Jun 2019: Its actually awful to live here. The biggest problem is the Wi-Fi. I literally cannot google search things most times of the day while on Ethernet. If you play games, hopefully you enjoy playing offline because good luck connecting to multiplayer lobbies or sessions. The RAs are terrible, AC is literally either freezing cold or way too hot, and the refrigerators are moldy and usually dont have working ice machines or water dispensers. Two chairs in our apartment have broken by just sitting on them. It may look nice when you see it on tour, but it is honestly not worth it at all. All of the money spent on this place goes directly to the Jewish center on the second floor, which has an ipad controlled movie theatre, rather than to students apartments who need working fridges and lights. Sure you get your own room and bathroom, but you literally sacrifice all other comforts for that. Do yourself a favor and dont make the same mistake I did, cannot wait to be moving out in a month Review from Google

Jun 2019: The fire alarm goes off all the time in the middle of the night for no reason with no explanation. Also the WiFi literally never works and hasn't been fixed. When I moved in the floor was so dirty it would turn your feet black, the walls and furniture were both in terrible condition, never replaced or fixed. Elevator always out of service, got stuck in it before. The smoke alarm in your room will go off if you try to turn on the heat. Review from Google
Jun 2019: The only reason I could recommend anyone live here is if they would have to pay $0 out of pocket. It looks like a nice place, and for student housing it's really nice. But if you need internet for any aspect of your life, the speeds here are abhorrent and nothing has been done about it in the year that I've lived here. The refrigerators that they supply don't hold temperature, so everything goes bad and the water dispenser grows mold inside of it, needing to be taken apart for cleaning. The parking garage is very narrow and I see near collisions almost every day. If you're looking for apartment style on-campus housing, Towers is probably where you should look. Review from Google
Jun 2019: Northview does not give you your money's worth. WiFi is absolutely abysmal where it stops working at the slightest of movements and maintenance has not been helpful with that. There are no lights on the ceiling of the living room area and the couches that come in the living room area are stained and dirty. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from across the apartment and even from across the hall. The good thing about Northview that it is very safe; your ID is required to get into almost every place inside the building which may be considered an inconvenience for some. There is a shuttle service that takes you on campus but it runs very slowly. There was no roommate matching system either, you are paired with random people and in my case, turned out to be a terrible experience as they were absolutely inconsiderate. Northview is an apartment style dorm so you do have your own bedroom and bathroom but for the amount you are paying, if this is what you want then there are much cheaper off-campus options Review from Google
May 2019: The wifi on the top floors is slow and will disconnect at times. It is not enjoyable to do homework unless you are working in the study room on the 7th floor. Review from Google
Apr 2019: The fire alarm goes off all the time in the middle of the night for no reason and they won’t fix it. Also the WiFi sucks. Review from Google
Dec 2018: Worst place to live ever. When I moved in, the entire place was dirty and many things were broken. We had ruined couches, a dishwasher that wasn’t bolted in, food particles all over the kitchen, hair in the bathroom, scuffs all over the walls and floors, stains on the furniture, and just an overall awful smell. Our ruined couches took 2 months to replace and we’re replaced with uncomfortable couches that are super cheap. For such an expensive place, you should get a lot more. Also during our time our fridge went out. We lost hundreds of dollars in food because they wouldn’t replace our broken fridge with the working fridge in the show room. No one needs a working fridge in a show room. Also, the WiFi is AWFUL. It’s finals week and I can’t even load my class PowerPoints. I did an internet speed test and it’s literally 1.3 download. Nov 2018: Wifi is consistently under 5 mb/s and has reach a peak speed of 14 mb/s (both are terrible). Several serious health concerns upon move in that did not get fixed until week 12 of the fall semester. This place makes me sick, no one is here to help and you are paying top dollar ($856/month for 4/4 loft). Do not live here. Do your research. Towers isn't as luxurious but it is prime location, private bathrooms and bedrooms, large beds, and has a kitchen in the unit. Also, consider off-campus housing. You can get in an absolutely BEAUTIFUL unit off-campus for 800 and under. Housing that is managed by the University is typically way over priced, which I was not aware of until after I had moved in and started looking for places for next year. But seriously, Northview is absolutely terrible.
