Sep 2019: I absolutely love it here! Madison was incredibly helpful with my entire move-in process! Definitely resigning my lease! Review from Google Aug 2019: I've been living at the residence for about 3 weeks now and things started off really rocky. Our apartment had a terrible pest problem from our move in date and the leasing office staff was not helpful in getting the issue fixed. It took multiple calls and reaching out to management before our issue was finally handled by the manager named Madison. Hopefully everything else will be fine moving forward! He does not wear a uniform and has nothing to prove that he works for the site. My first interaction with him makes me fear to send my teenagers to the pool. 1)maintenance requests usually takes weeks! We had to stop by leasing offices multiple times to get our apt fixed.
2) bad management on online portal. After we moved out, I was told I had to pay a water bill for the last 2 month, which is fine. However, without showing the balance on the online portal, staff asked me to just pay the amount he told me thru online portal. WTF! do you ever ask your customer to pay without showing the price tag or a receipt?!?!

Easy move in process and positive leasing office environment, which has always been a struggle in other locations for me. Ask for Madison she was very thoughtful and informative. First and foremost don’t be alarmed at this property’s rating. I’ve witnessed the brats this leasing office has to deal with, predominantly privileged Emory students who haven’t the slightest idea about adult life. I was given a tour and the property and units were well maintained and cleaned. As for the staff, Jessica has superb and genuine customer service. She was reliable, knowledgeable and did her absolute best to accommodate my needs. I truly appreciate Jessica’s service. She deserves a company reward! They’re lucky to have her! The newest (Lincoln) has been extremely frustrating. They do not accommodate previous services provided under past ownership. Its been extraordinary frustrating interacting with this new management. I implore you to find a cheaper, nicer apartment complex with different management.

I am highly dissatisfied with Lincoln Management. why would they put a whole new staff here and our electronic payments do not work and we have to keep calling the office because no one ever answers. London was the only nice person they had here and now the staff seems to be flustered anytime they cant answer simple questions. Review from Google Jan 2019: I must renew my review for the new management at Highland Lake. 4 months ago, I have many issues need to solve and fix, but for the before management, I waited long ---long time !! Until they come here and replace the old group! The new management repaired or replaced new machines for my home. Now, if I have any question and report to the lease office, they can quickly fix it in next day or even the same day! I must especially thank London, for some issues I always cannot describe using speaking English, so I always email to her, she always replies to me in time and fix all issues for my home! The most serious Review from Google Nov 2018: I lived at Highland Lake from November 2016 to June 2018. During this time, the entire staff changed twice. Some of the staff members were capable, most were disinterested and incompetent. If the office hours are 9-5 on a given day, the office was empty before 9:15 and after 4:45. Phones were rarely answered during office hours.
The “security†gate at the front was almost always stuck open. The gym has just been refurbished is actually pretty good. The pool areas are excellent in the summer. The quality of the appliances in the kitchen/laundry is very good, and the staff are quite fair regarding inspections upon move out.
The worst things: Our apartment flooded three times during our stay; completely flooded, as in an inch or more of water throughout. The staff is amazing and they have helped me with everything that I needed since I arrived in Atlanta. They are friendly, kind, caring and, above all, the apartments are wonderful. I just wanted to put this review out there to let people know that the management has changed over the past few months and is SO much better than before. Reviews from before September 2018 are probably true, there were problems with packages, the gates were open more often than they were closed, you couldn't get any maintenance done, and your calls to the office would be sent to the void of the answering machine even if people were sitting in the office. It has taken about two months for the new management to get everything sorted out but they have been making consistent improvements and everything now seems to be running smoothly. There is now an efficient and secure package system, the gates are almost always closed, and my maintenance issues which had been waiting for over 2 months have been taken care of.
