Dec 2016: I had a terrible experience renting from the Boulders at LakeRidge. When I was living there, my apartment flooded with over a foot of water and it happened while I was at work. They went in and tore all of the carpet up (carpet was already in bad shape) removed the padding from underneath it and put fans all over my apartment for 4 plus days. All of my furniture was moved to the living room and kitchen, my rugs that got soaked were left in a wadded up ball; it seemed all they cared about was saving their carpet. I asked the staff if the carpet could be replaced due to mold and mildew which was probably already in the walls and they refused to replace it.
Review from 12/22/16 on Google Oct 2016: This place is awesome. I've lived here for a year now and plan on staying another. The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. Anytime something was broke or needed replacing they were there. I honestly don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here. I've enjoyed it and recommend this place. Review from Google Sep 2016: If you are looking for a clean apartment, with courteous hard working staff, this is definitely NOT the place for you to live. I had 2 apartments here, the first one I can say it was really good, I decided to move to a bigger apartment, and so they got a townhome available. The first thing when I got the apartment, it was not clean, the toilets where black inside, the carpet had holes in it, the kitchen was dirty and filled with grease, the water from the dirty water from the sink was going into the dishwasher, the fridge was not working, the A/C broke and flooded my apartment, the A/C was not working upstairs, the dirty water from the bathtub was flowing through my cabinets where I had my food stored. I submitted throughout 3 months maintenance request, which they say that everything was fix, and fix and fix, obviously was never fix. So after several attempts to Sep 2016: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX!!! Read the reviews and heed everything that they say, it's all true! Renting from the boulders will ruin your life while you're living there and will continue to ruin your life even after moving out. I have so much to say I don't even know where to start. There were flooding issues in TWO different apartments, we were charged for issues that the complex manager created by her negligence, AND a year later we aren't able to rent from anywhere else because the boulders is saying that we owe them $200. If you have a pet, the $300 or $200they make you pay is considered a "pet fee", not a pet deposit and will not go towards any damages, you just lose the money! We made the mistake of making this the first apartment complex we moved into and it was the biggest mistake of our lives.
It started when our first apartment f Review from Google Jun 2016: These apartments are horrible.the day I had to move in my apartment it wasn't even ready to be moved in too. Not to say I had lease the contract three months before my move in date. And I am not liking the experience so far. My ceiling is leaking from two different spots, and management don't do anything about it. I would not recommend anyone to come and rent here. It's not worth the money I pay. I really can't wait to move out of these apartments.
Review from 6/17/16 on Google Jun 2016: We didn't have any real issues (the apartment is ok as far as apartments go) until this month, when they randomly decided to no longer take money orders. They said that by using money gram it would be easier for us. But money grams cost way more than money order, as do every other form of payment, and we don't have checks. After running back and forth across town to get money from one account into the other account, I was able to get our payment for paying rent down to $6.70. So much more stressful then going to Walmart, paying 68 cents for a money order, then taking it to the office. I can't wait to move out of her.
Review from 6/8/16 on Google Jun 2016: I have been renting at different apartments for over 10 years and Boulders has been the WORST experience EVER!!!!!. I like others have tried to leave my review on The Boulders website and it is never posted. So I deeply agree that they for 2016, have only posted the "good reviews" which there are only 2.
As for the pools, I side with the others in that the pools are never open or functioning. Noise is unbearable whether it be your side neighbors or neighbors in building across from yours. From kids screaming and running like they have ZERO sense and sorry parents.
Review from 6/3/16 on Google Feb 2014: I've lived here for about a year and enjoyed it. No noisy neighbors or really annoying things that go on. I had a couple of things happened with my fridge and they replaced it immediately. I would give this place more stars but it took the mover a month to replace my dishwasher when it broke. I guess if that is the worst then it's really not that bad of a place to leave. I will most likely renew my lease with them.
