Oct 2019: AC been broken for a month now .. I’ve reached out to the assistant manger once again “ Tiffany†and she didn’t have a answer couldn’t do anything don’t know how she holds a assignment manger position? The ladies in the front desk try they best to assistant with all problems ! Hopefully the fix my ac instead of lying about it Review from Google Jul 2019: I came in to tour an apartment after I seen a guy with a sign outside for Free Rent. When I came in, there was a resident in the office talking to one of the ladies at the desk very rudely. She said she had an open maintence request, but it was clear she didn't. Tiffany was nice enough to still be able to help us even though she just had to deal with such rude people. I came on here to leave a review that the place was nice, the apartments were clean and the staff was still professional despite the rude clients that they have, and what do I see, a review from the same people. Tiffany was calm, patient, and even when the person was cursing, Tiffany still tried to help her. I couldn't believe the person was still so rude. Review from Google Jul 2019: If I could leave zero stars I would. This is the worst apartment complex I've ever experienced. There is dog pee and poop in the hallways consistently. I mean stepping over dog pee to get to work every morning. The fire alarm goes off constantly. I mean 2 to 3 times a night, 3 nights a week. Apartment rattling subwoofers in the middle of the night. Neighboring apartment had people screaming at each other multiple times a week in the middle of the night. The guest parking lot is tiny and always full, so friends have to park on the street next to abandoned boarded up houses. Maintenance is completely useless, we had a leak in our storage closet that grew black mold before maintenance came to do anything about it. The stove top only had two working burners. It's staggering how bad it is. The list goes on but you get the point. Review from Google Jun 2019: By far the WORST APARTMENT HOMES IN ATLANTA! ASSISTANT MANGER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ! Not anywhere near worth 1600 a month. Don’t waste your time. I moved in on the 11th and still have yet to receive a parking decal. They are asking me to park my car in guest parking when I have a lease signed here and told her I had two cars prior to signing the lease. She’s very lazy and doesn’t do her job. I DO not recommend THIS APARTMENT HOME FOR ANYONE but people who is on section 8. This reminds me of section 8 housing Review from Google May 2019: I've been living at the point for almost a year and I've loved it. PROS: the location is great because it's so close to the city, the ladies in the front office, Jasmine and Yolanda are awesome! Love them! They knew me by name, it was always a great vibe when I walked into the office. Yolanda even got emotional when we turned in our notice to vacate. â¤ï¸ðŸ˜¢The pool is always fun great vibes. I was just there for memorial day. Maintenance always come within a few days of my request and fixes the issue. I've always felt safe living in this community.
CONS: the main reason we are leaving is the water bill, since we've lived here it fluctuates. The leasing office always decreases it to around 100 regardless of what the initial price was and states that the water meter is broken and that 100 is our actual use ( how can you know that if it's broken?). They said they requested the water company come out and fix the issue but they don't know when they'll come Review from Google May 2019: The worst place I have ever lived at. All security does is sit in their cars and smoke weed. There was been a man who kicked down our door and is banned from the property and management doesn’t care. We’ve had vents covered in mold, never been replaced. The dryer has been broken the 9 months I’ve lived here and maintenance “fixes†it aka does absolutely nothing. Our air conditioning has been broken for 2 months. It has reached 88 degrees and maintenance has yet to come. I should sue this place for the god awful living conditions and overpriced rent. Oh and let’s not forget about how it’s summer time in Georgia and we can’t even get in the pool. What a joke. This place is ran by sick and twisted people. Review from Google May 2019: I have lived at the point for almost a year now and it has been a great experience! The only negative thing about the community is the price, however the ladies in the leasing office are awesome (despite what others have said on here). Speak to Yolanda or Jasmine they are the BEST! Wish it wasn’t so expensive because I would definitely renew my lease ! Review from Google May 2019: So..i called yesterday (May 1st), Interested in a 1 bedroom, possibly a 2 bedroom as long as i met the requirements. Yolonda originally answered the phone, however i felt like She was rather sarcastic with the questions that i was asking. So i hung up and called back maybe about 10 min later and got Christine. Christine was so nice, helpful, didn’t have an attitude....told me how to apply and now the rest is up to me :) i was going to leave 2 stars because of the first girl but I’m glad i called back so Christine saved it for 5 stars 😌 Review from Google Mar 2019: Basic apartments, overpriced b/c of the stadium, & way less than "luxury" living. Complicated navigation, bare minimum amenities, & low security measures for the area.
