Feb 2018: The management and staff are great and always helpful! Each time there is an issue with my apartment, maintenance comes quickly and fixes the issue efficiently. Community activities are abundant, so that there is always something new happening. I've such a great experience living at the Lodges. Review from Google Jan 2018: We absolutely love living here. The neighbors are polite and respectful. We enjoy the community get togethers put together by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they have always been helpful with any issues we have brought up especially Bryan. We have actually befriended most of the staff. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The amenities are awesome. I highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking. Review from Google Jan 2018: I've lived here for about three months and I've really enjoyed it. I can honestly say the only issue I've had is that people don't pick up after their dogs, which makes it annoying to go outside, but otherwise I haven't had an issue. The staff, especially the manager, is very helpful and kind. Review from Google Jan 2018: Let me just start by saying The Retreat is a prime example of "You Get What You Pay For" and this place is cheap. My roommates and I rented here because it was one of the few places that would offer a short term lease (the only reason they are getting 2 stars). Within the first 2 months our entire building had mice, lots of them. The leasing office did a good job at first of hearing the problems and acting on it at first, called pest control, gave us snap and sticky traps etc. This did not last though, pest control never came to our apartment again and we were constantly asking for more traps. The problem became worse and worse, the mice starting chewing through the drywall in our bathrooms and leaving feces inside and around our AC unit. These pests were doing major damage to our couches, the units drywall, carpet and AC unit but the leasing Review from Google Dec 2017: I love my room and the location of the complex, but I have had problems with maintenance staff. For example: when all the locks were replaced, my key wasn't placed in my mailbox and it took 1 1/2 hours to track down the right person to get my correct key (the wrong one was given to me twice). More recently, I submitted a work request for my dryer. After about a month, I got a confirmation email that the service was complete, but now my dryer works worse than it did before. The people and units are very nice here, it's a safe place, but I feel like a lot of things are very disorganized. Review from Google Nov 2017: Such a great place to live. The staff cares about the residents, maintenance is efficient, and the apartments are absolutely wonderful. The new Resident Experience Manager Lyndsay is such a great person and is always happy to speak with residents about whatever we need. The parties she organizes are so much fun. I’m glad we have her here. Review from Google Nov 2017: These guys are amazing! If you are looking for a place to call home and actually feel like you're listened to, cared for, and appreciated...look no further! The staff - all the way from the leasing agents to the maintenance crew to the management - are outstanding. They literally have gone out of their way for me during more times than I can count. And they are truly giving with their time, efforts, and professionalism. Ergo, I'm proud to call this place my home! Review from Google Nov 2017: This place never ceases to amaze me. This complex, unlike many others, is very "resident friendly". The property managers are always having events that are family friendly. We make it a point to not miss them. Tonight we had a fall festival that was awesome. Lindsay outdid herself with the decor and Bryan made chili that was absolutely SUPERB! I love these apartments. Review from Google Nov 2017: I hope people actually take the time to read reviews before moving to a place, specially this apartment complex, at first I thought it was perfect and it was really nice and convenient, after moving in I had issues with my AC going out and they took over 3 days to fix it it was over 100 degrees in my apartment... Management is absolutely horrible and so unproffesional, they do not care about your needs or issues, I cannot count how many times I've had an issue with management and they do absolutely nothing to make the situation any better... I really hope this place gets shut down somehow and that people do not renew they're leases here or even sign a lease to begin with, I do not recommend this place whatsoever!!! Review from Google Nov 2017: Having lived here for a year, my overall experience was great. Any maintenance was addressed immediately. The lake has a great view to relax. You can also fish here! There are friendly ducks that love being fed. Dog friendly property that my Boston Terrior, Charlie, enjoyed. Very friendly and professional staff. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Review from Google Oct 2017: The office staff are helpful, except for Katie. I lived here for two years, and yes I paid my rent late more than twice. But I left the complex in May because I relocated out of state for a new job. I agreed to pay the apartment complex $50 a month to pay off my balance. I paid consistently, on the 28th of every month. The last month I paid I asked to change my pay date to the first. The last money order I sent out Katie claims never showed up at the office, but I have receipts and confirmation showing that it did. She expected me to sent another fifty dollar money order after I had just sent one a few days prior. Needless to say they sent my account to collections because I'm not paying more than what I owe. They also sent a notice to my door once over FOUR CENTS. FOUR PENNIES! They never match you with the right roommates, I've ha Review from Google Oct 2017: I live at Brookehollow, the other property managed by The Villas and it's been nothing short of fantastic so far. The office staff has been incredibly responsive and helpful and maintenance has been incredibly quick. Review from Google Oct 2017: I love living here. My apartment is comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. The maintenance here is high quality. I love the pool and the fitness center. It is very convenient for me after long