Sep 2019: I loved this place. It is very well maintained and the maintenance team is very helpful. I never had any issues reaching the leasing office and most of the communication was via the online portal plus emails. The property manager has been very open and honest about any questions we had. We never came across any noise complaints. Review from Google Sep 2019: These people are the worst. Customer service is the worst. After your lease is over, they will send you to collections for thousands of dollars; even if you return the house in a better condition you moved in too. I am still fighting these people to fixed their mistakes on my report Review from Google Aug 2019: Literally no visitor parking my mom came into town and she couldn’t even park at the complex Review from Google Jul 2019: Cabinets need to be upgraded, cheap carpet, rude staff, maintenance is fast no major issues
Update: They have decided to raise the rent by $150 extra dollars so I am now moving my review to 1 star from my previous 2 star review and here’s why. For an extra $150 the master bedroom shouldn’t feel like a sauna 24/7. The paint on the cabinets shouldn’t be dripping off from how hot it gets. The A/C should work. The carpet shouldn’t be lifting (everywhere)! The appliances shouldn’t look like they were built in 1983 and the staff should at least pretend to be nice. Again maintenance is nice and does their best. The gym is a joke, the only machine that is actually worth something has been broken since I moved in and I moved in sept 2016. I think the master bedroom is bigger then that joker. Nice on the outside and not so nice on the inside. Let me not forget that they want me to pay for trash that I am still taking out myself (no valet but I’m paying and all utilities are separate) Review from Google Jul 2019: Cabinets need to be upgraded, cheap carpet, rude staff, maintenance is fast no major issues

Secondly I have since moved out never missed a rent payment and cleaned the apartment cleaner then I left it, it's been a month and i still cant get my deposit back. They say just wait longer and longer. No one cares about you getting your money they say it's all corporate. I ask to talk to corporate they say they cant do that. I say can you reach out to corporate they say no just keep waiting. I have always got my deposits back in 1 to 2 weeks. It's been 4 weeks now and still no word. I would not suggest moving here. They have roaches crawling out of vents the plumbing in the apartments are terrible. Until they upgrade their appliances and amenities and get a whole new staff in the leasing office I don’t recommend anyone to live here Mar 2019: I have kin that live here. Their apartment is pretty nice. The grounds are maintained nicely. I haven't used any of the facilities, but I hear good things. Feb 2019: I usually dont leave reviews but this is a very quite and pleasant property. Review from Google Oct 2018: We have been living here for 4 years and we love it. If I ever have an issue maintenance will literally be at your doorstep in 15 minutes. Scheryll is one of the best maintenance workers and we love her, she is like family. She does a great job at cleaning and preparing your apartment for when you move in. I love the screen patio so my kitty can hang out. We love the hot tub like they have by the pool always warm and working. We take advantage of the grill patio area thats fenced off by the pool. Weve had amazing birthday parties there and the staff was very helpful when the rain killed our sons birthday party. I do have to say I miss the old staff, but the new girls seem to be nice too. This complex is safe and quiet, they have an armed police guard patrolling our community. Good job! The only reason I didnt give a 5 star is because they swit Review from Google Sep 2018: You're better off living under the bridge. The front office manager is racist even though she hides it well. The maintenance people are awesome in their own stylish way ( don't expect a wave back if you wave at them ) they take care of any issue that comes up. There are residents who have been here for over 10 YEARS & the front office treats them as if they can do no wrong. If you're coming here for peace & quiet. Look elsewhere.
You will only find weird neighbors smoking cigarettes on their patio as they watch you. Review from Google Aug 2018: Sublet here for a few months. Price per sqft was a bit rough and my room never got cold but the rest of the apt would freeze if I got it even close to cold. The kitchen has no storage in the 2/2 we had but was easy enough to make work. The staff was nice enough. My biggest grip is the choices in internet providers. You can have super slow DSL that is over priced (Century link) or some no name brand ISP that does apartments and say they are a cable provider but slower speeds than DSL and twice the cost. This I can't stand in a digital age. Between the heat in my room and the lack of usable internet I was miserable. I will say it did not take them long to fix things and the place was kept up. But the under-powered AC and blatant choice in using a rip off ISP for apts and not letting someone like Spectrum in is deal breaker for me every time. Review from Google Jun 2018: What I really liked about Colonial Pointe when I toured was that residents were actually walking around and using the facilities, so I knew it was friendly. After living here for a year I myself did not participate in a lot of events but lived a happy, quiet life in the back of the complex. We did have roach problems that were only remedied by the Invicit bait gel, which was aggravating. We also had problems with old plumbing causing the pipes to flood and the carpet in all rooms wasn't ideal, but it was a nice cheap place that I could usually relax in and the management was extremely kind to us. I could tell they genuinely cared about their residents and were willing to help out on short notice. Review from Google Apr 2018: My roommate and I just renewed for our 3rd year! We love where we live. The management is extremely professional and hard-working. Any maintenance request we have ever had has been fixed quickly and the staff is always very friendly and very clean - they do not leave messes behind them, which I am grateful for. They offer fun community events. The grounds and property are maintained extremely well.