On our apartment tour, one of the employees started taking down their weave in the front office. The manager & staff just watched and laughed while saying, "Oh, no she didn"t!"
Realizing our last resort option wasn't worth it, we started looking elsewhere the next day. If you need more of a reason to as well (on top of all these terrible reviews), then welcome to the hood & enjoy your stay!
Residents- Stay strong- hopefully WayPoint Management Services becomes professional or gets bought out! Review from Google Mar 2019: Professionalism still matters and unfortunately its missing at this apartment community. If you're a person who vales dealing with professional people when it comes to business this is not the place for you. My brother and I were hoping to lease here since the location worked for us. In the beginning of the application process Jasmin was constantly communicating with us. Once we were denied (discrepancies on the credit) the communication stopped. We were hoping to still lease simply because the credit discrepancies were incorrect and we verified and got proof from the credit companies to support that. Unfortunately the office started screening our calls and not answering emails. Jasmin even said she would email my brother his info to look into the matter but she did not. So no, I don't think your office is ran professionally or with respect. PLEASE do not waste your time addressing this review. My statement is honest and accurate. Jan 2019: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! At first this apartment seemed like a blessing as it is in a great location from school and everything else. I started having issues the second month living here as my upstairs neighbor would constantly stomp around at odd hours during the day, its been almost 8 months. I've reported this issue to the leasing office so many times as it started affecting my rest and also my productivity for work. I was told that the neighbor has been contacted but yet still there is no change. I have so many recordings of these disturbances and yet nothing has been done. it is really frustrating, everyone works hard for their money and just wants to come home to peaceful and quiet apartment. Also when guests come and park at the two hour parking every sound can be heard from the apartment, I can literally hear if anyone whispers. Everythin Review from Google Jan 2019: I rarely write reviews, so take this one seriously. If you're like me, you've read all the previous reviews and you're on the fence about moving into The Point at Westside. I get it. I was scared myself. Some of those negative reviews would make anyone concerned. So, I went in and talked to Yolanda and Jasmine. I told them point blank, "Listen... I want to move here, but all the reviews about college students have me concerned." Yolanda & Jasmine addressed each concern and some of the old reviews AND the fact it was under older management. Now... after living here a few months, I can say, I don't know what the negative reviews are about. I don't see fights, or anything crazy. haven't heard of anyone's car's being broken into...and there are some really nice cars in the parking lot. I've used the business lounge and the study center ( Review from Google Nov 2018: Just when I thought things were looking up (my experience here is documented in previous post), the alarm system goes off again, for the millionth time, and tech/maintenance that’s been dispatched by the representative with the building’s emergency hotline has not shown up to deactivate an alarm that’s been going off since before 4:30 am. It’s now a quarter to 7 am and it’s still ringing with no threat of danger in sight. Maintenance/tech support don’t show up to resolve after hour issues. Review from Google Oct 2018: I have been at this community for about 8 months and I must say my experience has been completely different. Yes a lot is true about the location but, the actual community I love. The new staff is Amazing they are so friendly and helpful. I have noticed a change in the community for the better. Yolanda is a sweetheart and keeps it real. She is my go to for EVERYTHING!! I’m really happy I chose this community. Review from Google Oct 2018: I’ve lived here 4 years. Been through tons of changes in management and it’s changed so much! The staff is awesome. very helpful and attentive. I’m in and out of the office frequently for packages and they always make sure I’m taken care of. It has improved so much. And I’m very grateful for it. Review from Google Sep 2018: *Please Read*
I have read a good chunk of the reviews before posting this and to be honest, the people who wrote negative reviews are not lying. It seems that they are being over-dramatic but they are not.
