Oct 2018: Ive lived here for about a year and have absolutely loved it! The kitchens have dark wood cabinets and granite counter tops that give a high end feel. The office staff is wonderful and they actually know who you are and help to accommodate your needs to the best of their ability. The amenities are wonderful and everything on my checklist as a college student including pool, computer area, Starbucks coffee maker and tanning beds. Maintenance has been the best as my small pup has a fear of men and they are super sweet to him anytime they have to come in for a repair. Review from Google Oct 2018: Simply put, this place is awesome! Lease prices are great and no need to worry about utilities! Absolutely love the staff here at 111 South, very friendly and super helpful! Maintenance staff always fixes any issue right away. Community events here are always fun and the pool is always a great place to hangout. I already renewed my lease for next year! Shout out to Jamie and Hannah, love them! Review from Google May 2018: I was so glad to be able to leave after just one year. The walls were paper-thin and you could hear everybody above you, below you, and to the sides of you. The internet was slow. The staff was very disappointing. Every issue or question I ever had was dealt at a glacial pace (if it was even dealt with at all). Could not recommend. If it was cheaper, it may be worth it; but they are one of the higher-priced apartment options in Statesboro. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend.
reply- Glad to know that while I was there you guys are open about not being "the best." That statement is very opinionated and near-impossible to prove. It certainly was not "the best" while I was there. I have stayed in three other apartment complexes in Statesboro (all offered superior service). Review from Google May 2018: 111 South has definitely been my favorite place to live! And I’m not just saying that. Everytime we had a problem (which were few) maintenance was always there by the end of the day or first thing in the morning the next day. The pool, parking lots, and buildings are always clean and I always see staff picking stuff up. They are understanding and don’t just want your money, instead they do everything to help you out and try to give you the best deal they can! And they feed their residents all the time!!! Grocery bingo, donuts, taco Tuesday, etc... Live at 111 you won’t regret it! Review from Google Apr 2018: My experience at 111 south has been great. Any work orders I placed were swiftly fulfilled, and the office staff was always polite whenever I went to get a package. Any time I had an issue and went to the office I was met with good faith and understanding. Been here for two years and I wish I could take the office staff with me next year! Review from Google Jan 2018: Have been emailing and calling the manager Jeremy about a $50 trash fee charged to my daughter and her roommates for a pizza box found in the parking lot. He will not return any of my calls or emails. He did not give notice of this fee or even ask about this alleged pizza box that came from their apt. I explained to Troy who always answer the phone that the pizza box could have gotten there by blowing out of the dumpster or even when the trash men picked up the dumpster it could have fallen out. I also explained how I have video of the trash men dumping trash and trash falling and being left in the parking lot. Still no return call. Jeremy I am not going away. Review from Google Jan 2018: One11 is the perfect place for students who don't have a fortune to blow on housing but still want a nice place to live. The staff and maintenance are wonderful and all make a point to learn residents names and get to know you. They have tons of events to get the living community involved and even bring in free food some days. There aren't any hidden fees and as long as you pay your rent on time, you pay exactly what your expecting to pay. They also help with roommate problems and are actually concerned about your well being. If you are unhappy, they want to fix it. Review from Google Dec 2017: I love living at 111 South!! The manager Jamie is great. On move in day I had a couple of problems with the apartment and she got them fixed immediately! The neighborhood events they host in the Clubhouse are awesome and I always leave with cool prizes. Maintenance is on point and responds quickly. 111 is a nice place to stay and I renewed my lease for the upcoming year. Review from Google Dec 2017: Great quality apartments with luxury feel. Granite counter tops, walk in closets, large rooms, optional rental furniture (pictured is MY personal furniture, not rental), washer and dryer in unit, faux wood floors, and open concept shared living space. Amazing salt water pool and amenities. The rates are reasonable and they are pet friendly (I have two dogs larger than 50 pounds). All of your initial deposits and fees ROLL OVER if you renew which is an amazing deal. I have lived here for four years now. Although the complex struggled initially with some security issues, as most college apartments in the area have, resident safety is their first priority. They maintain entry and exit gates and employ night security. Management is very responsive, helpful and kind. They truly care about their residents on a personal level. When my apartment flood Review from Google Oct 2017: All the staff is really great. I've never had any issues with them. They are quick to fix anything an respond to emails. The complex itself is really nice and they keep it very clean. Review from Google May 2017: I love living at 111South! It is super close to campus and I feel like I have a great space to live in. I feel safe living here and have a lot of close friends living here as well, which makes for an awesome community.
Review from 5/16/17 on Google May 2017: The apartment itself is so nice, rent is super affordable. The staff and management suck! They're super lazy and ALWAYS have an attitude on their faces when you pick up a package. I even had one of the girls tell me "we didn't send you a notification to pick up your package, so next time wait for that".. when my package was sitting next to her and had been delivered hours ago. Only person that is ever helpful is XXXX. The maintenance also sucks, the hallways are absolutely disgusting.
