Nov 2019: My sister and I were looking for places close to our school, and Ashley Auburn was one of the places we stumbled upon. At first we were looking for student residences, but decided to broaden our search. Best choice ever. We entered the leasing office and was greeted immediately by Devon. I just want to say that that man deserves a RAISE! He is amazing. He was friendly, funny, and PATIENT (cause we have tons of questions)...all things someone would need to deal with my sister and I. People like Devon is an asset to your business! Review from Google Nov 2019: I am not a resident here, but I did a tour of the complex and was pleased with what I saw. Devon was our agent and he was phenomenal! He took his time to answer all of the questions my sister and I had. He was also really attentive and very welcoming! Review from Google Oct 2019: I'd give this community a 10/10! AAP always has engaging events/activities for the residents, they keep you updated constantly with text blasts, and the staff is wonderful. Stop by the leasing office for a tour of the community. Review from Google Oct 2019: My experience here so far has been nothing but EXCELLENT! Love the property and location! The staff is extremely pleasant, especially Devon! Devon has been such a GREAT help to me each time I speak with him. I'm looking forward to being a resident at this property. Review from Google Oct 2019: The property is very well kept and with recent changes, we will continue to maintain and build on our good rapport. I encourage anyone who's interested in our community to stop by and meet the office staff. Let us show you what our community has to offer. Review from Google Oct 2019: I moved into my apartment last august. within the first month, our air conditioning broke. they brought in a huge loud air conditioner for us plug in the wall and use for a more than a week while they fixed it. also around this time, our refrigerator broke as well and they replaced it with one MUCH smaller than the original. we really had to bother them to get us a refrigerator the same size as the one that broke. other than that, this place is infested with roaches. i never walked up the stairs to my apartment without seeing like 5 roaches. not to mention how many made their way into my apartment. the neighbors are loud, and there are ALWAYS people sitting outside the complex asking for spare change. not a very safe place to live, considering the lock on the gate to my building was broken the ENTIRE time i lived there. very glad to be moved out now and living somewhere much better. Review from Google Jul 2019: Would not refund our deposit and application fee (roughly $300) and did NOT notify us in a timely manner (a month) if our application was acceptable or not. Review from Google Jul 2019: They charge too much for this place when this place use to be Grady Homes projects. My sister moved out this crazy place some months ago. When I told her not move there in the first place with all the stuff we know. I don’t know why would she even moved in a place where housing projects use to sit. This place is a grave yard to me with all them dead bodies they were finding when they tore down them projects down some years back. This place is worth $500 to $700 stop scamming folks out they money. Review from Google Jun 2019: Management office is lacking in courtesy, professionalism and most of all competence. Emails and phones go unanswered. Their reception staff will sit on their phones instead of speaking to you. You make appointments with staff and you show up and they are not there or busy. Moni Thompson is the assistant manager - she and her staff are disorganized and incompetent.
Apartments are overpriced and cockroach infested. Maintenance and repairs can take a couple weeks. They take advantage of college students and the under privileged.
2 stars bc at least I’m not homeless and the AC works. Review from Google May 2019: The office staff is terrible. Jenna is a leasing agent who is very unprofessional. The security guards is not on the property, Nor do they answer to their calls. Very unsafe community. Terrible leasing agents. These apartments use to be projects, so chose wisely. Lots of college students, and they play Loud Music and have parties. this is not a peaceful community. Homeless people is close by. drugs are being sold in the area. Review from Google Jan 2019: Terrible place to live. Soooooo many downsides and not really any upsides. I was very happy to move out and never look back. Please listen to all the negative reviews about bugs, crime, break in, noise, trash, and everything else. Review from Google Nov 2018: Stayed here 10 months and couldn’t wait to leave once lease was over. Rude , unprofessional staff. Maintenance never repaired problems with electrical. Loud people in gated parking lots, Car vandalism and apartment break ins. Homeless sleeping on property, despite security officer that “patrolled.†For 1600 a month, you can stay somewhere nicer and safer. Review from Google Jun 2018: Always go to Ashley Auburn it's historic it's next to all the black college's Review from Google Mar 2018: This place is unsafe ( I was broken into and no one showed care or concern), centrally located, decent in the looks department. The staff is unprofessional, rude and difficult to deal with. I will not be renewing my lease! Review from Google Jan 2018: Today makes it 5 years and 2 days since I moved to this apartment and I can say that I have enjoyed my stay here. The proximity to downtown Atlanta is great, there is parking for residents and I was never robbed the entire time I lived here. I lived in an A2 floor plan and that kitchen is the largest I have seen in any apartment complex in the city. I attended Georgia State University and was able to walk to classes easily. In the past couple of years, there have been different management that made things a little difficult but I will say the new management has been great and very helpful.
Pros
1. Proximity to train station, GSU downtown Atlanta
2. Easy access to highways
3. Large kitchen with lots of cabinet space
4. Decent price for the location
5. 24hr Gym
6. Free workout classes, continental weekend breakfasts occasionally etc.

Can only access building via car or foot through a gate that has to call the host's cell phone. If they don't answer their cell you don't get in. Both nights I came back for my tradeshow the host didn't answer her cell for 45 minutes to an hour while I set outside the gate. The last night I jumped the gate and left my car on the street so I could get back to the room. The host did not even apologize when she finally responded to me 2 hours later. Review from Google Jan 2018: Great parking availability. Close proximity to downtown. Review from Google Oct 2017: I moved to this apartment complex because it was closer to Georgia State (where I go to school). I've lived here June of 2017. The first day I moved in, I noticed a musty, humid aura in the apartment with a hint of cigarette smoke. I found dip on the top of my kitchen cabinets. I told leasing about this, and they said that it's normal and was probably due to the apartment being vacant for a while. I noticed was that there was water leaking from my bathroom door whenever it rained really hard. I had told them about this issue June or July... it is now October and it has still not been fixed. The maintenance man, Rashad, reported in the system that he could not find the leak and the issue had been resolved... I have a screen shot of our text messages stating that he had found it. I also have a screen shot of me sending him a video of the leak. M Review from Google Aug 2017: They took money out of our deposit when literally everything was clean and nothing was broken.. they make up BS reasons to take your money. I recommend you do the walk through with them and make sure they don't screw you over. Review from Google
