They have drawings actives for the residents a great place to live close to the U of M the Green line. But really the people who work here make this place a home and a success. But I feel the walls is a thin so you can hear the neighbor if they are screaming really loud Review from Google Jan 2018: The location is convenient for students who take green line and school bus. It is a safe and quiet area. Office staff are friendly and happy to help. Lindsey Drooger is my FAVORITE employee and one in the five stars I give to this apartment are for her help! Review from Google Jan 2018: Before sign the lease they were very nice but after that, they turn to little bitches they can be little nice with their residents. you will see them reply to this comment in a nice way but that doesn't reflect the reality. go rent from someone that respects you. this is just my advice and my experience with 44north. Review from Google Nov 2017: Had great service with really honest and engaging employees! The signing process was easy and they took all my concerns and questions seriously as a first time lessee. I can't wait to live here! Review from Google Oct 2017: 44 North is such a lovely place to live! Our unit is in excellent condition and is locate a quick walk from two light rail stations. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. They made signing a lease simple while also making sure my questions were answered. 44 North has been by far the best housing experience I've had near the U of M campus! Review from Google Oct 2017: I have already lived in 44 North for a couple of years, and my experience has always been wonderful. The place is well designed and fully furnished with a good affordable price for students. Plus it is close to two of the light rail stops. And something that this place used to be missing is a great staff but ever since the current management has taken over, it's been nothing but fun, nice and helpful!
Review from 10/4/17 on Google Oct 2017: Overall a nice place to live. Currently the road construction and activity at the MAST laboratory can be a bit disruptive, but it's not too difficult to get used to. Facilities are clean and high in quality. Lots is provided within the buildings. Rooms are well furnished and in good position. The occasional community events are also very enjoyable!
Review from 10/3/17 on Google Sep 2017: So far my experience at 44 North has been a good one. It is a great place for students - close to the U and light rail station, great facilities, helpful and friendly staff. The staff here did the best they could to help me with my Internet connection issues and I was able to get an early move-in that fitted my schedule. would recommend this clean and safe community to others looking for a nice apartment.
Review from 9/27/17 on Google Sep 2017: Renter Beware!!! My son leased from this apartment last year. When we were looking at these we couldn't look at his exact apartment we had to just assume we would like it based on a little map on a brochure. Also we couldn't find out anything about his roommate until they moved in. It wasn't a good fit but cant change apartments with out hefty "fees". Then when it came time to move out, we couldn't trust his roommates would clean anything so we cleaned the entire apartment since we are 1/4 financially responsible for all the renters and their actions. Everything was cleaned EXCEPT we left up the shower curtains and they charged $25 to remove it! I would not recommend this apartment.
Review from 9/20/17 on Google Sep 2017: I got a 1bed-1bath standard room and so far I am extremely happy with the place. Everything in the apartment (furniture, appliances and interior finishes) are very modern and well maintained, so you can definitely expect the exact same thing you see on pictures. The staff has always great attitude and are very helpful, so no complaints there. I was little worried that the apartment was going to be small but it actually is very spacious, especially if its going to be only 1 person, personally its more space than I need.
Review from 9/13/17 on Google Sep 2017: I've lived at a 2B2B apartment (modified from a 4B2B design) for my first year in Minneapolis. I moved out to live by myself, as the studios at 44 North are beyond my budget. Though some minor issues impede half star, overall, living at 44 North was a great experience.
- The apartment was well-furnished and the appliances were function well.
- The private area was spacious and the roommate matching was well-done!
-Compared with many other apartment buildings along Washington Avenue, this 2B2B unit at 44 North has smaller dining/living room, and more space goes to the private bedrooms. This gives privacy and hedges the risk of being unable to become friends with the roommate assigned.
-The roommate matching was not a void procedure. We did become friends.
Review from 9/8/17 on Google Aug 2017: I lived here for a summer in a one-bedroom and could not have been happier with my experience. The apartments are pretty nice—nothing spectacular but more than get the job done, and are fully furnished. The staff was always super helpful and nice, and accommodating of special requests. The amenities are also great, with common study spaces and lounges. The location is also fantastic, a short 3 min walk to the lightrail station and close to many restaurants as well.
