Dec 2018: I've had a pretty wonderful experience at University Pointe so far. When I have an issue with my apartment, typically it is taken care of relatively quickly with little or no delay as long as it is within the time period maintenance can quickly stop by. The staff in the main office are kind, helpful, and professional at what they do and are always kind whenever I need assistance. Other than that it's a great complex to live in. Review from Google
Dec 2018: The management staff here are very nice and helpful. Anytime I have an issue, Verenice is always there to help me fix the issue. I would recommend this place to anyone living in the Tempe area especially ASU students. It is just a short walk to the campus and it is a great living experience. Review from Google
Dec 2018: Our AC/heater has been out for over 3 weeks and they still haven’t fixed it. Someone came saying they’d check it out the following Monday since it was a Friday afternoon, but they never came back or followed up with us. My friend who also lives here in a different unit has cockroaches and they’ve yet to fix that problem for her as well. She’s been living with her sister somewhere else. Review from Google
Nov 2018: I requested for pest control and the front office told me that I am on the list for it, but the pest control never showed up. Poor service at the front desk. I called to put in the request for two times in a row because the pest control did not come. I have been requesting through calling the office. Now, they simply told me to put in maintenance request online. Horrible service at the front desk. The person did not sound apologetic at all. It sounded like it's not their problem. They did not even try to help me resolve the issue. Horrible front desk service. Review from Google
Nov 2018: I moved in about 7 months ago and I started counting down the days until my lease ends within the first week. Our air conditioning was broken for the entire summer, when we complained countless times we were told by Kathy that it is an issue everyone including herself deals with and we just had to live with it. Our bill was 250$ higher than the price it was supposed to be and it took 3 months for it to get fixed. Unfortunately that is not the only thing that is broken, our gate has not locked since I moved in, meaning anyone can get in. Being a young girl on the first floor this is not only terrifying but very frustrating because no one in the leasint office seems to care. All of the laundry machines are broken, there is dirty water surrounding the entire place, and cockroaches are in every apartment. The roof which collapsed 4 months ago has Review from Google
Oct 2018: I love it good price and all. But didn't know I'd be living behind noisy frat boys. If not for that key detail would rate them 3.5-4 ⭐ Review from Google
Jul 2018: Just moved out after staying with them over 2 years. Best rental experience, I've got to say all of the staff are very kind and professional. They seem to care about residents and property, anytime I've needed them I've had the best customer service and prompt service if I ever needed maitnence and always answers to my questions if I had any for the people in the main office. Clean and most units have upgraded features. I've been in other units from making friends with other tenants. Highly recommended, good price and close to classes. Review from Google
May 2018: I live at the Lemon Grove location. I have BEGGED admin and maintenance to improve the noise issues but they never listened. From my bedroom I can hear the smallest footfall of the room above me and the rest of their apartment, I can hear when they use the toilet, I can hear the sexual activity. I can hear the people outside so clearly it is like there is no glass to speak of. This is true in the living room too. It’s maddening. I have sought mental health support because I can’t sleep most nights. It is not that people are being unnaturally loud, it is because apparently when University Pointe says remodeled they mean old appliances, old outlets, old doors and no soundproofing. Wouldn’t live here again if someone paid me. Review from Google

Feb 2018: It's a good place to be in. Close to many food stalls, grocery stores. It's just half a mile away from campus. It's also well managed. Thanks to verenice, the moving in process is very smooth. She is always there for your help and approachable. I would definitely recommend my friends here Review from Google
Feb 2018: I have been a resident at University Pointe for around 9 months and am thoroughly satisfied with the management and services provided. Verenia was extremely helpful in helping us set up and sign our lease, and made our initial experience much easier. The complex offers a wide variety of amenities and activities in addition to its clean, renovated living quarters. I would definitely recommend UP to anyone in the area looking for a reliable, affordable, and fun place to live! Review from Google
Feb 2018: I have had a wonderful experience at the University Pointe. Lauren O'shea has made this process so easy and stress free. From the time i signed my lease, to the weekly package pick ups. She continually makes living at the Complex that much more enjoyable. The apartments themselves are very clean and spacious for the price you are paying. I have really enjoyed staying a the University Pointe and will continue to do so throughout my college experience. Review from Google
Feb 2018: I had a great experience at University Pointe. The apartments are so nice and they’re also affordable. The staff is awesome; if you go in ask for Lauren. She’s very helpful and friendly. Will always recommend this place. Review from Google
Feb 2018: Great apartments. I'm going to miss living here. If you're looking for beautiful apartments, great prices, awesome community and caring staff. If you go in to apply talk to Lauren, she is such a caring, and generous person. She will help you with anything and everything you need. She takes her job very serious while also being able to have a real conversation with you. She definitely loves her customers and job. I leave a 5 star review because they deserve it. Feb 2018: I've lived at University Pointe for 2 years and have had an awesome experience. The staff are extremely helpful with ensuring that i'm comfortable and my apartment is in top shape. The location is awesome being right across the street from campus which is one of the main reasons I moved here. It also helps that the price is affordable while still having all the facilities of a more expensive apartment, with multiple pools, a gym, laundry mat and a lot more. 17/10 would recommend to a friend. Nov 2017: University pointe is an okay apartment and definitely a great option for an ASU student with a budget. The buildings look old and outdated from the outside but they are fairly nice on the inside. The staff is helpful and all my maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. The only issue I've had is with cockroaches. I've only seen a few and I immediately used Advion bug bait and the problem was resolved. Considering Tempe has a huge cockroach problem, I wasn't too surprised. Overall it;s been a great place to live I do have a piece of advice, each room layout is somewhat different so when moving in, ask to see all available room layouts.