I loved this place when I first moved to Atlanta in 2017. It was near downtown, my job, not too far from the airport, PERFECT! As time went on, I started to notice that more and more college students started moving in and that is when I noticed a significant change in the community. The main issue that I have with this place is that the front office team as a whole is unsatisfactory. If I were to respond to some of the issues at my job the way that they do, I would be fired tomorrow. There is no follow up when there are maintenance issues and if there is a true emergency, the lead technician will tell you that he will get too it as soon as Review from Google Jun 2018: I am in my sixth year living at the Point at Westside. I have looked at numerous other complexes in the area and can definitely say that The Point is one of the better values in West Midtown. It's conveniently located by a gas station, Walmart (groceries) is nearby, and also easy access to the highway. The new office team, including the managers Mark and Tiffany, has been very friendly and accommodating. I recommend checking out The Point at Westside and seeing the newly renovated units, pool and gym firsthand. Review from Google Jun 2018: Do not move here! They will move you into a disability apartment without disclosing the information to you though you’re not disabled. And when you request to be moved or to have your rent lowered, the only option they offer is to move you to a supposedly larger unit with an increase in rent when you’re already paying $1467 for a two bedroom. You then wait 3 weeks to look at the new unit and it’s a literal downgrade from the disability unit you’re in: both bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room get smaller yet they insist that you pay more rent for a b.s. apartment with rust stains and peeling counter tops. Girl please. We’ve been here nearly 2 months and have yet to get a water bill and we don’t trust them at all. They claim they’re not able to show us water meters and I’m very skeptical about this considering that there h Review from Google Jun 2018: The management has been very helpful with all maintenance issues that have arisen. The complex is well groomed and maintained. Guest parking could definitely be bigger and more secure, but there is typically plenty of parking for residents in the parking garage. Review from Google May 2018: Initially, I've lived at The Point with my college roommates, since location is within close proximity to school. Now that I'm done, I'm past the point of wanting to leave. Here are a few key points on why it's a bad idea to live here:
-I've been threatened by a guy with a gun close to the front office at 10:20PM in December to get into his car. Luckily, I had someone with me at the time and the guy changed his mind. Police said that you shouldn't be out in 'this kinda area' at night anyways. I should be able to feel safe where I live. Confronted the front office, they were nonchalant about my experience.
-There's mandatory trash take out fees ~$30/month for 4-5x a week. In additon, +$30 extra if you didn't take the trash can back inside in time. In addition- renter's insurance, even if you have your own for $10/month, they'll charge you $50 Review from Google May 2018: Great place to live and affordable. I been living here since December 2017 and haven't had any issues. Review from Google Apr 2018: Although the price is good for the location, it is not worth IT!!!!
1. Hallways are filthy
2. The A/C has been broken for 4 months
3. Roaches are a constant problem even though my apartment is kept clean and with roach traps on every corner
4. Front office is not willing to help under any circumstances
5. They lost a payment and sent a deb collector
6. Guess parking is very limited and will boot a car at the first opportunity Review from Google Apr 2018: Been here long enough to see office management change 3 times and each one for the worst. The hallways are filthy, security entrances are always broken, and a dysfunctional fire alarm system that goes off randomly any given early morning. Very inconsistent with pretty much everything :( Love the convenience of the location, but will DEFINITELY be relocating after my lease is up! Review from Google Apr 2018: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! This is a very detailed review of my experience. If you care about your money, time and energy, please read this review from a transparent perspective. Most importantly, don't be a fool like me and ignore the reviews. You can tell the honest views from the ones made up. There are common themes in ALL of the HONEST reviews. I read a couple of the reviews online before choosing to move here, and I stupidly still made the decision to move here in spite of my apprehensions. I attained a new position here in Atlanta, and needed a place quickly. In a rushed situation, I unfortunately made a rushed decision. If you scroll down to Jasmine Griffin's review (don't know her personally), her experience mirrors my current situation almost identically. Professionally bullying by the office staff here is absolutely real!!!
They scam y Review from Google Mar 2018: Dormitory living at best. I have lived on this property for two months. There are several concerns with living on this property. The following are my ratings and rationale (Level 1-High Concern-Level 5 Not a Concern):
SECURITY: LEVEL 2- there are security cameras at the gates, however, there are no cameras in the hallways. There have been 4 incidents of the fire alarm being pulled in the last two months. I have observed the security guard sitting and watching tv in the lounge area. There are missing lights in the parking deck stairwell area to date. There have been times when the call box is out of order.
MAINTENANCE: LEVEL 2-The maintenance crew will mark items completed that have not. I still have outstanding items that have not been tended to.
CLEANLINESS: LEVEL 1-The halls and stairwells are littered with trash and pet feces. Although th Review from Google
