Nov 2016: I never leave reviews but I would like to say to anybody looking for an apartment in the downtown area it can be very stressful. A lot of things play a HUGE PART in finding what you want. My main concern and issues when i was looking 1.Security- Gated Parking Garage 2.Control Access- Access into the building 3. Apartment- Hardwood Floors, Stainless still appliances, REAL GRANITE COUNTERTOPS, Large bathroom 4. Access to major highways. When I searched around some places had 2 out of 4, or 1 out 4. I found Artist Square Apartments. Since day one I've always been treated like a condo owner vs an apartment renter, by the property manager Felicia. I can remember when I first moved in and my ice maker wasn't working and it was after the office closed, I saw Cedric in the hallway and i explained my ice maker wasn't working he took care of the issue i Review from Google Sep 2015: Please disregard the negative reviews. If Artist Square were a terrible place to live, and overpriced it would not be almost completely leased out. Very rarely will you find an apartment of this caliber that boast REAL hardwood floors through out common spaces, spacious floor plans, high ceilings, garden tubs, stand alone showers, and many more high-end finishes in this price range. The units in this building are under valued if anything! I challenge whoever has an opposing view to find something equally as nice (or better) at a cheaper cost. Review from Google Sep 2015: I've lived here since May 2015. Very nice apartment and extremely convenient location. The staff is very nice which goes a long long long way in my book. There is room for improvement on the maintenance and upkeep, but it isn't as outrageous as the other reviews make it seem. I'm very familiar with this area so I knew we'd need an alarm system. I greatly appreciate how the staff keeps us informed of all the goings on in the community, not just the apartment complex but they keep us posted on the whole Castleberry community (good and not so good).
It is slightly overpriced but the move in fees and qualifications were so great that it somewhat makes up for the monthly price tag. They also offer really great referral incentives as well.
Quala, Felecia and Mr. Ced go above and beyond the call of duty. Very pleasant management/leasing/office Review from Google Apr 2015: Sheesh!!! I want to move here, but after reading these reviews............ Review from Google May 2014: I HATED this complex. This place is overpriced and a complete joke. The pool is pretty much always dirty. Go look at it right now and I am sure it is full of leaves, dirt, and algae. Last summer the pool did not even open until July. Why pay for amenities you can't use?
The fitness room is a small sweat box with no equipment that you can barely breathe in. The hallways are always dirty and smell like weed. There are always parties. The elevator is always dirty. The tenants could careless about this building and neither do the building owners.
The parking garage is full of six inches of dirt and dust so be prepared to track it into your car. In the 2 years that I have lived here, the garage has never been cleaned.
There is only 1 person on the maintenance staff and he works on 8 things at once and never finishes anything. He has been pai Review from Google
