Mar 2019: Initially it was good. That all changed when the complex sold. The new staff was slow to respond even with maintenance calls. It went from same day to a week or longer. The kitchen counter was already damaged when I moved in, and it was noted on the inspection check list. After move out was charged for the damage and the new staff said that they did not have the inspection list. This staff can NOT be trusted!!! Review from Google
Jan 2019: I loved living there for 4 years. It is an Awesome place to live. Staff were friendly and helpful. Review from Google
Nov 2018: Forget this place. The pictures that they put on the website are completely different from the reality. It is an ugly and dirty community. They think we need to accept old stuffs and bad maintenance. I was excited about the prospect of moving to a place so close to the university but this place is a lie. The electric bill is a nightmare due to the old ac unit and cheap windows and doors. I pay more than US$ 170.00 per month and before I lived here I was in a two floor apartment and never paid an amount like this. If you are a person that doesn't care for cleanness community, you can come in. This place can never be called "home". Review from Google
Oct 2018: When I first toured Madison Pointe, I was excited about the prospect of moving into a quiet, well-maintained apartment complex. Now, however, I cannot wait to move out once my lease is over. I have lived here for a little over a year now, and the water has been completely shut off between 6 and 8 times, sometimes without prior notice. When you’re a college student attempting to cook, shower, and/or do laundry/dishes in between classes and studying, not having water is extremely frustrating. In addition, each time the water has been shut off, it was for several hours at a time. It’s completely ridiculous for that to happen so often during the span of just a little over a year - if you need to “fix” the pipes that frequently, maybe you need to do something about your water system as a whole. Secondly, I’m not sure where the people wh Review from Google
Jul 2018: I have lived here for the past year and it has been a pleasure. Management under Lisa, Shelly, and the rest of the team has made living here fantastic and enjoyable experience. The work done by the maintenance team should also not go unnoticed. When you put in a work order, they come as soon as they can and do a wonderful job at it as well. I have lived at previous places where maintenance would 1) Never show up and have to constantly be reminded or 2) Do a very shoddy job. Do not take a good maintenance team for granted. The community is quiet and feels very homey and safe with the families that live here. I would recommend anyone wanting to live here that enjoys a quiet and safe environment. Unfortunately, I have to leave due to them not being able to stay competitive. If I were to renew, I would be paying approximately $125 dollars more Review from Google
May 2018: My husband and I lived at the Madison Pointe Apartments for 3 ½ years, and overall it was an excellent experience. Maintenance was typically on time and fairly responsive. The emergency line (which we did have to use on one or two occasions) works well into the night. Appliances which came with the apartment matched (all black) and were brand new, as agreed upon in the lease (we did pay a little extra for that). New carpets were installed prior to our moving in and the walls were uniformly. I personally have a high standard of what “clean” means, so I did spend some time cleaning after we moved in, but I fully acknowledge that as unnecessary. Amenities we used most were the pool, gym, dog parks, and study suite – all were usually well-maintained. When a given amenity was out of order, the front office team did their best to make accommo Review from Google
May 2018: Generally, this is a nice apartment, with good staff and maintenance, and is on the bus route. One thing that should be improved is the pest control and possibly environment cleaning. Having compared with friends living in other apartments, Madison Pointe appears to have more flies and other bugs when it gets warmer. Every day I have to battle with more than one flies flying into my apartment whenever I enter or leave, every day. Some of my friends live in this apartment also complain about this. Besides, the apartment should try harder on restricting tenants with pets as poops are easily found on the property, which is another potential reason for the flies. And as a current tenant, I recently learned that there will be a significant increase on the rent for my new leasing term, which I absolutely don't appreciate, I mean, this is definitely Review from Google
Apr 2018: The staff was initially very helpful and willing to work with me, being a freshman looking for a place to live that was cheap and close to campus. They walked us through the model apartment and then proceeded to help fill out all the paper work, but that was the end of their helpfulness. The unit which I moved into was nothing like the model. The cabinets were falling apart, the countertops were deteriorating near the sink due to leaking water, the outdoor storage closet was full of holes and was disgusting. The carpet which was old and work out had stains all over the place and had a strange odor to it. Also the units are extremely non energy efficient. With the air conditioning set at 76 which is warmer than I’d like to be, our lowest electric bill was $126 which was in February. The bill got as high as $210 in the summer due to the old ac Review from Google

