Feb 2018: (DISCLAIMER I WILL BE VERY NITPICKY. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT I DO NOT ENJOY MY STAY AT MONARCH NOR DOES IT MEAN THAT THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ARE TO BLAME FOR THE THINGS I STATE)
Monarch 301 is a very nice place to stay no questions asked. The amenities of this building are unbelievable, the location of the apartment is perfect for walking to and from campus, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, management is very nice, maintenance is extremely fast, there are plenty of fun activities that monarch has going on monthly, and the list goes on. However that doesn't mean there are not things that make the living a little less enjoyable. One thing that isn't the staff or managers fault is the hollow walls. At Monarch you will hear a good amount of what happens in the rooms that surround yours. You may have someone in the room next to you Review from Google Jan 2018: Monarch is amazing! My do slaughter lives there, the staff is so helpful and I haven't gotten any alerts here. The complex is indoor with key cards so it's clean and safe. She wants to renew her lease so that speaks for itself Review from Google Jan 2018: I moved in Monarch January 2018 and so far it has been great. I was first placed in a unit where one of the guys had a pet but I quickly contacted to office and they moved me to a different unit that fit my preferences much better in a very timely manner. The move in process was very easy since everything is submitted online. As soon as I arrived on my move in date, I was immediately handed my keys and was unpacking my car within 5 minutes. Everyone one in the office is super friendly and helpful, especially Ashlyn she’s my favorite. Monarch is also so close to campus that you can walk and be there within 5-10 minutes depending on where your classes are. One thing I really love about monarch is that the apartments are inside of a building with elevators, creating a sense of safety walking from my car into a secured building versus having to Review from Google Jan 2018: I lived here my freshman year of college and loved it!! The stuff is super friendly and helpful! I enjoyed the pool and everything that came along with it! Review from Google Jan 2018: I would like to start by saying this will be a 100% non B.S. review of my stay at Monarch 301.

Management has been more than happy and willing to help me with any problems I have. The only concern I have (and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars) is the Wifi. I pay a decent amount of money to live here, and although everything else makes up for the amount I pay, I would still prefer to have decent wifi in my apartment. Review from Google Dec 2017: I really enjoy living at Monarch because is nice and calm. I like that I have my own room so I can have privacy. The staff are very friendly and kind. But my favorite part is the Startbucks coffee machine at the office. Review from Google Dec 2017: My daughter lived in Monarch during college. We were very impressed with the staff and the simplicity of automatically having her rent taken from our account every month. Less worries! She loved the pool and the social life!! Great place and highly recommend it!! Review from Google Jun 2017: For as much as we pay here, the wifi should be better. Monarch should really consider at least having different routers for each floor instead of having EVERYONE here use the same wifi. Also, for as much as we pay, they should provide us with actual chairs for the desks.
Maintenance is really good about coming when we put in a request so that's nice. Plus they're super nice too!
As far as noise goes, I feel like I can hear the people above me more than the person who lives in the room right next to me. So that's weird. Noise and smells travel through the vents.
Review from 6/3/17 on Google Nov 2016: Terrible management, untrained staff, and over-hyped. My friends and I have had so many problems here the last year we lived here and rent is not cheap for it to be this way. Be ware, if you have maintenance issues, it will take awhile for them to help you. The hallways are dirty, usually find trash bags by the garbage shoot and once saw dog **** in the hallway. Wifi connection cuts out often. I am an honest person and you are better off living at the Forum or other places in the boro. They are scamming you with the fancy design of the place, but hey all that glitters is not gold.
Review from 11/7/16 on Google Mar 2016: I love my apartment at Monarch! However, it is not worth the money you have to spend... The property is not taken care of like it should be (mainly because drunk college students trash the property, but issues take multiple days- sometimes over a week to be fixed). Also, the internet connection is awful. I even bought a router for my room, and I STILL continuously get disconnected from the wifi while trying to work on homework. If they would invest in putting a router in every apartment, I think it would genuinely improve the internet connection.
Review from 3/10/16 on Google Mar 2016: Monarch is a wonderful apartment complex. Close to campus, nice interior and amazing amenities! It is perfect for college students who are having fun and living up their college years. Its not the best environment for older students trying to finish up school.
Review from 3/7/16 on Google Nov 2015: I lived here for the 2014-2015 lease term. During my time at Monarch I was continually disappointed by the service and quality of the complex. The wifi is terrible, the communication between the staff and residents is none existent and the random roommate pairing is fake. I was specific in my request for a non smoker and yet I got someone who smoked daily. I was told that changing my room was not an option during that time.
Review from 11/18/15 on Google Oct 2015: This is absolutely horrible. The staff is incompetent. The wifi is non existent. Its over priced and under furnished. They only got one star because no stars was not an option.
Review from 10/5/15 on Google Sep 2015: Flea infestation..although she doesn't have pets. Broken doors so safety issues, stairways filthy at all times, beer bottles laying around on the stairs so you can fall. Trash in the hallways. Dryer hasn't worked in over a month although we have called and emailed management. Office staff is just a bunch of college kids that are taught to tell you "I understand your frustration. ..."
Review from 9/20/15 on Google Oct 2014: Monarch is an amazing apartment complex. I have yet to hear the people above me or next to me. The staff is super welcoming, the pool is gorgeous, and the place is furnished! Highly recommend this apartment complex. Apr 2014: Do not live here if you appreciate sleep!!! The walls are thin, and when I say thin I mean I can here the girl above me, phone vibrate every time. I've been sleeping with ear plugs in every night since the day I moved in. The trash shoot is always full, you have to walk up to the 4th floor almost every time to make room for it. The management is very nice but I went to them 3 times about my roommate dealing drugs out of our apartment and asked for their help, and they did absolutely nothing! The pool is great though! But you could find way better places to live in the boro.
