It depends. In general, for the first two years the majority of your classes will be on NCSU's Main Campus.
Later on, once you get into your major and the related classes it may be better to live on Centennial Campus. In particular the Engineering majors or Texiles wil have the majority of classes on NCSU's Centennial Campus.
If you are a grad student, this becomes more important, in particular, if you are a grad student in engineering, living near NCSU's Centennial Campus will be very important.
