Review from 5/30/17 on Google May 2017: Great amenities, great staff, great location. My son will be living here for the next four years of his life. As a parent I am very satisfied of the professional treatment from the staff and the location to the school. This kids are spoil these days.
Review from 5/16/17 on Google May 2017: Our daughter has lived in Copper Beech for two years and absolutely loves it. The maintenance folks get there quick and take decisive action making things right again. She enjoys the atmosphere of college living at it's finest and hasn't considered living anywhere else in San Marcos. Thanks for a great experience!
Review from 5/16/17 on Google May 2017: The worst place I have ever lived. Every month there was something wrong with our apartment & we eve had to move in to the model apartment ! No one did anything to try and accommodate us until months later when they had to replace our refrigerator(after we had to throw all of our groceries away) I advise to sign somewhere else.
Review from 5/11/17 on Google May 2017: Great place if you're the hangout house. copper has plenty of space for all of my friends. Nice big kitchen that i haven't found in any other apartment. Buses are normally packed so plan on giving yourself some extra time on the way to class. Biggest downfall of this place is the trash and litter around the yards :(
Review from 5/2/17 on Google Apr 2017: Overall, Copper Beech is a great apartment complex to live in as a college student. The maintenance is quick and 24/7 if there is an emergency. The staff has all been very kind to me during different situations. And the price is great for the amount of space in each apartment!
Review from 4/27/17 on Google Apr 2017: I have lived here for nearly 2 years and have resigned for next year. Love the layout. So spacious and has a lot of storage room. Definitely has one of the biggest bedrooms compared to other apartmentmemts in SM. And if you get the 3 bedroom you get an extra common room which is amazing when you have people visiting. Great location being right off of 35, makes it easy to get to and out of without dealing with traffic from Aquarian. Needs to improve visitor parking but overall I enjoy living here.
Review from 4/25/17 on Google Apr 2017: This is the 3rd apartment complex I have lived in San Marcos and in my opinion the best! Every time there was an issue, maintenance was there within the next day. The front office employees are extremely helpful and notifications for packages arrive within minutes of drop off. Have not had any issue involving any particular incidence. I am currently in the one bedroom apartment and it is fantastic. The price is extremely fair and competitive with the option of a car port.
Review from 4/21/17 on Google Apr 2017: I recommend this apartment complex to anyone. One of my fav things is how good the staff are. Everyone is happy to greet you and help you with any situation. Mail service notifications are on point. When a package is delivered, you get a notification shortly after. Also, the bedrooms are pretty spacious!
Review from 4/15/17 on Google Apr 2017: My favorite thing about Copper Beech is the SIZE of the apartment. So affordable - you get what you pay for. I live in a two bedroom with one roommate. My roommate was random but before signing, the complex told me my roommate would have a pet and it worked out so well. By far the best experience I've had at an apartment in my four years in San Marcos!
Review from 4/15/17 on Google Apr 2017: I've been at the Cooper Beach for a few months now. The Accounts Manager has been unbelievably kind to me. The office staff is also ultra-friendly and more than willing to help with anything necessary. They treat us residents as though we are a part of their family. They seem to know every single person on a first name basis and never fail to say hi and give a big wave and a smile. I am very lucky to have that while being away from my hometown.
Review from 4/13/17 on Google Apr 2017: Upon first moving in, we had some issues with the carpet that delayed my roommates and my move in, but they worked with us for our inconvenience and the issue was quickly resolved. Maintenance problems were quickly resolved and Resident Director was quick to respond to any questions/concerns I had. Front office staff is nice and friendly. The staff makes the effort improve its residents' overall stay by sending out an online survey to get feedback, and as a result, they had installed more dog stations and visitor parking spots.
Review from 4/8/17 on Google Dec 2016: Enjoyed living here. Nobody bothers you and having 2 shuttle stops right outside to take you to campus is great!
Review from 12/30/16 on Google Aug 2016: XXXX is the worse. Garbage leasing agent. not helpful. Horrible customer service. Horrible reflection of copper beech, San Marcos, and all inspiring bobcats. Hopefully he learns to treat people with respect especially those paying for the degree he has not earned yet
Review from 8/16/16 on Google Aug 2016: I get emails saying that I owe a balance. The balance on the emails are always wrong and the receptionists never tell me what I need to pay for rent that month with balances included. There is always trash in my front lawn space and it's an eye sore, I look like I live in the dumps. Other apartment complexes don't look as bad, ever. The third party maintenance workers are sketchy and leave front doors unlocked. I do not appreciate this.
Review from 8/10/16 on Google Jun 2016: Awesome service and friendly staff! Never had a problem, staff is always there to help from paperwork to giving you a spare key and giving out free pizza and burgers! Best apartment complex for Texas state students for sure! Definitely living here throughout my time in San Marcos!
Review from 6/9/16 on Google May 2016: Living at Copper Beech Town homes was the worst year of my life. My car got broken into multiple times, my car was towed even though I had a parking sticker and was never reimbursed that money, there was loud music at all time of nights and plenty of fights. There are no visitor spots when you have company and Ive had to take multiple friends to go get their towed car multiple times. My apartment and others Ive spooked have a terrible insect and roach problem, when ive called them to come fumigate or spray the house they have yet to do so. I would never live here again or recommend it.
Review from 5/2/16 on Google Apr 2016: Maintenance is great, they are friendly guys that get out to you quick. Front desk attendants are always courteous and helpful. The two bus stops are easy and get you to campus in 15 minutes. The homes themselves are spacious and work just fine. Overall Nice amenities (pool, fitness center, volleyball court)One thing I would upgrade is the quantity/location of the visitors parking spaces, and maybe limit the amount of tow trucks that are permitted to patrol the premises.
Review from 4/18/16 on Google Nov 2015: DO NOT live at copper beech!! This place is terrible, the people working at the office are a bunch of idiots. Specially a blonde woman who seems to be in charge. Every time I walk out of my door there is some kind of paper charging me for stupid that I do not owe. This place is just horrible and dirty do not live here everything about this place sucks they do not even deserve one star.
Review from 11/18/15 on Google Sep 2015: Pros: Nice sized apartments.
Cons: everything below.
Would I live here again? No, not even if it was free.
Copper Beech seamed really nice on paper, large rooms, private bathrooms, open kitchen and good size living room all for an affordable rent. So I got a room in a four bedroom unit even though they could show me one because the didn't have a model house.
Review from 9/19/15 on Google Sep 2015: I've only lived here a month and this undoubtedly the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The management is terrible, they add on fees to get more money from you and half of our utilities didn't work for the first week. NEVER live here, in one month I've decided I wont renew my lease.