Aug 2017: Lived here for about a year. Only moved because my wife and I wanted a bit of a bigger place and a second bedroom. Our year here was nothing short of fantastic. Any issues we had with appliances or just in general were also taken care of quickly and completely. All the office staff and everyone working there were nothing short of professional and always went out of their way to make sure things got taken care of. For the price especially, it was a very nice place to live. I would highly recommend it! Review from Google
Jul 2017: Tl:dr Madison Pointe has done illegal things and should credit me back my $175 My first year was good. My main problem was roaches in my bathroom (of which I am terrified) They said “they’re probably just coming in through the vent" and refused to fix it so I would only go in my restroom when needed. I would do my makeup/fix my hair in my room so I wouldn’t have to be in there because they were popping up almost everyday. (This comes into play later) I renewed, but I did a lease transfer into a two bedroom to get a roommate. When able to get a new unit, I came to get keys, because I had a guest who could help me move, but Abby said I had another charge. I already paid the $300 transfer. She showed me my lease with an application fee and administrative fee. The application fee should not have applied my old info would transfer over alre Review from Google
Apr 2017: I'm a graduation student, so I enjoy this complex because it's quiet. It also has families. The maintenance is generally pretty fast when responding to requests too. Review from Google
Feb 2017: Love the staff! Lisa Is AMAZING and a joy to work with! Review from Google
Jan 2017: My only major requirement when looking for an apartment for grad school was a quiet place to come home to and Madison Pointe has exceeded my expectation in that regard. I walk my dog a few times a day and sometimes as late as midnight. Never, in nearly two years, have I had to deal with a sketchy situation or belligerent undergrads. As another reviewer mentioned, it's not the newest or the nicest, but it has decent amenities and a good family oriented community. Management is timely with requests and the few guys doing grounds are always friendly and willing to chat. Review from Google
Aug 2016: Great Staff! Nice environment and reasonable price. Highly recommended. Review from 8/18/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2016: I enjoyed my stay here at Madison Pointe, and it's mainly because the staff are the best apartment staff I've ever encountered. Lisa is by far my favorite staff member. She goes above and beyond for her residents. She has personally helped me with neighbor issues and noise complaints with loud college students blasting music. She has always managed to keep the area quiet. When it came to move-in, the carpets were not up to par. However, Lisa requested the carpets to be cleaned again and the apartment looked great after that. Her and Shelly work wonderfully as a team and I've just been overly impressed with the staff. The only complaint I have, which I have already mentioned, is the loud college students. Review from 7/29/16 on Apartment Ratings
Feb 2016: Been a resident for now 6+ months. Highly satisfied. Very prompt and professional staff. Maintenance done on time and done well. Free cable, and wifi. Two swimming pools, basket ball court, tennis court... Peaceful and quiet place. Recommended, especially for folks with families Review from 2/12/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jan 2016: I've lived at Madison Pointe for nearly 4 years and I can't say enough nice things about this place. Maintenance guys are great, which is honestly one of the most important things in Apartment living. The ladies in the office are always nice and they always seem to be open! This is a great location. Close to campus, restaurants and my favorite, shopping! I have recommended MP to my colleagues and classmates as well. I will definitely be staying until I graduate from A&M. Thanks for always making me feel at home, Madison Pointe. Review from 1/8/16 on Apartment Ratings
Jul 2015: ___ the current Manager SUCKS. ____ and ___ are both more reasonable to deal with. She's extremely unfriendly and does not disseminate information properly. She's only interested in your lease agreement and rent check. If you don't have to deal with her, you are lucky and will enjoy your stay here. Should you have to have any dealings with her once your lease has been signed, you will regret it. Maintenance sucks. They make everything that breaks or stops working your fault. May 2015: My sister and I looked at almost every apartment in College Station and although this one isn't as fancy (or expensive) as all of those other student apartments, it is still a great place to live. The maintenance people are very quick and very friendly. It's also very quiet there and in the 6 months I lived there I only experienced one disturbance. I even lived right by the pool and it was still quiet. I also only saw one bug in my room the whole time I lived there which is AMAZING. Overall, this is a wonderful place to live. I'm glad this was my first apartment. Review from 5/27/15 on Apartment Ratings
May 2015: I lived in a two bedroom apartment for two years here with a roommate. I even convinced two of my friends to move and rent here because it was really great. The price is appropriate for an older building, and much better than what you will find elsewhere. The rooms (although older) are relatively clean, very spacious, and I never had to worry about bugs or mold or anything crazy. The appliances are also older, but they work great. If you watch how you use your appliances and electricity (turn off light switches, control your laundry and dishwasher usage) then the bills are also relatively lower than other places I have lived in.
