Mar 2018: The maintenance team is amazing! They have consistently gone above and beyond to make sure that every issue is resolved in a timely manner. And with this being such a large complex, that says a lot. The leasing office has also been great. Ashley Geiger is the leasing agent we have interacted with the most, and she has shown such patience, always seeming to genuinely care about our experience here. All in all, we are happy to call Post Briarcliff our home. The location is perfect, the grounds are beautiful, the amenities are top notch, and we have never felt unsafe. There are plenty of other couples with young children, as well, so that has made us even more comfortable. Its such a diverse and pleasant community. Thanks to the Post Briarcliff team! Review from Google Feb 2018: Service and upkeep of the units has declined from the past. What is promised to be corrected sees delay and lack of completing the repair correctly. Algae on the exterior, broken doors, schlock repaints, lack of pine straw and barren dirt. On top of all of this, MAA, the corporation that acquired Post Properties is mandating that monthly rent payments be made ONLY online. Automated checks can be set up but it does mean opening up access to one's financial accounts. To make the payments using a credit card or debit card increases the full amount paid with new "processing fees." What Post was famous for in upkeep, quality and service has faded from the scene. Review from Google Feb 2018: DONT move in, it’s overpriced. My living experience is awful. Leasing office don’t do anything for you. Anything happens in this place, they have plenty of excuses to not help you. First of all, me, my girlfriend’s and my friend’s car tire was damaged intentionally. It happened three times!!! We have to park our car to other place to solve this problem.
Secondly, pest control are useless. Ants appear everywhere, room, kitchen and living room.
Thirdly, I had a package delivered, but I was not able to take it because i was in other states. I understand that they don’t have any liability to help me keep my package. However, I came back from other state in the next day and I went to leasing office in the beginning of the office hour. You guess what? They said the package was taken by someone. According to their open hours, it took only Review from Google Jan 2018: Terrible maintenance! Ceiling leaking water. They said they can not fix it until the contractor comes, which is out of their control! It has been 2 weeks since they were first notified.
Gate is broken most of the times.
Very disappointed. Review from Google Jan 2018: I moved to Post Briarcliff a few years ago, following an excellent experience at Post Alexander. The Briarcliff property was a bit older .... but the leasing staff consisting of Morgan, Renee and others was top notch. They promptly and personally responded to emails, phone calls and in-person visits and worked hard to make sure the community was well-maintained.
Fast forward to the acquisition by MAAC and things have changed greatly -- and not for the better. To echo the comments of others, the new staff is rude and dismissive. I don't understand what their issues are but it seems to be an office-wide problem, one that extends to the maintenance staff. The gates are constantly malfunctioning and/or left open, which contributes to a less than safe environment, particularly for a single woman. I don't even make maintenance requests now, due to Review from Google Jan 2018: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! They have a huge ant problem me my daughter an I have been living here for 9 months an our apartment is infested with ants they came out an sprayed several times An the ants go away An come back . The ants were all in my daughters clothes bedroom floor an recently were all in the food in my pantry. I contacted the leasing office an spoke with the property manager Joy an she actually laughed at me on the phone Shes really rude by the way I asked could I schedule a meeting with her an at first she didn’t even want to meet with me . I spoke with several neighbors wrote down there names an phone numbers an they are having ant problems as well. The pest control guy knows me personally (because he sees me so much ) I guess he felt comfortable to inform me that majority of these apartments have ant problems an that the leasing Review from Google Jan 2018: Living here has been fine. Maintenance is fast, bugs aren't a problem, and it's a nice community. However, the leasing office staff is the absolute worst! They never understand what is going on, have overcharged on rent then taken weeks to return the money, and most of the staff is incredibly rude and unbearable to work with. Carolyn, the assistant manager, is the only one worth working with, and even she doesn't know what is going on half the time. The manager, Joy, has repeatedly minimized concerns my roommate and I have had with the lease and talked over me. If you can deal with the incompetence for the first few months of living here while they overdraw your account and treat you terribly in the leasing office, then at least the rest of your time here will feel like a vacation in comparison...
Likewise, the staff has been terrible about r Review from Google Jan 2018: Not sure what the issue with the leasing staff is. They are always super nice and helpful when I talk to them. I never hear my neighbors ever, and that is the No. 1 issue living in an apartment. I wish other places I lived were as pleasant. Other than my apartment needing renovation because it is a bit dated I would tell anyone to not hesitate to live here. The gym and pool are great. I have never had an issue with getting my packages. And it is in a good location with a lot of good food nearby, and two Krogers and a Whole Foods within a mile. I sat here for a few minutes before posting this trying to think of anything bad but I can't. Review from Google Jun 2017: Lived here for 10 months with no problems until a post property worker hit my car with a golf cart. POST did fix the car, after the fact they made me drive around Atlanta to get multiple price quotes. Additionally, i had to take time off from work and other social obligations to take the time to get the quotes, take my care to the shop, pick up a rental vehicle, and pick up my car. For the inconvenience, I asked for a "small" rent deduction in which I was denied. POST apparently has a policy to never give rent deduction no matter what happens to your apartment.
Review from 6/5/17 on Google Jun 2017: Never had any problems - staff was always helpful and friendly. I moved away because I got married.
Review from 6/3/17 on Google Sep 2015: We have lived here for 3 months now. We talked about moving intown for a long time (lived in Suwanee) and LOVE this location. None of the middle of town noise but everything is so close by.
The staff here is exceptional from the maintenance crew to the office staff. They are all over anything you need done. Very happy with the place and see us living here for a long time until we buy our forever house.
Review from 9/27/15 on Apartment Ratings Jul 2012: Post Briarcliff is exactly what you would expect from a publicly traded apartment owner/management company. Interior apartments are basic but maintained, the exterior grounds are well-maintained, but the community feels generic and transient. My girlfriend and I have lived in the complex for 2 years. Overall, Post is a fine place to lay your head for 2-3 years -- as long as you can keep pace with the double-digit yearly rent increases. Review on Apartment Ratings from 07/01/12