hours at work. The neighbors are friendly. Most importantly the complex is very peaceful, and I would definitely recommend living here. Review from Google Sep 2017: Since May 2017, the staff at Indigo Park have provided exceptional service. I have made service requests for new light bulbs and an air condition filter and they were replaced within 24 hours of my requests. The workers at the front desk (Lyndsay in particular) have personally delivered a package to me when they knew I was looking for it. The maintenance staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, and the grounds are spotless! Monthly updates are delivered regularly by email, and text message updates are sent when details are urgent. In turn, the positive attitude of the staff and loveliness of the property keep the residents happy, and as such our neighbors throughout the complex are expressively jovial. I am excited to come home to indigo, and I think anybody else would be too! Review from Google Sep 2017: I've lived at Villas on Brightside for 4+ years and I love living here! It's my home! Management is super friendly and accommodating on all resident requests. The area is generally quiet. Personally, the best thing about the location is that it does not flood. As long as I've lived here none of the buildings have flooded even after the heavy flooding from August 2016. Granted, there is some flooding in the far ends of the parking lot but as long as you move your vehicle it shouldn't be an issue. There are plenty of parking spaces available for residents and visitors. It's also on the LSU Tiger Trails route for Tigerland A & B and Night A buses. A great bonus for college students, including myself. There is a basketball half court and a swimming pool (recently renovated) available too. Packages are generally delivered to the main office so you Review from Google Sep 2017: We are currently experiencing the same issues with the security deposit that others here have mentioned.. The law is very clear on this issue. We also paid $136 for carpet cleaning but they charge $60 for carpet cleaning. the $136 check cleared the bank. They sent an invoice claiming our sons would receive $145 of their $450 security deposit back. Even claimed they had to pay $85 for blinds. There was nothing wrong with the blinds. But our kids had a crappy stove that I'm surprised didn't catch the building on fire. LA RS 9:3251 §3251. A. Any advance or deposit of money furnished by a tenant or lessee to a landlord or lessor to secure the performance of any part of a written or oral lease or rental agreement shall be returned Review from Google Aug 2017: They will nickel and dime you so much your rent will cost more than any other apartments. Plan on cleaning your apartment in order to get your security deposit back? Not happening, even if you vacuum and leave the place spotless. They will delay and not give you any deposit back for months. They make you pay for carpet cleaning before moving out when it wasn't in the lease; then they double dip and charge you twice for carpet cleaning out of your deposit. They do not follow their lease and they write their own rules. They could easily be taken to small claims court and owe numerous residents hundreds of dollars. The newer manager, Wanda, is running a highway robbery over there. If you're thinking about renting one of their 2 bedrooms that they cannot fill, don't because there's a reason its not filled. Review from Google Aug 2017: Living in the apartments was okay for what you get, but they don't care about the tenants at all. You shouldn't go in with high expectations. The parking lot was awful with huge potholes and there were roaches everywhere. This is the least of the problems I had with Campus Crossing. After I moved out they fraudulently billed me for "trash removal" a $300 charge split between my 3 roommates and me. I refused to pay at the time, as I left the apartment cleaner than when I moved in. However, since this ruined my credit (they sent the bill to collections) and I wanted to move into a new apartment, I was forced to pay the fraudulent fine. Now that I payed the the fine, they sent me another bill for $50.32 for "Bad Debt Recovery", demanding I pay more money for something I should have never had to pay for in the first place. Campus Crossings o Review from Google Aug 2017: My apartment has too many issues and I just moved to this place 2 MONTHS AGO! I currently have spiders in my dining area and spider webs are in the corners of my ceiling and I'm a very clean and tight person. The best part is when it rains , my bathroom floods with water. The Whole floor gets covered with water. Thought this would be a great place to stay but from all of these issues and I have only been here for such a short time period it SUCKS. Review from Google Jul 2017: We decided to move here about a year ago mainly because of convenience and the office staff we dealt with was understanding and helpful. Well, the first 8 months go by and things are generally okay other than the stench of sewer outside. After moving in I took down the air vents to clean them and they were so disgusting that the water used to clean them turned black. On the way home from vacation in April, I got a call that there was a sewer backup upstairs which flooded my downstairs apartment. When I got home, they had thrown all of my belongings out of the closets and on the floor in the bedrooms and taken out the carpet padding in only a quarter of the apartment. House keeping showed up so I left to let them clean, 20 minutes later, I returned to get some cash that was left laying out and the cleaning ladies were gone!! They cleaned up fro Review from Google Jul 2017: Parking lot could be bigger, no washer/dryer in units... quiet, well kept quaint Review from Google Apr 2017: Great place to live. Was sceptical about living here at first because the previous place, the zone, was horrible, but this place could not be better. Its cheap, safe, and the staff, especially the manager, are super helpfully. I will stay here as long as I am in baton rouge. Review from Google Mar 2016: Management is HORRIBLE & UNPROFFESIONAL! They do not answer things in a timely fashion & always say "oh I'll personally make sure it's taken care of" & never take care of anything. Spend your hard earned money else where. Review from Google
