Jul 2019: Lived here for a year during my last year at UNCW. The Property Management staff and maintenance workers are very friendly. However, overall I would definitely not live here again. My bike, which was locked from the bike rack, was stolen.
The pool was never fixed after the hurricane and it turned into a disgusting frog pond that I had to look at from the apartment windows every day. Some residents received $100 credits toward their rent for not having access to a pool, but I was told I cannot have the credit because I was not renewing my lease.
The bathrooms also have no fan to circulate out the moisture in the air, so if you do not want mold to grow everywhere you have to leave the window open and submit multiple maintenance requests to have them come clean it. The air conditioning is also very loud and sounds like a vacuum cleaner is going off in the living room.
five stars for the quick response to maintenance requests and the friendliness of the staff Review from Google
Apr 2018: One of the friendliest and most helpful property managers and maintenance staff in all of Wilmington. Highly recommend! Review from Google
Apr 2018: I lived here for 6 years and loved it! Very peaceful and quiet. Review from Google
Mar 2018: A lot of college kids. Apartments are ok. Spacious. Lady that helped us was informal and did not have many answers. They are going through a remodel. Maybe the apartment will be better soon. Review from Google
Dec 2017: We have been here for three years and love it! If there are ever any problems, maintenance will usually come that day or the next. They keep up with the property as far as landscaping goes. They clean the sidewalks, the porches and steps, and pressure wash the buildings every few months and it keeps the whole complex looking nice and not worn down like a lot of places. We feel very safe here. The staff is always kind and helpful. I have never had an issue with any other residents here, nor have I ever heard of any from any one else. Everyone really minds their own business. I would recommend this place to people who want to live in a peaceful, quiet, drama-free place. Review from Google
Mar 2016: Village Green is such a nice, affordable apartment complex literally steps away from campus. It is really quiet and the staff are beyond friendly and accommodating. Review from Google
Apr 2012: we have watched pitbulls being tained to fight along the fence lines. so many people have illigal dogs, from pitbulls to even larger dogs, no shots, no liscence. no lease, running wild. dogs let loose to go to the bathroom, where ever they want to the point where it is hard to walk around without stepping in it. Besides the flies and stink, there is the danger of getting attacked at any time. they charge at you and the people won'teven call them off. There are so many cats having kittens spraying and digging. we were told every dog is supposed to be under 25lbs. with a picture and papers and registered at office. What a joke.

Feb 2012: If You're looking for something affordable I'd definitively suggest this place.. my apartment has AMAZING central air and it's a decent sized duplex. There were some issues with the maintenance and the office. My water is included and I once had a leak and they fixed the leak but because the leak went over my cap I had to pay the difference even though the leak wasn't MY fault. This happened twice. The first time the water company fixed my bill so I didn't have to pay for the extra gallons but the second time I had to pay an extra $30 to a water bill I am Not supposed to pay for something not my fault. Other than this it's not a bad neighborhood.
