Jan 2016: I'll start with the positives: good location, relatively affordable, staff was generally friendly (while I was a resident), new paint and water heater installed while I was there.
Now the negatives: I was promised an "upgraded fixtures" apartment but never saw any evidence of nicer fixtures anywhere in the apartment.
There were regularly people being very loud at the pool well after hours (after midnight during the week, well into the early morning on the weekend) and the windows of my apartment did very little to dampen the noise. The staff never made any attempt to deal with the issue.
Review from 1/8/16 on Apartment Ratings Mar 2015: I currently live at Country Place Apartments, and it is a great location in terms of its proximity to the TAMU, College Station, and downtown Bryan. However, I DO not recommend it for those who value running water, hot water, peace and quiet, or those who expect to have things fixed properly and in a timely manner. It took more than 30 days for me to get some basic repairs done, but in order to do so, I had to contact the corporate office. Also, my unit was not cleaned or painted before move in even though someone specifically informed me that everything was done. My carpet was allegedly replaced but it smells like urine in here from a pet, so if it was replaced, I am not confident they replaced or treated the lining underneath.
Review from 3/3/15 on Apartment Ratings Oct 2014: I love my apartment! I've lived here for 3 years. The management is very nice and come to know you by name not apartment number, they're very quick to fix anything that goes wrong or that needs fixing. The complex is quite, the neighbors are nice, and the environment is quiet.( current resident 10-30-2014)
