Oct 2019: These apartments are pretty new, extremely safe, nice and quiet, and have incredible folks working the front office. The management is not only organized, but they are polite and treat us tenants like we are human rather than simply a source of income. Everything I have needed they took care of with a smile and have gone above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness here. The pool is really nice and the grounds are clean. The maintenance guys are quick, efficient, cheerful, and dependable. The parking is great, the location is awesome! The train comes by, but we are in what is called a silent zone and our walls are thick so we NEVER hear it! Within 2 minutes I can get to the HEB, Walmart, Starbucks, Walgreens, church, school, work, all of it. Not to mention, downtown Bryan is only a 4 minute drive down the street this place is on. Definitely check it out. Review from Google Aug 2019: Horrible experience moving in. I resigned my lease because I loved living here but I’m regretting it. I signed my lease back in March. Come move in week I got a call that my apartment wasn’t ready. I was supposed to move in July grant it I signed my lease in March so I didn’t understand why it wasn’t ready but I moved things around and changed my move in date. When I finally got my keys I walked into trash everywhere in my apartment and the light switches not having covers. Not only that but the paint was chipped through out the entire apartment, the molding on the flooring looked damaged, the apartment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, the washing machine wasn’t clean and many more things wrong. The apartment did not look move in ready. I have never had such a bad experience moving into an apartment ever. I won’t be resigning my lease next year. Review from Google Jul 2019: Great apartment complex! The new management staff is very friendly and have handled the only minor maintenance issue I had quickly. would recommend this complex to anyone. Review from Google Jul 2019: I moved in last year in September, I was able to take care of everything online, which was great considering I was out of state. When I arrived everyone took the time to ask the questions that I had and help me transition in to my new apartment. The apartments were very clean, and quiet. The current staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend to my friends or anyone interested in moving here. Review from Google Jun 2019: The Presidio apartments made the process so easy! They helped me every step of the way and made sure that I got what I needed in an apartment. I have seen several apartments recently and they definitely topped the cake! I can’t wait to move in. Thank you to Cyanne Kristin for everything you did for me!! Review from Google May 2019: I have lived here for four years now. Truly enjoy my apartment. The new management is great and easy to work with. The location is awesome and the amenities are a plus. Review from Google May 2019: We have lived here for a year now and recently renewed. Everybody here is extremely nice and super helpful. The office is always full of smiles! Thank you for everything Presidio! Review from Google May 2019: Loving the new owner. They have done a great job renovating the place. Great location, friendly staff, and wonderful amenities. Plan to stay here for years to come. Review from Google May 2019: I have recently moved out of the Presidio after 2 years I have enjoyed my time here. The staff was always very helpful and maintenace got things done fast. The staff also made moving out quick and painless!! Review from Google May 2019: Great location and very friendly staff. I enjoyed the past four years living here! I originally moved into a standard and they allowed me to transfer to a renovated and I absolutely love them, they are very nice and modern! I recommend 10/10 Review from Google Mar 2019: These apartments are simply way too close to an auto body shop that leaks benzene by the gallon. All the blacks growing up there had liver failure. This is not suitable for rapidly growing teenagers. Review from Google Jan 2019: Yeah this place is super dope now that they got purchased by a new company :)))) Review from Google Jan 2019: Howdy,
I am entering my 4th semester in college and have been with presidio since my 1st semester. The company who owned presidio before the new one company was incompetent and just garbage all around. After the purchase, I noticed a massive change and couldn’t be happier.
The main reason for my satisfaction is because of a single employee that continues to stand out and out perform expectations every single day he works. Ever since Joseph Cabrera has joined the presidio team, the quality of customer service has been unmatched. I have walked into the front office countless times to see him working harder than all other employees combined, even to the point where he is sweating, yet keeping his normal, calm composure.
Examples:
1) I saw him check for a package 4 times before telling a tenant that they hadn’t received anything just yet, Review from Google Dec 2018: I am less than thrilled with the new management. They are terrible at communicating any changes they're making, and more than once I've had to go to the front office to ask about something going on in the complex they gave no warning for. They changed the front office hours without notice, and more than once I've tried to go to the office about 20 minutes after they're supposed to be open and no one is there.
There is also apparently no longer a courtsey officer after hours, and if you call the number for "emergency maintenence", which is just their same office number, it just rings eternally. I was locked out of my apartment for several hours after the key broke in the lock while I waited for the office to open, unable to get in touch with anyone else on staff.
