Aug 2019: Old ownership started going downhill in 2018 as you can see from other reviews. Now Point West has new owners and completely new staff. Seem to actually be worse somehow. I try not to to leave one star reviews but from a real estate perspective, this might just be one of my personal worst landlord experiences for me. After growing up around my family business in real estate and residential building and currently being a landlord myself, I found myself here at PW for a short stay.
A couple things you might notice from the buildings construction:
Dated cabinets, carpet, paint, bathrooms and no ceiling fans in many units. Pool causes numerous medical problems to tenants. The pool surface has not been refinished. Deck needs to be torn off and reconstructed. Community area with grills are also dated and not maintained. Trash dumpsters are often overfilled and are parked outside many tenants front door step Review from Google

Sep 2018: Horrible staff! They are sexists. They are only nice to the male tenants. Are you insecure of your beautiful tenant?! They should really check the pool because I had skin infection after swimming. Well I've seen couple of frogs partying there on rainy days. There was also a hole under the sink that cockroaches from neighbor wanted to greet me once in awhile. I can also hear the noises from all types of cars to the ambulances and I'm not even close to the main road. They have a bad painting job. They only paint certain areas but not the doors. Poor materials that they use to build this apartment complex that I can even hear my neighbors loud conversation. How can they even get a 5 stars review?!... Hmmmmm fishy! Aug 2018: I feel lucky to have found Point West. It's a great location and has everything you need if you're looking to live affordably. The buildings are older, but in my experience they have been clean and very workable for what you pay. Responses to maintenance have been prompt.
Again, such a great location at a great price. And in my experience, management and the front desk are accessible and accountable to keep things in working order!
Only con may be that laundry is not in your apartment. But again, at the price I'm able to pay, it's been a willing "sacrifice". Review from Google