Sep 2018: It is a nice place! We have our own rooms and an individual bathroom! For 4000USD per semester it will be worth it! We also have our own gyms, pool table, table tennis and pool! Review from Google
Sep 2018: Hands down the best living option at or around UCF. I believe it is worth the money -- private room with private bathroom and closet, a full kitchen with granite counter tops, a huge TV and couches, and a washer in dryer in the unit. The amenities are great too, the parking garage, mail center, and even though the gym was very small I still got the most out of it. It was so convenient parking in a garage and on the floor I live on -- I walked 10 feet to my apartment door. I miss that so much now that I had to move out. I never had any noise issues in the year I lived here. I couldn't hear a thing from my neighbors and there were only about 2 or 3 alarms that went off and only one was at 3am, others were in the middle of the day or planned. However if you are trying to get some sleep and your roommates are in the common areas it can get loud. Review from Google
Jul 2018: Lived here for 2 years and I highly recommend for students that can afford it (pretty pricey, esp by dorm standards). The maintenance staff was awesome during my time here. Fun guys that were always quick to help and sometimes even repaired things we didn't think to ask about (left us a kind note stating that he fixed squeaky doors he noticed, etc.). Some of the rules are annoying, but that's just UCF standard dorm rules (RAs often locked my door after a room check while I wasn't home, sometimes locking me out of my room for example. You use just your ID and a pin to get in so I never carried physical keys while there). There's a shuttle service for use and the campus is so close, you can still bike/walk if you so desire. The WiFI did have frequent spotty issues while living there, which was obnoxious, but overall I could deal with it since I Review from Google
May 2018: Roommates sucked, until my friend moved in. WiFi is terrible. No visitor parking. Not the best RAs. The rooms are pretty, but not worth it. My roommates were so unbearable I only slept in my room, everything else I tried to be somewhere else. Review from Google
Oct 2017: Hands down the best place to live for student housing around the UCF area. I absolutely wish I could move here again after graduating. Superb maintenance staff and SUPER clean. In my 3 years of staying here I don’t think I saw a single insect or roach in my apartment. The only con I can think of is the occasional random fire alarm going off in the middle of the night but other than that everything was fine. I didn’t realize how nice I had it here at Northview until I moved to Plaza on University! Don’t ever go there! Review from Google
Sep 2017: The fire alarm constantly goes off at 3 am. If you have morning classes, I don't suggest this place. There has also been a issue with the alarm going off during the day off & on. Which is really annoying. Review from Google
Sep 2017: Power never went down during Irma. 10/10 would give a kidney to live here again. Review from Google
Jun 2017: Worst place to get some sleep. They had 2 fire drills in less than 1 month and both fire drills happened at 3 a.m. Not caring if you have work or school the next morning. don't come here Review from Google
Jun 2017: Where to start! Yes the amenities are nice, but you can't use the pool past 10 pm and it's almost always cold because of the way the building doesn't allow much sunlight on it. The couches we have are disgustingly stained, the table legs are just about broken, and the stairs are a death trap waiting to happen. The first few weeks we were here we didn't have ice because the ice maker was broken, the tv took forever to try to set up. There are metal gates downstairs that are constantly slamming in the middle of the night that you can hear all the way up to the 5th floor. The RAs are nice enough but you never see them much. Maintenance walks in and out when they want and so does housekeeping at the end of semesters. Maintenance comes in every week to check your fire alarms and usually comes straight in without knocking. My roommate was in the shower and a maintenance
Mar 2017: Walking distance to the football stadium and publix. Shuttle service takes you on campus.Parking is amazing. Rooms are personal as well as bathroom with enough storage area. Kitchen and living room with a good view. Washer and dryer are very helpful. Staff is always ready to help with anything. Review from Google
Mar 2016: I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative. This is the BEST possible ucf housing you could have. For the price, you get so much. Towers is a ripoff and everything is so cheap. Northview has it's own maintenance/cleaning crew and they're great. Very friendly and if there is a problem, something can be fixed within the hour. All you have to do is tell the front desk or out in a work order. Also, everything you get is high quality in relation to any other housing. You just get SO MUCH MORE living here. The only downside is being "off campus" but it's literally a 15 min walk to get to memory mall. Or you can take the shuttle which is designated for only Northview. Anyways, live here. Tldr: it's the best housing, despite what people say. Review from 3/27/16 on Google
Dec 2015: Parking situation for guests is pathetic. Pretty much have to have your friend come outside and keycard you in. Review from 12/15/15 on Google
Nov 2015: We had a leak in the common area that would occur when it rained, were missing three chairs, and it was freezing cold. They got all the rooms filled, though, which means when I asked for a room change they told me I'd have to move to Towers, so that's midsemester packing. Review from 11/4/15 on Google
Jun 2014: This place should run for politics because it is more promise than results. The amenities seem to either be closed or broken. The walls are paper thin and the hot water seems to be heated by burning wood like in the 1500s because it sure is not doing its job for the number of people needing it. May be you are okay with these conditions because some other places are not that good either. But the price seems high so make sure to ask around for people you know who lived here and know your standards. cast your vote on your own sign the lease at the high price and you may be in for some disappointment.