Nov 2017: -Apartment itself is a 4 . Everything in my unit is working and in a decent condition. It's extremely close to campus . -Staff is a 3. They are very nice but don't know how to actually solve my problems. They are disorganized and don't seem to communicate with each other and will send you in circles amongst the staff trying to get your small problem solved. -laundry machines don't work and are crappy makes me mad that they can't simply invest like $2000 and get new laundry units that work Overall , I think I would choose this complex again and I would recommend it. It's cheap so you have to make trade offs . Review from Google
Oct 2017: University point has a problem with keeping residents quiet at night. As a student, I need to wake up for classes and the loud parties and yelling disrupts my sleep. It is not a quiet community. Review from Google
Sep 2017: University Pointe has a very great location! Nice neighbors..awesome area! A few cons, maintenance does labor work early early in the morning on weekends most of the time. The office ladies are very helpful. But it is always something going on at the apartment. Hot water runs out, bugs everywhere (even after cleaning as many times), pay a high bill in electricity (one bedroom is almost $200-$250), the AC doesn't work very good, even with the AC on 74...the apartment gets very hot/humidity. I would not recommend this place unless you don't care and just want a place to live next to campus. Very fair pricing. Review from Google
Aug 2017: University Pointe is a a great place to live. Kathy and her team are very friendly and ready to help you with anything you need. Great swimming pools, BBQ areas, fitness center, student area with pool table, and large screen TV. With in walking distance to ASU, restaurants, light rail and don't forget Dutch Brothers is right across the street for your late night studying or early morning classes. Great prices, great people, and great times is what you will find here at University Pointe. Review from Google
Aug 2017: Over the last three years there has been a lot of turnover in managing and ownership of this apartment complex and the current property management has been undoubtedly the most unhelpful and least professional. The biggest concerns are a lack of communication, responsiveness and overall concern. don't expect to receive prompt and timely return phone calls despite weeks of leaving several messages. For instance, we had a busted pipe underneath the ground of our bedroom that was seeping water up through the floor. It took a month to get fixed. Also, the central air condition broke for a week in the summer and no one received money back on their rent (all utilities are included in the rent so we paid for AC we did not receive). Other issues include roach problems and broken credit card readers on laundry machines.
Aug 2017: UP is located in a great location for students. Being an out of state student, UP has mad me feel at home. The apartment is very clean and updated. If anything needs to be fixed, maintenance fixes it very quickly! Review from Google
Jul 2017: Not bad for a 1st apartment for a college student, but not a great place to live. Walls are thin and neighbors are often loud, quiet hours unenforced, construction noises all through the morning, hot water constantly going out (and often all water was out due to "plumbing issues"), constantly having problems with the laundry machines. The apartments are small for the price, and my bike got stolen twice, but the location next to ASU was great. Review from Google
Jun 2017: Stay away, out dated facilities, kitchen looks like from 1980, cockroaches everywhere, prices are not cheap !! for unfurnished apartments that don't even have an updated appliances. The funny thing that they will keep emailing you to renew your lease while your maintenance request which you have submitted weeks ago is still not looked at . AND PEOPLE IN THE FRONT OFFICE ARE RUDE !!!! is like W*F nothing good about this place. Review from 6/9/17 on Google
Jan 2017: Living at University Pointe has it's ups and downs (mostly downs). While they try to lure you in with amenities and promises of proper management, what is shown isn't what you'll be receiving. They get props for great pricing and friendly staff. The people who do maintenance are professional and have your best interest in mind. However the buildings are poorly built and unsafe. The floors are so thin I hear my neighbors sneezing and can easily listen into their conversations. Obviously anything louder is a problem. Foot steps vibrate the entire level so when someone walks from their door to the staircase the apartment 3 doors down can feel the vibrations. Review from 1/8/17 on Google
Jan 2017: My girlfriend lived here for a year. Here are the complaints: - The staff is very unhelpful and inexperienced with customer service and general property management. They seem especially negligent to the residents living in the older buildings. - When she moved in, there were issues such as it not being completely cleaned. It needed to be vacuumed, mopped, and the bathroom needed to be completely cleaned. - One time somebody (presumably from maintenance) unlocked the door randomly and then walked away. (Good thing too, because coming in without 2 days advance notice is illegal) - Stove burners were broken upon move in and were charged against her deposit on move-out. - Construction behind the building was often being done outside of legal hours and above legal noise pollution levels, yet management did not care.
