that keeps some of the noise out.
They lobby is always kept clean, as are the elevators. Halls are generally quite, too. There aren't many other tall buildings around, so there are a lot of great views of the Minneapolis skyline. Jan 2018: Brent is by far the most tenant oriented person that has worked here in our time living here. He always answers questions and makes sure any issues are resolved in a timely manner. He is always friendly and greets everyone when he sees them, something that you do not always get in larger apartment buildings. It makes all the difference. Review from Google Nov 2017: Lived in Yale Place down the block from Thornton. I was there for a year with no issue. Kristin, the property manager, is direct, to the point, but more importantly she does here job well and treats people with respect. The build was nothing special but for the price you will not find anything better as rent is significantly lower then one bedrooms in Minneapolis. Additionally, rent payment, maintenance request, etc can all be handled online which is very convenient. Whenever I had a maintenance request/issue it was handled immediately. As long as you truely read through the lease agreement you will not be surprised when it comes time to move out. I highly recommend Yale Place to anyone looking for a simple, no nonsense one bedroom in a great neighborhood right off the Mississippi river. Nov 2017: Lived in this place for a year and was pretty pumped when the lease was over. Totally overpriced for what you are getting. This place advertises that they are "close to U of MN campus, bus routes and downtown." None of those things are very close. To walk to the outskirts of campus, it's at least a 20 minute walk then add whatever other time you need to get to where you need to get to on campus. The lightrail is like a 20 minute walk as well depending on the stop you trying to get to and there really is no useful bus stops around in the area. Downtown is close if you have a car but its not like you can get up and walk there without some serious planning. This place boasts about having "Luxury amenities" however the work out facility is small, the continental breakfast is a joke (advertises 6AM-9AM but all the food is gone before 8AM) and the d Review from Google