They also no longer bother giving any notice if packages show up. I've had pack Review from Google Nov 2018: The staff have an overwhelming attitude of "as long as we get your money, we don't care how your experience is". Any experience with the staff or online portal has been harder than it needs to be. Review from Google Oct 2018: Nice property! Calm quiet environment. I would definitely recommend. Review from Google Oct 2018: Let me first say, I love the employees, super sweet people and I am posting this under a false name so they may not pursue me. BUT This place is complete garbage; it’s falling apart and the NEW OWNERS SCAMMED ME. After resigning (I only resigned because of the $250 gift card) I waited till the promised date for the gift cards. When I went into the office, they told me they “didn’t have my name down for the offer†even though I resigned souly so I could receive it. I spoke to an employee and they said “cooperate is being stingy and doesn’t want to give the money out to atleast 10 other people†10 OTHER PEOPLE!!! Sounds like a scam to me! Whatever you do DO NOT SIGN HERE. The buildings are falling apart, the spiriklers are ALWAYS breaking, they leave HUGE piles of garbage out in the open for days at a time, the maintenance crew cam Review from Google Aug 2018: Jordan is the bomb! Also the the members of the staff in general are consistently very helpful. I lived at Presidio for two years, and found the staff totally amicable and communicative. Otherwise, it's a nice place to live. You guys rock!
EDIT: nevermind, they charged me 300$ the day I moved out for a 20 year old microwave that broke the first week I was there, and a cleaning charge for an apartment I kept meticulous. don't live here. Review from Google Jul 2018: Not even derserving of 1 star. By far the WORST staff and housing/apartment management in the city of Bryan/College Station. Cheap, out of date and poor quality apartments and execptionally rude employees. There is some kind of incident involving the authorities at least twice a month on the residence and NEVER any parking (even though we pay for it). Also, the front office will do anything and everything to rip you off and take any penny's that they can get their hands on. Worst experience with housing I can imagine. Absolutely unprofessional and incapable of handling anything well, staff. I highly recommend you DO NOT live here. Also very poorly located. Review from Google Apr 2018: This apartment complex is ill located and not within walking distance to anywhere except a sketchy corner store. It is not on the TAMU bus routes, and don't plan on biking there, because there's no sidewalks and the bike lane only goes a less than a quarter mile each way from the apartment complex. There is a business office, but the printer never has toner - it is continuously on order 'for next week'. Also, if there's more than two people needing to use the computers at once, don't bother because the rest don't have mice to navigate and the office staff can't be bothered to replace them. They include internet free! But it only works sometimes and the only place to get signal is in the bedroom that your router is in (you have to buy this too) because having a port in the living area is too much to ask. The train tracks are directly across the Review from Google Mar 2018: I love living here! My only complaint would be that parking is sometimes difficult. Other than that, the staff is great and maintenance is always super helpful. Wish I had found this place years ago. Review from Google Jan 2018: We've just been here for almost a month and all our requests were answered fast and effectively. Especially Maintenance Esteban. Review from Google Dec 2017: I stay at this apartment complex fairly often, and while habitable, I still have gotten bit by mosquitos near the drive movie theater Review from Google Sep 2017: Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Presidio.
Management: I never had any trouble with the management. Everyone was kind, attentive, and knew me personally. I'm pretty sure most of the reviews complaining about management are caused by people not following clear directions and then getting mad at the management for being punished for it. You will even notice that most of the complaints start off with someone admitting they didn't follow a rule. And they rules are pretty standard / not a big deal. I even had an issue when I moved out that was easily resolved (I was wrongfully charged for leaving a large package outside my door - the next tenant had already mailed himself some furniture. The individual who helped me was super nice and understanding)
Maintenance: I only had to call for maintenance once during my stay and they were quick, kind, a Review from Google Aug 2017: Mary the manager is the most unprofessional person I have dealt with. I have not lived in the apartment since last December and I get a call this August that I have not followed the move out protocol. I not only paid all 6 additional months and didn't live there but we asked if we could return the keys early by 3 weeks. They said we could so my Dad drove all the way from Houston to return the keys and make sure everything was clean (I had already moved everything out in December and cleaned it but he wanted to make sure ). My roommate did the same. Then we get called getting accused of letting someon live there when both of us HAD ALREADY RETURNED THE KEYS. They accused us of giving our keys away, and said they had no record of returning it and that we would both be held liable for the person who lives there. Mind you we both followed protoco Review from Google
