Close to the belt-line, Ncstate, and downtown. HOA does its part in maintaining the property and owners concerns. Neighbors are friendly, the only downfall is that someone may park in your assigned parking spot, but it doesn't happen often and there is plenty of parking. Review from Google

Oct 2013: I have lived here for several years and "management" is increasingly difficult to deal with. They are rude, they lie, and are very unprofessional. The office which was initially on the property (only open for 3 hours a day) has moved. So now if you have an issue, you can only call and pray someone answers the phone and/or calls you back. When you do get Kim on the phone and attempt to explain your issue, she goes on and on about when she used to live there and what she did and the HOA handles this or that and I can't do anything about that. We need to contact the owner. I don't need to hear all of that, just assist me with my current problem.

Sep 2013: This is a horribly run complex. Office is maybe open two hours a day. don't rent here unless you want to recreate the movie "Joe's Apartment". Roaches are everywhere, some as big as a quarter, not to mention the crickets and centipedes that you're bound to find daily. The pest control company the management sends must use the weakest spray possible as hours after a visit the bugs return. We will be moving out soon, following four of our neighbors within the last few months.

Sep 2013: I am a current Driftwood Manor resident. I have been here nearly 3 years. I love the neighbors, we are a rather close knit group that enjoy getting together and socializing. However, the Homeowner's Association (HOA) makes living there miserable. The management company they hired refuses to cooperate with renters in any way (including providing copies of the HOA rules), then constantly cites renters for breaking said rules (which they refuse to supply a copy of). At the same time, HOA board members are allowed to get away with the exact same thing. The management person, who claims to represent the interest of the HOA board, stated to a resident that her goal was to "get rid of all the riff-raff, Section 8, and niggers."
