Sep 2019: Recently resigned our lease for our second year with Post Parkside. We have loved every moment living here, until a few short weeks ago. Since we have turned our paperwork in to resign our lease there have been several things that have made us question us continuing our lease for the remainder of the year. Our guest parking has never been an issue, but all of the sudden our guest have to pay to park here? Outside the gate, even though in the past 6-8 months there has been breakins? However, our biggest complaint is that when we first moved in spots appeared on our floor... they had our carpet cleaned. 2-5 months later the spots are continuing to appear throughout our apartment.... in places that we don't even walk... but since I have made the spots aware to the complex, this can't be their fault? it has to be something we are doing? WHAT! And then continue to say that this is something we will have to pay for? I am very upset with the way this has been handled Review from Google Sep 2019: Used to really enjoy living here. It is in a GREAT location, I love that I can walk anywhere and the apartments are a nicely renovated size and a decent size.
However, I am regretting my decision to resign my lease for another year. The staff is friendly and tells you what you want to hear until there is a problem and they say you are at fault. The complex has had mice issues, the apartment above us would leak and there would be water dripping from the ceiling. Facilities like elevators are constantly out of order. There is not enough guest parking and they just changed the structure that guest will now have to pay $15 to park. Review from Google Jul 2019: I lived here for a year and have nothing but great things to say! All maintenance requests were responded to in a timely manner and Scott did a great job at keeping us updated about things happening in the complex. I’ve never lived in an apartment complex with a manager like Scott who was super on top of everything and all around just a great manager to have. I have zero complaints about living here, the loft we lived in was gorgeous and the location is pretty unbeatable. Highly recommend! Review from Google Jul 2019: I just recently left Post Parkside after living there for three years and absolutely loved every minute of it. I have never had an apartment manager like Scott and have to highly recommend this place, and Scott, to anyone looking for an amazing place to live and a manager who communicates well, is organized and moves quickly on emergencies.
I will never forget the time he ran down to the Music Midtown ticket booth where we had all been standing in line for hours to get free tickets Music Midtown had promised us. He came down and advocated for all of us and I have NEVER seen an apartment manager do anything like that for tenants. Scott is the man. Review from Google Jul 2019: I lived at Post Parkside for a year, and I enjoyed the convenience, safety, and features of the complex. Scott Atkins, the property manager, did a wonderful job of keeping the property looking nice, addressing resident requests, and generally helping the apartments to be a great home. He was readily available, and he responded in a timely manner to requests/issues. I would definitely recommend Post Parkside as a residence! Review from Google Mar 2019: I have seen 4 cars get broken into and My car had been broken into on 2 separate occasions.. Management has taken no concern with this issue other then placing a sign up that says “prevent theft.†I would avoid living here at all costs due to there lack of concern for any issue regarding the safety of their residents Feb 2019: I see a lot of negative reviews here and in my opinion that are a bit unfair. I have nothing but nice things to say about the office staff and the employees in general at post Parkside. The office staff is quick to answer any and all questions. We have a full time maintenance staff. If I ever have a problem someone shows up in a matter of minutes from putting in my request. I have never lived somewhere with such a quick turn around on maintenance issues.
As far as security concerns go, its midtown! I have a friend that lives at a luxury apartment complex nearby and got robbed at gunpoint in her parking garage. We have an officer on call at post Parkside plus a security company that monitors the site and garage daily. We even had security cameras recently installed in the garage and hallways.
I’ve lived here a year and a half with nothing but positive experiences. Feb 2019: If I can give you one piece of advice it would be to stay as far away from this place as possible. High crime and break-ins at this place. Management doesn't really seem to care at all as long as they have your money deep in their pockets. MAA has horrible customer service. Reach out to me before living here and I will personally guide you in another direction. Review from Google Jun 2018: Right next to Piedmont Park there's also a Jason's Deli downstairs. Review from Google Jun 2018: There is a dead rat behind Jason's Deli. It has been there for a few days and is now swelling. When there are enough gases in the carcass it will explode. Contacted the office and got nowhere. Went again, hours later, office closed, the ladies were still there but refused to open the doors. Sad that there was no response from a neighbor. Review from Google Oct 2017: Not only was Post Parkside the best price for the location and square footage in the area, but it has left nothing wanting in my time living here. The location on Piedmont Park, right by the belt line, and easy walking distance to Marta or any manner of restaurants and even shops (1 mile is easy for me) makes it perfect for convenience. There is so much easy entertainment with festivals and museums and such as well. I love everything about my apartment, and I would stay forever if I was going to be single forever. :) The layout of my apartment is compact but feels huge. My unit faces 10th Street in building 1, and the natural light from the big windows is fabulous. The kitchen is huge with more storage than I could ask for and plenty of counter space for cooking. I have felt completely safe the entire time living here, even late at night com Review from Google Aug 2017: I think it's a great deal. You are right beside Piedmont Park (don't even have to cross a street to get there) and close to anywhere in Midtown. Review from Google Jul 2016: You won't find any other apartment complexes in Midtown for this location and price. I've lived here for a year and haven't had any issues. The management and maintenance teams are very responsive. Another huge plus - unlimited guest parking. You definitely can't find that anywhere else in Midtown. Review from Google Jul 2016: Not sure why people are providing bad reviews here. Lived in Post Parkside Midtown Atlanta for over two years. The one bedrooms, especially facing the courtyard, were fantastic. It's right on the corner of Piedmont Park, so the location is prime. You can easily walk to almost any bar/restaurant in midtown. The staff were friendly and responsive. And the price was actually lower than almost any other complexes in the area. Would highly recommend living here. Review from Google
