From the beginning of my stay at Summertime Villa I was mislead and lied to by the management staff.
Hannah, one of the staff members, showed me around unit LL2 by the loop highway and assured me that the road noise quieted down at night, and after I asked if there were Ethernet ports she responded "I believe so."
Then on the first day of my stay, I found that what looked like ethernet ports were landline phone ports and the road noise was unbearable at all hours and continued to be so for the duration of my stay.
I went to Hannah with these complaints and she said there was nothing they could do.
That set the tone for my two year long stay at Summertime Villa. Consistent problems and untrue reassurances.
My water heater broke 7 times, the 1st flooded a portion of the apartment. My shower head and bath tub broke three times. The community laundry was needlessly expensive, about 7$ and two hours time for four loads of laundry every week, and the dryers did not dry enough so even more quarters were used to dry clothes twice Review from Google

First it was roaches, now it's crickets!
I have spent so much money on bug sprays.
There are literally thousands of crickets all over my front porch and front door daily! And the front door is poorly insulated, there is a large crack between the floor of the apartment and the bottom of the door along with the sides of the door, so crickets are easily able to come in. Every morning I wake up and find at least 10 crickets inside my apartment. I called the office to see if there was anything that could be done because I literally could not exit my apartment because my front porch was covered in so many bugs. All they suggested was that I sweep them off of my porch with a broom........these crickets were all alive....and if the front o Review from GoogleMay 2016: I rented at Summertime Villa through AG Rentals for over 3.5 years. Outside of a couple minor policy disagreements with management, it was an excellent experience. On the outside the units are not much to look at, but inside they are well-kept and clean. Maintenance always did an outstanding job when I needed them. I've never had a problem with hearing neighbors through the walls or anything like that. The staff were always very friendly when I interacted with them. These are solid, cozy apartments. I had friends who lived there (which is how I began living there) and I would recommend renting there to others. Good value.

Dec 2012: Upon moving to Lubbock I looked at several apartment complexes. We had to sign our lease without looking at the apartment because it was "full" and it turned out to be the older apartment style. I was a little dissapointed but with that being said I love living here. I may even live here longer than expected. The neighbors are so quiet and if you have any problems they resolve them asap (usually the same day). The customer service is top knotch. The only thing I really dislike is the gym...its more of a closet than anything but thats ok. Review from Google
