Mar 2019: The apartments are older and definitely need repairs and renovations. However, staff is quick to respond to problems. The location and rent are great. Parking here can fill up fast (especially if you are parking in the top lot). Management provided parking permits, but it's not regulated at all. Feb 2019: Amazing staff that is always willing to help! Apartments are very reasonably prices that look amazing. Review from Google Jan 2019: Absolutely love the recent staff. Monroe place is getting better and better Review from Google Oct 2018: I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone who values themselves. The current leasing agents and office staff will lie directly to your face, overcharge you for things they claim have been resolved, and will forge your signature on legal forms regarding your unit. There are plenty of other apparetment communities on Monroe Drive that are much more accommodating, professional, and welcoming. Review from Google Oct 2018: The worst place I’ve ever lived. It started off great until new management took over. Nikole, one of the managers will lie to your face and tell you one thing then bill you for another. I’ve been yelled at and ganged up by 4 of the people that work there at once and couldn’t get a word in. Rental Referrals? Hahaha good luck getting your credit. They’re a bunch of frauds and I can’t wait to get out of this place. I would highly recommend moving to The Gables down the road or anywhere but Monroe Place Apartments. Review from Google Oct 2018: Best apartment in midtown/buckhead area. Best area in Atlanta, it’s close to everything. The price and the service is amazing and overall a great place to live. It’s a gated/safe living community. They have many cool complementary events to offer. The leasing office always took the time to fulfill my needs and solve any problem as soon as possible. Go see Nicole and get your apartment today. Tell her hasan sent you and she will take good care you. Review from Google Aug 2018: This apartment complex is by far the best I have ever lived at! I have moved a lot over the years and let me just say that the staff here make renting easy quick and affordable. Also they keep their pool clean which is a huge plus for me. Need things fixed maintenance is always on top of it. My partner and I plan on staying here for a long time! I couldn’t ask for a better agent to help us find the unit best suited for us. Thank you Nickole for all your help! Review from Google Jul 2018: I've lived at Monroe Place for only two months, but could not be any happier! Leasing office staff are fantastic, and maintenance is excellent! Any issues have been addressed very quickly, and they really do want happy residents! So refreshing compared to my former apt. Kudos to EVERY employee!! Review from Google Jun 2018: Great staff and comfortable apartments! The complex is great for walks and is quiet. Requests get filled promptly and is very reliable. Overall nice place to live for all ages:) Review from Google May 2018: Staff is super friendly and helpful! It's located in a great place to get to everywhere in Atlanta. And the price is wonderful. Review from Google Jan 2018: I moved to Monroe Place in 2012 and since then I have enjoyed living here and being part of this community. The apartments are great and have been recently upgraded and the location could not be more convenient. We are right between Mid-town and Buckhead which are two of the best areas in Atlanta plus we are within walking distance from Piedmont Park.
The management at Monroe Place and all staff from maintenance to the leasing office are fantastic people, They are friendly, professional and most importantly they do a good job. They really make you feel welcome. Review from Google Jan 2018: I am a current resident, and this is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The access and location is fine, but everything else is just completely disastrous. There is no communication when something goes wrong in or around your unit; they will say they completed things when they clearly did no even attempt to; there is no manager or anything to appeal to; the maintenance crews clearly do not care.
I think there was a lot of turnover in the middle of last year, and I tried to give them all the benefit of the doubt, but nothing has changed and it is clear they do not care about any of the issued residents have. This is by far the most incompetent workforce to ever manage an apartment.
I once just sent them a note letting them know my bike had been stolen; never even got so much as a response back.
We moved here from Savannah Mid Review from Google Sep 2017: I called Monroe Place inquiring about a studio apartment and greeted by such a friendly young lady named Natasha. Natasha answered all my questions, didn't make me feel rushed and scheduled an appointment based on my availability. I love a place a business that provides great service so decided to visit the apartment based my telephone experience.
Natasha followed up with when I missed my apartment due to being ill and rescheduled. When I met the leasing manager in person, she had a big smile, tones of energy and a sweet personality. She introduced me to the staff, shared rates, floor plans and gave me a tour of the complex. Everyone in the office was super friendly, especially Louisa. I decided to submit my application that day.
Natasha followed up with me on the application status and move in date. Everyday that I've seen her or Louisa si Review from Google Sep 2017: Luisa Garcia is so helpful in the leasing office! She was able to get me moved-in quickly and hassle free. I can always count on her to greet me with a big smile whenever I stop by the office. It is evident that she cares for all of the residents and works hard to make sure we enjoy our homes. Review from Google Sep 2017: I am a new resident here and I love it. This is really a great property in a great location. What's even better is leasing agent Luisa Garcia! She is AMAZING-hands down the best leasing agent I've ever come across. She demonstrates a great level of professionalism but also concern. Your concerns and issues are HER concerns and issues as well. And because of that she makes you feel right at home and assures that everything works in your favor. So with that being said come live here and make sure to lease with Luisa Garcia! She is truly the best (she should be the property manager). Review from Google Mar 2016: This complex is in such poor repair. Last week a radiator started a fire in one of the units. The office staff is rude and really rips you off on w/s/t. When we moved in our apartment was extremely dirty and the painters didn't even finish painting the walls. I can hear everything my neighbor does and can literally hear the words to the music she listens to, the walls are so thin. Things are breaking costantly. The pipes in the walls shake and i cant take a shower if the person who lives above me is already in the shower because I won't have any hot water. When I complain to the office they just say it's an old building and there's nothing they can do.
Review from 3/4/16 on Apartment Ratings Mar 2015: I've been happily living at Oak Knoll over 3 years now. It's in a safe location with great restaurants, public transit, parks and shops all within walking distance. Plenty of off-street parking, on-site laundry facilities, tenants that are respectful of one another, and a responsive maintenance team make it easy for me to relax at home. I recommend checking this place out if you like in-town living in a comfortable setting.
Review from 3/5/15 on Apartment Ratings May 2007: Good: Oak Knoll is such an awesome location. The apartments are different than most. The hardwood floors and crown molding in my apartment were very nice touches. Good size for 1 person, or a couple. The bedroom is very large and the kitchen is gas. mine has a dishwasher. I thought the built-in-thewall gas heater worked very well in the winter. The bathroom had a little space heater that made it cozy too. Bills are ridiculously cheap. My power was never over 40, gas around 30. water is free.
BAD: not very much closet space.
Overall: I would recommend signing a six-month lease so you can make your own decision. Not bad, but not that good either. could be nicer if they put some work into the units. Review from 05/07/07 on Apartment Ratings
