Hi, Loading...

Oct 2019: We have lived here since August. We love the amount of space we have but we always have issues with things breaking. The lady in the office that handles maintenance stuff is rude and so are some of the maintenance people who have left us passive aggressive notes when they've come to fix things that we didn't even get to use because they broke like the disposal. Overall not bad for the price but lots of fixing needs done to these buildings. Review from Google
Jun 2019: Parking? Terrible. Staff? Rude. Just finished up a 12month lease. The apartment was spotless minus a couch i couldn’t move by myself(i accepted the $75 fee). So therefore i was expecting the rest of my security deposit back (almost $300) and then received a letter instead that there was carpet damage and charged me $500! There was no carpet damage, our pets are well trained. We didn’t even spill water on it. Now they are avoiding my calls and lock the door when i approach the office. These people are terrible, i rather sue than pay them anymore money. Review from Google

May 2019: The parking situation is ridiculous! No respect for handicap people whatsoever. The management refuses to enforce handicap parking spots for disabled tennants. Review from Google

Apr 2019: I live in this cracked out place the old raggedy woman with 5 kids at the front desk is a clown she’s more concerned about my 90$ deposit for my dog when my girlfriend has a emotional support animal and a notice from the doctor she would rather harass us come peaking through our windows everyday instead of worry about the meth my next door neighbor and her crackhead boyfriend are cooking everyday. Don’t move here everything breaks you should honestly stay at motel 6 for a long period of time instead of living here. Review from Google
Mar 2019: The worst place I've ever lived I would rather live in a hotel than here I need to move asap landlords suck rude as hell and I pray to God no one has to stay here. Ladies in the leasing office are some of the rudest people I’ve talked to. The rent is ridiculously expensive for what you’re getting. The kitchen is tiny barely can fit a regular size microwave on the counters. Parking is terrible. No assigned parking. You usually won’t have a parking space in the evening. not worth the money at all. Too expensive for what you’re getting and the management is beyond rude. Review from Google
Jan 2019: While the living space in apartments is manageable the worst thing about this place is the management. 2 women in office are always rude, even when you ask questions and refuse to pass complaints onto landlord. Mislead me to think we were getting a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath apartment, when in fact our apartment only had 1 bathroom and an unfinished closet with plumbing but no bathroom. When we complained on move in day we were told sorry this apartment is as is. Maintenance people are pretty nice, and show up quickly, but don’t always fix everything. My bathroom fan hasn’t worked in 3 years, I call every couple months to remind them, depending on the person some day they will need to get a new fan, some say they cannot replace it. Our back door is so old the wood is rotting away from the lock-I can see the outside through the crack. I asked about Review from Google

Dec 2018: We lived at Indian Valley for 2 years and left with positive things to say; we will really miss living here! Everyone responds quickly when you need something, maintenance workers were always kind towards us and our dog and you feel like you have a good amount of space/privacy. Apartments are very spacious and feel homey while being close to downtown Kent and the highway. Review from Google
Nov 2018: The front staff isn't super friendly but the apartments are affordable and fairly priced. The maintenance guy was always friendly and fixed things within a few days. The month to month price is great for college students and I even received my deposit back in a timely manner after I moved out. We lived here for 7 years but had to move due to terrible neighbors. The front staff won't do anything if your neighbors are a nightmare. Also the price of the apartments increased by over $270 per month in the time we were there. Be aware that utilities are split between everyone in the building. They don't tell you that. But i noticed a huge spike in our heating and water when we got new neighbors. The bottom floor has almost no insulation at all, making the living room useless in the winter unless your heater is on blast. However, I would still recom Review from Google
Jan 2018: Not very friendly workers. Charge more every month. not worth it. Review from Google
Mar 2016: rude and irresponsible for many scenarios. No smile unless rent paid in the present of faces. It's guaranteed your experience would be miserable. Especially, college students will not be qualified anymore. Lived there for 6 years, moving out when lease is up. Honestly, no one would even bother to waste such a time writing a review, if the fact cannot benefit others and avoiding traps. If the landlord, the owner, self realizes the fact that the management of Indian Valley is failing, himself/herself will totally outrage at what kind of people hired. Unless, all are in a cahoot. Business is not run like this. Review from Google
Aug 2015: The location is great right down the road from everything. But the maintenance is not to the standards that an apartment building should have my ceiling has been leaking for about a year I would call and they would send someone out but they wouldnt do any thing. They wouldn't try to find where the leak was coming from. There is rust and mold around the tub as well. My air conditioner vent was letting rain enter my room. Just things like that but other than that its a quiet little place good enough to raise you're kids at. Review from Google
May 2015: Where to begin.... This is a terrible place to live. The two women in the office are absolutely the worst, they are extremely rude, unhelpful, make you feel like you're a burden, have unhappy tones every single time you talk to them, and they don't care if anything goes wrong in your place they just say we'll have maintenance come when they can and they never do. Several times I asked to talk to their boss because of how awful they are and they tell me he's too busy for my issues and refuse to give me contact information. They also leave out details when you're signing the lease like that fact that the gas bill is split between every resident there. So while I'm conserving my heat in the winter to save money I just froze my butt off and still paid as much as everyone else. Also, upon moving in I had patches in my carpet where they did replac Review from Google
May 2012: We lived with a draining ceiling for 6 months. don't LIVE HERE! I moved here because it was close to campus and still affordable, but it's seriously THE WORST. Our kitchen ceiling started leaking and it took them two months to even get anybody out to fix it. When somebody did finally show up, he put a new piece of drywall over the leaking part. Are you kidding me? When I called the office to tell them it hadn't fixed the problem, that the ceiling still leaked every time we used the shower upstairs, they told me "It's your fault then, you're getting water everywhere." I took off the access panel in my closet to look at the shower plumbing, there was a giant leak in the main pipe. I talked to them again, trying to explain that no, it was the actual plumbing that was bad, and they told me they would send somebody out again. Not a single person e Review from Google
Dec 2011: I lived here for one year and it was ok, close to the university, but far enough away to escape the noise. The maintenance was OK. Once my key wouldn't open my apartment and maintenance "didn't know" when they would be able to come out which I found unacceptable. Finally it was fixed but I'm glad I didn't live there a second year Review from Google
