Oct 2016: DO NOT LIVE AT THE RESERVE! YOU WILL REGRET IT! I have lived at the Reserve for 3 years. I renewed my lease twice because it was a decent place to live in. However this new year (being my 3rd) has been a dreadful experience. With new management the place is now down the drain. The employees at the office are all rude and not willing to help. If you put a work order the chances of that being done are zero. If you are lucky and maintenance does come to the apartment the situation becomes worse. Again this is now a horrible place to live in and they are no where close to being a luxurious apartment complex. I cannot wait to move out! Do not sign at this apartment complex. The Reserve does not even deserve 1 star. Do not sign at the reserve!

Jun 2016: After all the updates I love it even more! The Maintenance staff is fast & friendly. The staff is always helpful when a direct-check issue - after paying my bills on time for my 3 years here, if there is ever a 'late' see - they take great care of me :)

Apr 2016: The Reserve at West has the best amenities for the best price, and is incredibly pet friendly. The dog park is the second largest in San Marcos, and you can check out fun toys for your pets at the front desk. Everyone in the front office is always very welcoming, and tries to know you by your first name. Plus maintenance is FANTASTIC, they always come at most 24 hours after I submit a work order.

Apr 2016: All in all my living experience here has been great. I've been here during the management switch and I can't really complain. If you pay your rent on time and aren't a nuisance the staff is really nice. There are only a few things that make me somewhat aggravated.
1. In my apartment we have one of the oldest washers/dryers I've ever seen. It's loud and hard to get around. If you drop something behind it, don't even think about retrieving it, nearly impossible. The washer and dryer also frequently have issues. They are doing a lot to change the place and make it look nice, I think new washers and dryers to replace the old ones would be a great step.
2. We received a new microwave for our new equipment renovation. The microwave wasn't fitting underneath the cabinets due to the fact that we have a handicap unit.