Review from 5/14/17 on Google Apr 2017: I love living at 111! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I always look forward to going to the clubhouse to pick up my packages! Maintenance completes service requests either the day of the request or directly after, and they always do it properly. It is a bit loud at times, but it's college! The pool and the amenities are incredibly nice, and you get what you pay for (at an affordable rate). The gates are always locked, unless it rains, so I basically always feel safe. I love my apartment, and I'm glad I live here.
Review from 4/23/17 on Google Apr 2017: Overall it's a very nice place to stay. It's close enough to campus that you can easily walk to class and it's an extremely good price for what you get. Amenities are great, the style and quality of the rooms make it actually feel like an apartment you can live in unlike some others that make you feel like you're still in a cramped dorm on campus. Besides only a couple of times where management has been sub-par, there's not much I can say bad about this place. I plan to stay here until I graduate.
Review from 4/20/17 on Google Apr 2017: It looks pretty at first and that is how they get you. They love to just come into your apartment before you can even get to the door. The maintenance staff consists of some of the rudest men you will meet. The students running the office have no idea what they are doing. We were told we could have our dog and asked 3 different times if the breed was okay and we were told yes every single time but then when we go to register him they say he is too large. They are very unorganized. They will fine you for so many different things but they wont even cut the grass half the time.
Review from 4/9/17 on Google Feb 2017: No management! we have had nothing but a horrible experience living here. They pick and choose which rules to enforce. They don't seem to care about the well being of their residence. The place is being let go! Pick another place to dwell!!!
Review from 2/23/17 on Google Dec 2016: PSA: All of the good reviews are fake and written by staff members. I would give zero stars if it were possible. This apartment complex lost my bedroom key when they were holding onto it months ago. After they lost it, they said they'd replace it for free and months went by AFTER I placed a work order for it and they still hadn't made it. I called about three times and texted a staff member and they all said they'd make the key and never did. I finally had to bring my boyfriend in with me and someone went and made it - it took less than a minute. Not sure why it was so hard to get it done originally. Also, during the time that I had no bedroom key, the staff came and locked my bedroom door while I was away.
Review from 12/27/16 on Google Nov 2016: If I could go back to when I renew this lease, I wouldn't!!!! The first time I moved in the place was a messsssss. They literally gave us apartment that wasn't clean. There was plenty food still in the refrigerator, dishes were on the counters and the pantry still had old stuff in it. Basically all the appliances were not cleaned... They basically just handed us apartment w/o cleaning it. We informed the manager and she sent somebody to half clean the kitchen. I guess they didn't care for the other things. Also, their customer service is poooooop. Since I renewed in August, I have to go to the office every time before paying my rent because they never have the right amount it.
Review from 11/26/16 on Google Nov 2016: Great! I love living here and I always recommend it to all of my friends. I love how close it is to campus. It is a very easy walk. Just a great location.
Review from 11/13/16 on Google May 2016: The apartments are very nice for the price. But lately, shootings and robberies have been occurring way too often. I think the staff has definitely improved, professionally, since I first moved there in 2013.
Review from 5/18/16 on Google May 2016: One11South Is honestly the worst managed apartment complex that I've seen in Statesboro. Upon interest in One11South, they give the ideal business approach to potential residents by emphasizing on prices for the room and the "Luxury" of complex, but the problems that us residents deal with are anything but such, and definitely not worth the pay.
To start, the complex's leasing office and management is ran by young agents who are very unprofessional with their management, and deal with resident complaints in a very unorganized and lazily manner.
Review from 5/9/16 on Google Nov 2015: t is nice place to stay in Statesboro in a relatively cheaper price. The club house is a cool place to hang out. The lazy river and pool side is fun.
Review from 11/19/15 on Google Oct 2015: The room itself is very nice. Spacious living room and bedrooms compared to my previous apartments, The Forum and on campus living (The Forum is great btw. Best staff ever).
What is not good is how the place is run. The student staff over at the office are just terrible. They are unorganized and spout lies like there is no tomorrow. I was told that I can move in as soon as my lease at the Forum ran out on the 1st of August and when it came time to move out, 111 South had told me that I can't move in until 15th of August. When I has signed the lease, the leasing managed has WRITTEN DOWN that me and my roommates needed to move in on the 1st. He said it was no problem.
Review from 10/28/15 on Google Oct 2015: I love living at 111 South! It's great that they have been so welcoming to me as a new student at Georgia Southern University! I truly feel like I'm at home!
Review from 10/20/15 on Google Sep 2013: My wife and I moved our daughter into 111 South in August and while it was still under construction, the energetic atmosphere and friendly staff made moving in relaxing and enjoyable during all the stress of that time.
With the community being gated, it made us feel safe letting Emily live off campus and we really appreciate the lengths that they went to in the coming weeks to ensure that she felt at home. She has told us that the maintenance is courteous and prompt, and the office staff always willing to help.
She did mention some issues with litter on the property but it seems that everything cleaned up after construction was finished and we are sure that this was to be expected.