I always expect to have great rates and good specials at move-in, this seems to be an industry standard thing. However, the mark of a good management company, in my opinion, is how they treat their prices at the time of renewal. Each time we have renewed the price has only gone up in very small amounts. I've lived at other apartments that would give you a great deal at move-in and then hike up the rent by 100+ at your renewal. Our first r Review from Google Oct 2017: I came here to inquire about a rental and they were very nice and welcoming. They even gave my son a cookie. Review from Google Sep 2017: My boyfriend and I lived here for 3 years and were very grateful to have an amazing office and maintenance staff taking care of us in that time. Maintenance was always there for us right away if we needed them (which was thankfully not that often) and the office manager, Janan , was always there for us if we needed anything at all and extremely kind and helpful. Our dog also loved going up to visit Janan and her staff regularly. They made him feel welcome and at home too, which was important to us : ) I definitely recommend Colonial Pointe! Review from Google Jul 2017: Reasonably-priced apartment complex. The one bedroom my girlfriend and I lived in was very spacious compared to other apartments we have seen. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help, for example we ran into a problem moving out of our old apartment and they switched our move out day and we were going to be homeless for a few days with no where to put our belongings but the property manager of Colonial Pointe let us move in early and saved us the hassle. We are still very grateful for how great their staff is and not to mention the maintenance people are extremely nice too and always respond to maintenance requests asap. Overall we had a great experience at Colonial Pointe. Review from Google Jul 2017: I had a pleasant experience here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests were always addressed very promptly. Based upon my experience, other people's complaints hold no merit or are otherwise illegitimate. If your dog ruins their carpet, you complain when they charge you for it? Review from Google Jun 2017: I've only been living here for a couple months but it's been great. The staff is really friendly. The maintenance team is amazing and respond to work orders immediately. We're really thankful to the staff for making it a great experience.
Review from 6/2/17 on Google May 2017: I am a two-year resident, I wish to inform you of the following issues here I am dis satisfied with the way the property manager conduct herself she is very rude, and has made a direct statement in reference to the coming of the new staff member I quote she said that he is GAYthat was very unprofessional the other two staff employees are gracious and kind , very helpful your manger makes the atmosphere so uncomfortable that it keeps a lot of residents from partaking of the events it's not right to have to have to listen to her ill-manner remarks about cookies, or coffee I feel that we should not have to dread going into the office , or wait till the weekend.
Review from 5/13/17 on Google Mar 2017: This by far has been the worst apartment complex I have lived in. There was always roaches and when they came to spray they would leave for maybe 2 weeks if we were lucky and would come right back. But the last stand was today 3/30/17! When I moved out of the apartment on 3/10/17 we were told in the office that we need to make another payment at the end of the month for march's rent so I did so yesterday 3/29/17. I received a phone call today asking if I made the payment and I told them yes. They then called my boyfriend and told him that we needed to cancel the payment and that we owed nothing.
Review from 4/4/17 on Google Jul 2016: I would not recommend living at Colonial Pointe Apartments AT ALL. They are a rip off and charge you a ton of money to live in a small, ugly apartment. While living there SWAT showed up and blocked off the entire apartment because someone was holding a person hostage at gun point and on another occasion, someone else had their door busted in and was robbed. When Colonial Pointe Apartments changed their keys from a typical door key to an electronic FOB, my mom had put down a $100 deposit, cash to get an extra key.
Review from 7/29/16 on Apartment Ratings Sep 2015: I've lived at colonial point apartments for the past three years I have a private entrance studio on the end unit I love it it's quiet the staff is great love the pool one of the best places I've ever lived.
