Hi, Loading...

Sep 2019: It’s a pretty nice place. Me and 3 buddies moved into an apartment that had 2 guys already there. Management didn’t really make sure we moved into a clean place. The complex is pretty nice, but the hot tub was constantly needing to be repaired. Me and my buddies enjoyed our time there for the most part though. Although we did eventually get screwed on our returned security deposits, barely getting anything back. Review from Google
Sep 2019: Good price for pretty good facilities. It's nice to have a big courtyard and pool: kind of sets Centennial apart from the nearby complexes. A bit farther from campus. The laundry/recreation room is nice. All in all a good place! Review from Google
Sep 2019: The community so far is very nice, and everything in the city is nearby. If you have a car, you usually at most only need to drive 10 minutes to get anywhere you may require, such as restaurants, marketplaces, college and such. The apartments are a little cramped and need occasional repair requests, but these are for the most part not deal-breaking issues. Overall great place to live! Review from Google
Aug 2019: With the recent renovations, it’s a pretty good apartment for the price. Got a pool, BBQ area, and lounge as amenities; everything is in good condition. Been satisfied with management; super easy to work with and no complaints so far. Review from Google
Jun 2019: Centennial is amazing! Kaylin does an great job at managing the property and she is so helpful. The apartments are in a great location just a few blocks from BYU campus and right next to a gym. I love it! Review from Google
Jun 2019: They illegally raised the rent for some of the renters and their washers and dryers never work. They will also send back anything that goes to the office after 2 days because they constantly have "too much mail in the office". Their office hours are ridiculous too, so good luck getting mail if you work full time EDIT: Since Centennial feels like it's necessary to lie to save their reputation, I thought I'd respond to the blatant lies in the response to my review. They claim here that they hold packages for a minimum of 30 days, but in the email they send you, they say the will send it back after 48 hours. I posted a screenshot for proof. So they are either lying to all of their residents and not actually sending packages back or they are lying in their response about holding your package. Either way, this is the kind of management you'll be dealing with. As far as raising the rent goes, it happened to my roommate Review from Google
Apr 2019: Relatively low rent keeps tenants from complaining too much about any problems. They kept most of my deposit without explaining why. (I am no longer a current tenant which is why I do not show up in their system) Update: I've heard that rent has increased at least 50 percent over the past 7 years. Review from Google
Mar 2019: They completely lied to us and told us they had spots, they had us sign the lease, and then a week later told us they did not have any room for us. I feel like integrity is not a thing for this complex. They ended up wasting an entire week for finding housing. As a result we lost out on several opportunities to live in more respectable places. Jan 2019: It's a good apartment complex! There's a shuttle super close. You have to leave about 7 minutes before it shows up to get there on time. It takes roughly 30 minutes to walk to campus. For some reason, a lot of engineers tend to congregate here. The only reason I dropped a star was cuz it's expensive, but it's still cheaper than a lot of the other BYU approved housing places, so that's good. The cheapest place I ever stayed at was Campus Plaza, and it was good but too crowded. This complex has more room and that's great! Two people per bedroom and all that. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Centennial is SUCH an awesome place to live!!! It looks a little ghetto and some people might be initially turned off by that, but honestly, does that really matter? It shouldn't. The inside is actually super nice AND THE PEOPLE ARE SO GREAT!! I LOVE LIVING HERE!! If you want a fun, social, and accepting place to live, choose centennial. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Great office staff! Reply quickly and are so friendly. Each apartment has been renovated a bit with new floors, paint, carpet, furniture, and vanities in the bathroom. Review from Google
Jan 2019: Great Management, helpful maintainence, awesome prices, and incredible environment. The Wards here are so great. Totally recommend! Review from Google
Jan 2019: I have lived living in Centennial! It's super social, cheap to live there, and management is great. Would highly recommend living there Review from Google
Jul 2018: Relatively low rent keeps tenants from complaining too much about any problems. They kept most of my deposit without explaining why. (I am no longer a current tenant which is why I do not show up in their system) Review from Google
May 2018: Save yourself the hassle and don’t live here. There are so many better options at lower prices. As other comments have explained, this place has terrible management. To sum them up in one word: unprofessional. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that they dress up in skeleton costumes every Halloween and beat up anyone smaller than themselves. Every email they send is filled with fear tactics, threats, and typos. During a misunderstanding the manager didn't even try to hide the fact that he was using his power as manager to play favorites because he hates BYU and it’s students. He and all those he hired have a California beach bum douchbag arrogance about them. He cursed at me and told me that I needed to follow what he said because I’ve had my endowments and should be submissive. If you’re looking for a humble, down to earth atmosphere, Review from Google
Jan 2018: I have lived here for over a year. The buildings are old-ish but clean. When something breaks, they usually come within 24 hours to fix it. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. The management has been very fair to me. Parking is bad; the lot is full after 11pm but there are always spots a 4min walk down the street. Management is honest and fair. Review from Google
Nov 2017: I gave myself a tour when I moved in. BOOM! - Maintenance harasses people occasionally. - The cleaning people came to clean and made it worse, lol? That was awkward. How about I take "getting motivated to clean 101" if they take "how to clean 101?" deal? - The management doesn't really care about leasing or making residents happy. That's sad. =/ - They ripped out the nice tress and put in grass. Say goodbye to shade. - I'd recommend finding another place to live that actually cares about their residents. - the end Response to below: My above review was trying to be nice. Who knows what people would say if I said everything that happened at Centennial apartments. I lived here for a while and when I moved out I got slapped with some kind of $30 fee. I asked management if they would kindly showed me where I agreed to this fee charge Review from Google
Aug 2017: Charged me $25 for a $1 electronic key card (HID prox cards, I use them/replaced the exact same ones at my work for people all the time,). 3/6 of my roommates paid this fee bc they never originally worked thus naturally thrown away. Tried to reason with them/replace an exact copy of the card which are easily calibrated but front office lady said "thats just how things are" about my fee without trying to make things work. To be fair one of the guys was nice and trying to be helpful. Deposit money also disappears with no explanation. Review from 8/30/17 on Google
Aug 2017: Awesome for what you pay! Quick to repair and management always keeps you updated on things! Awesome place. Review from Google
Jun 2017: They just recently renovated the outside with new blue paint, so it looks pretty nice! They are older apartments, but the lower price makes up for that. Maintenance is always very fast to respond. Review from 6/29/17 on Google
Mar 2017: You can't beat the rent prices! The apartments may be a little old and have a somewhat rundown look on the inside, but they're definitely worth the rent you pay for them. No real complaints here. Sometimes maintenance is slow getting to low priority requests ( for example, a broken vacuum) but that isn't too big of an issue. Close proximity to VASA, free shuttle to BYU campus, and plenty of great roommates! Review from 3/14/17 on Google
Dec 2016: Centennial is a super social environment! The apartments are a little used and smaller than Sparks II where I used to live. The pool is great. The Rec Room has restrooms and is very large. The Rec Room does have a moldy smell to it, and that's an issue that happens when it's really warm. The A/C in the Rec Room is also not very good. The smart TVs in each apartment are amazing, but the bathrooms are a little small, and the carpet is stained. Overall, I love the environment and the balconies on each apartment. It's very fun! Review from 12/4/16 on Google
Nov 2016: Centennial Apartments has been a great place to live. The rooms are fairly spacious and the upkeep is good. A shuttle is available to take you to BYU campus. The management comes up with nice activities, and they are very eager to help with whatever you need. The apartments are a little old and the kitchen doesn't have as much storage space as is needed for six people. All in all though, I have really enjoyed living here. Review from 11/23/16 on Google
