Jun 2017: The Elevation on Post is in a great location among the Texas hill country, situated beneath a nice canopy of trees, it presents a warm welcome to these student living apartments. What the exterior lacks in aesthetics is made up for with the newly renovated interiors. I would like to be able to tour a 3x3 model as this is what I am interested in leasing as only the 2x1 was the only one showcased. The staff was very friendly and receptive of questions. Overall, I had a nice experience and look forward to living here.
Review from 6/13/17 on Google May 2017: After looking at nine apartment complexes, Elevation Apartments stood out against some pretty great contenders. The staff were very patient and professional as I went through the application process and answered any questions that I had right then or over the phone. I appreciated that the staff were very genuine and addressed previous concerns that had happened in the past years dealing with other staff members or maintenance. Considering the new furniture/appliances installed in the rooms, the price is pretty fair. I look forward to making Elevation Apartments my home!
Review from 5/22/17 on Google May 2017: When finding an apartment in San Marcos, Elevation on Post was the complex that happened to meet all of my needs and a reasonable price of rent. I had a great experience working with staff when signing my lease, and have enjoyed all aspects of visiting the complex. can't wait to move in!
Review from 5/20/17 on Google May 2017: I currently stay here, this is the worst apartments ever! As long as I've lived here I've had horrible maintenance service. It is the middle of spring and my A/c doesn't work and they rather focus on painting parking spots then keeping the people who live here happy. I also have mildew in the cabinets of my apartments that was supposed to be taken care of months ago. I know for a fact it's not safe to live in an apartment with mildew. Last but not least we requested our dishwasher to be fixed or replaced but of course that hasn't been fixed either.
Review from 5/12/17 on Google May 2017: Elevation gives you an opportunity to create a temporary home. I am currently signing for a 2 bedroom with my boyfriend for way cheaper than any other one bedrooms in the city. AND THEY ARE NICE
Review from 5/3/17 on Google Apr 2017: Great and welcoming staff. Personable and knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions about the property and units. The complex is amazing and beautiful. There's only 5 stars but I rate this 10/10, would sign again.
Review from 4/25/17 on Google Apr 2017: I just visited Elevation on Post and I must say I am very excited to move in! Jack was our front desk advisor and he was great, he generally cared about finding what will be best for us. While me and my future roommate were checking out the premises, we asked several guests how they liked it, and didn't get a single complaint. The rooms are great and recently got renovated, with perfect floorplans for a college student. Really looking forward to moving in!
Review from 4/18/17 on Google Apr 2017: The staff was extremely helpful despite not being in their usual office due to renovations. We were able to tour the apartment and get the cost of living details within minutes. Elevation was our first stop around 2 pm. We visited 4 other apartment complexes and none compared to Elevation. We went back around 5 pm and they were willing to help. We signed our lease and are ecstatic about living there!
Review from 4/16/17 on Google Apr 2017: I am a current Resident, and I absolutely love the changes that the new management is making. In the past there was a lot of issues with Maintenance, the Office staff, and the overall quality of the apartments. But now that they have XXXX and XXXX, as well as the new Property Manager XXXX, everything has taken a turn for the better. They completely revamped the Maintenance, and the quality of work, which goes hand in hand with the quality of the apartments.
Review from 4/10/17 on Google Apr 2017: The apartment unit itself is fine. I don't have any complaints about that. Its nicer than other units I've lived in while in San Marcos. The Management is the real problem here. They constantly make amateur mistakes like paving the parking lot and blocking off too many spots so residents can't park. They don't ask you about good times for maintenance to come, they just tell you when they are coming to do things. Maintenance itself does do a timely response, but they leave sawdust and screws everywhere.
Review from 4/5/17 on Google Jan 2017: I've lived at this apartment complex for two years now and this place is a joke. The management is absolutely rude, no respect for your privacy. They have no communication and honestly they are charging way too much for what there asking. They renovated but there only making it LOOK nice. I have had my whole apartment flood on me before the beginning of this year. There is mold everywhere, I've had my dryer and washer break, my sink, the AC. And good luck getting maintenance to fix anything. I have had the worst experience living here and the past two years I've been here i have hated it. When my apartment flooded because of a broken pipe I actually got sick because the water was so dirty I had a fever of 102.
Review from 1/6/17 on Google Dec 2016: The staff is friendly all around, and they just underwent new management, so some shifts to any new system and lag might be expected. That being said, the furnishings in the apartment are nice, but I have had to submit well over 10 work orders to fix things, all of which have been addressed. Moving in none of our appliances were upgraded as promised, our front door dead bolt would not even lock, our brand new sink had chips in the enamel, my bedroom window blinds were missing the right 1/3 of the top supporting bar, our dishwasher water line got backed up, the water line for our washing machine got backed up with calcium sediment and while we were gone water got all over the floor and soaked my area carpets.
Review from 12/14/16 on Google Dec 2016: Rent has risen twice in as many years.
Management has changed 3 times in a year and a half.
And its been sold and rebought at least 3 or 4 times in the same amount of time.
Ive had a hole in my bathroom wall for over two months that has rotted all of the sheet rock leaving mold everywhere. Our dish washer has been broken for at least 6 months and bc our washer and dryer have apparently been surging for who knows how long and the wiring in these buildings is so terrible our electricity bill is around 150 every month.
Review from 12/9/16 on Google Apr 2016: I've lived at Elevation for almost 4 years and its been pretty awful. It was called Post Road Place when I first moved in and was in the process of renovating. A grand total of 5 owners have obtained and sold this property in the time frame of these 4 years, and every time a new owner would come through that meant new rules. Which ultimately led to confusion trying to keep up with each new owners policy, because the last one allowed you to pay your rent with a check but this new one is tacking on a 35 dollar processing fee and you're not getting notified of these changes until you're in the office trying to pay.
Review from 4/5/16 on Google Feb 2016: I am thankful I never moved in and here's why: We were told by the manager Nicole Campbell that an unfurnished and therefore cheaper apartment could be prepared for me and my two future roommates as well as an early move in date of August 1st. She so adamantly assured us that she could arrange the move in date for August 1st which was the most imperative aspect of the move in, that one of my roommates signed a lease. We come back to reaffirm the move in date and she blandly states that it was in fact not possible and not only did she never take the time to contact us with this important information she passed the responsibility off to another associate claiming he should have been the one to contact us.
Review from 2/27/16 on Google Jan 2016: I lived here for a year before the changing of management, which changed twice during the time I was there, and it has been a learning experience. Elevation needs to work on communication, actually wanting to help their tenants. For example, we were moving out and the apartment we had been originally moving to fell through and that meant we wouldn't be able to move into our new place till the following month. We asked for a month extension on our lease and they refused. The apartment hadn't been sold yet but their reason was that it was already on the market( FYI we were never late on our rent and were good tenants). Also, Our water doubled when they took over, it's allocated water.
Review from 1/28/16 on Google Apr 2015: Property is nice, good location. Lots of babes at the pool. don't let your friends sleep in the vacant rooms or the maintenance people will bust you and charge ridiculous $$.
