Apr 2017: Eh. Management is nice and maintenance crew is alright (even though they don't really do quality work, they just do it as fast as they can). The apartment complex as a whole is in OK shape. Not a terrible place to live though.
UPDATE: Things are getting better. They've upgraded the clubhouse and pool areas. However, they didn't upgrade the most important thing, the computer lab. The PCs are always restarting automatically, time and date are wrong and different on every PC, Internet is slow and the printer often doesn't work. It also took them at least two months to fix the broken coffee machine, and at least six months to fix the broken cable machine in the fitness center.
Review from 4/14/17 on Google Jan 2017: I've lived here for almost a year. You are right next to Bryan so expect police across the street, stolen cars/car parts, your doors, Holding your purse a little tighter, etc. one night I saw a drug deal and it wasn't weed or an acidic drug. They stared me down going up to my apartment so be careful what you see. someone actually tried to break into my apartment over the summer but luckily ran off when they heard me come closer to the door. maintenance does the best they can but they're only 2-3 people working for the whole entire apartment complex. Staff is very friendly though!
Review from 1/4/17 on Google Dec 2016: Dirtiest place I've ever lived at. Btw don't add them on snapchat if you live there. It's just a way for them to see what you're doing at the apartments so they can bill you.
Review from 12/18/16 on Google Dec 2016: Do not live here, they will charge you for any and everything they deem fit, the management is rude, they are overpriced for half decent and outdated apartments, and even though it's close to Blinn, the robberies, drug dealers, loud and obnoxious drunk students, and expensive rent are not worth it. DO NOT LIVE HERE. If I could give this place a zero, I would.
Review from 12/11/16 on Google Jun 2016: This place is absolutely amazing, I lived here for two years while I was at Blinn and never had a problem once. The staff is very friendly and is always more than willing to help you with any questions you might have. It's within walking distance from Blinn so you don't have to pay for a $150 parking pass which is really nice because blinns parking is outrageous as it is. They also have 24/7 maintenance that's on call which really comes in handy if there is a problem of some sort. All in all I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Review from 6/10/16 on Google May 2016: College Edge doesnt have the nicest apartments, but its extremely convenient, Blinn is super close and there are 2 bus stops right next to each other, both going to A&M. The staff has been super friendly and helpful the whole time i have been here. The only complaint i have is some of the stuff in the apartment are outdated or broken(ex: closet doors, porch door blinds, and the lights always break for no reason), other than that, i have no complaints. Good place to live as a college student.
Review from 5/23/16 on Google May 2016: Sewage backs up and drains out onto the sidewalk. Glass lives in the parking lot for weeks on end. The outdoor lights dont stay lit properly at night, despite the long list of attempted home invasions, robberies etc. that have occurred on the premises. One of my friends has lived with a rat for two weeks. Incompetent maintenance. A/C flooded 5 times in the span of 2 weeks because they didnt fix it properly, ruining $300 worth of my clothes. Used patchwork to fix water damage to my ceiling, and even then, it was only after several complaints.
Review from 5/16/16 on Google Nov 2015: Overpriced and underserviced, but they can get away with it due to the proximity to Blinn, which is the only real advantage this place has going for it. You could do worse though, and if you're attending Blinn, this place may be worth it despite its shortcomings.
Review from 11/18/15 on Google Nov 2015: Proximity to blinn is nice but apartment itself could use work since everything is made from particle board stuff breaks easily. Iv had one break in so make sure to lock your stuff up other than that pretty good place overall
Review from 11/4/15 on Google Oct 2015: I love that the apartment complex is right next door to the campus, because before I graduated from High School, I would ride the bus back and forth from school to my house, and I really like that I can just walk to my classes, and the walk doesn't take long either.
I also like that throughout the month, College Edge has opportunities for residents to get prizes, because it gives me something fun to look forward to, and the mail delivery system is great too!
Review from 10/25/15 on Google May 2015: Great apartment, great amenities, less than 5 minutes to walk to class which comes in handy whenever your alarm clock doesn't go off!
Review from 5/05/15 on Apartment Ratings Mar 2015: Very disappointed, did not finish summer renovations. The renovations were done by the poorest construction company and the ones the did finish are already breaking down. The appliances in the apartment are very out dated. And the management does nothing to fix these issues. The're only concern is getting more leases.
Review from 3/04/15 on Apartment Ratings Dec 2014: Its not bad at all. Its a place to live and its close to blinn. Review from 12/11/14 on Apartment Ratings
