Jan 2018: I have been a resident here for 2 years and I could not have picked a better place. The location is perfect for a student who walks to class- minutes from campus and the stadium. The units are nice and the maintenance members are very quick to fix whatever issues might arise. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Review from Google Jan 2018: I have lived here for three semester and have had a good experience with this apsartment. The price is fair for the area and my interactions with the staff have been handled with professional courtesy. It is extremely close to campus which is great for students. I moved into a 4 bed/4 bath apartment which has a large kitchen/living area. The appliances are basic and outdated, but function well. The kitchen could use some renovations, but is a large area with plenty of cabinet space. There have been some renovations while I've been here. The majority of the lights are now energy efficient, which helps with not going over your electric allotment. They have also replaced all the flooring with a hardwood styled linoleum. I was placed in an apartment that the other tenants had been living in, so I can only attest to the cleanliness of my ro Review from Google Jan 2018: University Pointe has been a great place to live. If the location doesn't get you, the overall amenities will. I live in the Penthouse which has huge closets and a big kitchen for a college apartment. Management is super accommodating and there is always someone ready to help if you need it. I highly recommend this apartment complex, especially if you go to Texas Tech! Review from Google Mar 2017: I would not recommend anyone to live here. The room we got looks nothing like the model they showed us. The appliances are out dated and often have problems. We somehow always get electricity overage charge despite the fact we stopped running our AC heating and cooling. The bed frame is literally just a wooden box and the mattress is pretty much the same as the one they give you in the dorms. There is only one printer so when it is out of order you can't print. Final what I am most mad about is they started renovating the rooms in the middle of the school semester.

Review from 2/12/17 on Google Feb 2017: Living here has been a pretty good experience. It's already furnished, you have a private bathroom, and a walk in closet. Also, you're basically across the street from campus, which is really nice. My only complaints are the ridiculously high price (which is probably due to the fact that you're across the street from campus) and some of our neighbors are really noisy. Overall, I really enjoy it here.
Review from 2/7/17 on Google May 2016: From before I moved in, the management were deceiving me. They gave me multiple documents stating that i would have an apartment with a friend of mine, as well as a random roommate. in actuality, I was given two random roommates who consistently stole from me and did drugs in the apartment. I later learned that my friend was also put in a similar situation with two random roommates.
Later in the year, a maintenance worked entered our property and saw that my trash can was full. the next day, I was presented with a $100 fine directly stating that "for every bag of trash on the premises, there would be a $25 fee." This document was riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes, leading me to believe that it was created purely to address my situation and to take advantage of me.
Review from 5/16/16 on Google May 2016: I have absolutely loved living at University Pointe! Best apartment I've ever lived in! I've lived here for 2 years! I definetely think you get the most for your money! The location is great! Right behind Torchy's! I ride my bike to class and it takes about 5 min! The maintenance is great! I use the gym a lot too! It has a stair master, treadmill, weight machines, and more! There is SO MUCH STORAGE in the kitchen!! It's great! Most apartments don't have many cabinets in the kitchen, but Pointe really does! The only thing I don't like is that the wifi is slow the majority of the time!
Review from 5/3/16 on Google Apr 2016: I've lived here for a litter under a year now, and I'd say I'm pretty pleased. The apartments are bigger and nicer than I expected. The office staff are friendly and helpful. I think the worst issue was with move in. I had to come to Lubbock a whole week before I was allowed to move in here, so that was hard; I had to stay with various friends for a week and couldn't bring all my stuff up immediately. Other than that it's good. Utilities are built into the rent, so you don't have to worry about that unless you go over, which is easy to avoid. Admittedly I don't use the pool or the workout equipment or anything all that much. But what I have seen has been good.
Review from 4/29/16 on Google Dec 2015: It is in walking distance from campus. The location is perfect for grocery shopping, eating out and going to the library or Starbucks to study. The community is clean and safe. The pool and gym are great. The price is worth it with all utilities included. We have free parking lot and free computer/copy place. Maintenance is easy to access and quick. Walk-in closet, private bathrooms and the furniture are so convenient. You cannot find any communities with such a great location and amenity with this price. Highly Recommended. May 2014: PROS: Close to campus as well as several good restaurants, and the staff has always been very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff are super friendly. CONS: There are loud drunk people outside my window most nights. I've had to park on the other side of the complex several times due to poor parking layout. It's almost impossible to reach management. When my friend left, they slapped him with extra fees, but wouldn't return his calls to say what he was being charged for (once again, management can be hard to reach). I'll update this when I move out if I get slapped with unreasonable fees like a lot of people seem to be. Overall: I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone, but it's not the hell on earth that the other reviews paint it as.
Review from 5/22/2014 on Google Jan 2014: The property is really close to campus so that is a plus. Maintenance was really good but seems like sometimes they had issues but did a good job overall. Management is my big issue after living here for over 2 years. We didn't always see eye to eye but they did get things done or tried their best. Then the Main Manager and Assistant Manager changed and the property went to hell. It is like nobody even cares anymore. I used to always run into a manager walking around the property but now I only see maintenance. For the price you pay it is not worth it.
