Nov 2016: I love Reveille Ranch! I have lived here for a year already and I cannot complain about anything. They set me up with the most amazing roommates and it is so close to A&M and the rent is so low it's great!
Review from 11/19/16 on Apartment Ratings Nov 2016: I really enjoy living here at Reveille Ranch! My roommate and I got the room we asked for, have a decent view, hardly ever hear our neighbors, and are within walking distance of both North Gate and main campus! The front entrance is also very well maintained as are the beach volleyball sand lots throughout the complex (I believe only two). It is a little disappointing that the units themselves are relatively blah, but the interiors and roofs are all recently renovated. It came fully furnished with comfortable couches and mattresses, and I have yet to have any pest or mold problems.
Review from 11/1/16 on Apartment Ratings May 2016: I lived at Reveille Ranch for 2 years and was shocked to find out how many bad reviews there are on here for Reveille Ranch! I remember my time at Reveille Ranch quite fondly and I would still live there today if I hadn't graduated.
The good:
+ The price: Not many decent places in Bryan/College Station can beat it.
+ Maintenence: We had a few Air Conditioning problems over the years and they were usually taken car of within 24 hours. We also had an ant problem once and that was taken care of within 2 days
+ Management: Alot of people on here are complaining about management, but I thought they were very friendly and chill. I'm guessing the haters weren't paying their rent on time or are just pissy human beings.
Review from 5/3/16 on Apartment Ratings Apr 2016: I have lived at Reveille Ranch for 2 years. Here's the thing: nobody rates apartments unless they are really angry, or really happy. So take everything on here with a grain of salt.
That being said, it's really not that bad. Anywhere you live is going to have basic maintenance and noise problems. The only major issue there is the maintenance could not fix our AC to save their lives: for the first month living here, they continuously filled it with more and more freon, it would break after about 3-4 days, and they would come back and do it again. This, of course, caused our apartment to flood every 3-4 days. After that month, they finally brought in a professional and we have not had a problem since.
Review from 4/7/16 on Apartment Ratings Feb 2016: I suggest you not live here unless you have no other choice.
First, the bad:
My roommates and I have been woken up far too many times from outside noises such as neighbors playing guitar or people talking too loudly. It's as if there's no insulation in the walls. Plus, I can practically hear every toilet flushing and every shower running in the whole apartment (which isn't too bad, but still annoying).
This complex is located right next to Saddlewood, which is a low-income complex, and, although have had nothing done to me, I have heard of many break-ins into apartments and vehicles.
Review from 2/1/16 on Apartment Ratings Sep 2015: I woke up to a cockroach crawling on me, there was also one on my desk, and one in my bathroom. They had promised us when they moved in that they did a sweep and that maintenance had renovated the apartments, when there was hardly nothing done at all. My screen has tears in it, and one guys screen is a quarter of the way ripped off! Appliances are okay, anything dealing with water in these apartments is insanely loud. Even the toilet flushing. The Shower heads literally have the equivalent power of a fire hose.
Review from 9/18/15 on Google Aug 2015: I would rate it lower if I could, but I cannot. We had a broken fridge that never got fixed, the light on our patio was broken, the management is as unhelpful as they could possibly be, and we had roaches that they finally got rid of two weeks before I moved out. My experience was something like the Money Pit. Save yourself the headache and live someplace else. Also, my roommate and I did not get any of the nice furnishings they advertised, everything was close to or older than 10 years old.
Review from 8/14/15 on Google Jul 2015: Please do not live here. The front office manager is so rude. Very rude. I've never met somebody this rude. Treats you like you are an uneducated person and has a lot of sass. Needs to learn basic manners. Always unhappy towards anyone
Car also got broken into. Not a secure place to live.
Review from 7/25/15 on Google Dec 2014: I've been living in this apartments for two semesters now and I can only say good things about it! The personnel at the office are always very kind and ready to help you with whatever you need, and if they can't help you, you can always just walk to the maintenance guys and they will get it for you. My fridge and microwave died and in just a couple of days they gave me brand new ones! Reveille Ranch is only 2 miles away from campus and there is a bus that stops at the entrance of the condominium coming every 8 minutes. It takes 15 minutes to get to campus.(current resident 12'6'2014)
